Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 580: Chapter 580: Curing Li Yanran’s disease

After letting Chen Qingqing and Qiao Xixi go, Lin Dong and the others also headed towards the mountains outside.

Li Yanran said to Lin Dong, ”Lin Dong, did you take the Thousand Year Snow Lotus and then made a breakthrough?”

Lin Dong nodded, ”Yes!”

”Then can you cure me?” Li Yanran excitedly asked Lin Dong again.

Lin Dong nodded, ”I can. However, we’ll need to get some Chinese medicine from the county town first, to help you fix your Meridian Deficiency.”

”That’s great.” Li Yanran was immensely delighted.

For years, her inability to make a breakthrough to the next realm due to her Meridian Deficiency had caused her great distress.

Now that Lin Dong said he could cure her, the joy was palpable in her words.

Li Qing was also very happy, she asked, ”What about that dragon? You didn’t kill it, did you?”

”Mhm.” Lin Dong nodded, not hiding the truth.

Hearing this, Li Qing was shocked again and couldn’t help but exclaim, ”Then now, you are basically invincible under the Earth Realm.”

”Above the Dragon Rankings, perhaps only King Kunlun could be your match.”

Lin Dong just smiled and did not reply.

This trip into the mountains had been hugely beneficial for him.

Not only had he obtained the Thousand Year Snow Lotus and made a breakthrough to the Internal Qi Conversion Pill stage, but he also acquired the ’Devouring Technique’.

Plus, he had taken on one hundred billion yuan in foreign debt!

Of course, he had also slept with Qingye Piaoxue, the female swordsman from Yinghua Country, which could be considered a glory for his nation, right?

These gains were beyond what Lin Dong had expected before he came.

It was a very successful accidental journey.

The group had an easy time leaving the mountains.

In less than two days, the four of them arrived at the county town of Shi County.

They first checked into two hotel rooms, and then without any delay, Lin Dong went straight to the largest Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacy in the county to get the medicine for Li Yanran.

After arriving at the pharmacy, he handed the prescription he had written to the clerk at the pharmacy.

”Prepare the medicine according to this prescription!” Lin Dong instructed.

”Right away.” The clerk took the prescription from Lin Dong’s hand and went to prepare the medicine for him.

As for Lin Dong, he looked around the Medicine Hall.

He saw an old TCM doctor sitting and diagnosing, with many people in line waiting for treatment in front of him.

At the moment, the old doctor was treating a refined middle-aged man with acupuncture.

After watching for a while, Lin Dong couldn’t help but offer a piece of advice.

”He has not only a lung disease but also liver disease. The liver disease is fundamental, so your acupuncture treatment is incorrect.”

However, upon hearing this, the old TCM doctor’s face darkened as he said, ”Where did this brat come from, daring to instruct me on how to treat patients?”

He was the most prestigious old TCM doctor in this Chinese Medicine Shop, well-known throughout the entire county town.

The middle-aged man in front of him was no ordinary person either; he was a senior leader within the county’s education system.

This leader, surnamed Liu, also frowned at Lin Dong and said, ”What nonsense are you spouting? My liver is fine, I just have some cough, where would I get liver disease from?”

Lin Dong shook his head, responding, ”The signs of liver disease haven’t appeared yet, the lung disease is only a minor issue. Liver disease is the major problem and if it isn’t treated, I’m afraid you won’t survive more than half a month!”

”Kid, who are you cursing? Is that how you speak to someone?” Leader Liu was completely infuriated now.

The old Chinese doctor was even angrier as he snapped, ”Young man, don’t cause trouble here. Otherwise, I won’t be polite!”

Seeing their attitude, Lin Dong didn’t say anything else.

But considering that saving a life is more meritorious than building a seven-tier pagoda, he still left them with a final remark.

”If the condition becomes serious, you can come to the Shi County Grand Hotel and look for me. My name is Lin Dong!”

After saying that, Lin Dong didn’t linger any longer. At that time, the medicine clerk had already prepared the medicine.

Lin Dong took the medicine and left.

As for Leader Liu, he did not take Lin Dong’s words to heart and continued to receive treatment from the old doctor.

After getting the medicine, Lin Dong returned to the hotel.

Back at the hotel, he went to Li Yanran’s hotel room.

”The medicine is ready, I asked the hotel to help make the decoction. Once it’s ready, we can start treating your meridians,” Lin Dong told Li Yanran.

Li Yanran nodded vigorously.

Soon, the hotel finished preparing the medicine.

Lin Dong asked Li Yanran to drink the medicine.

After she had taken it, he asked Li Qing to leave the room first.

Now, only Li Yanran and Lin Dong were left in the room.

”Take off your clothes and lie down on the bed,” Lin Dong instructed, pointing to the hotel’s bed.

Li Yanran’s face flushed with shyness.

But, considering that this was part of the treatment, she no longer hesitated.

She went to the bedside, removed the clothes from her upper body, and presented her flawless back to Lin Dong.

Then, she lay down on the bed.

Lin Dong walked over, placed both hands on her smooth back, and began the massage.

The massage technique Lin Dong used was also an ancient lost art.

This method required the use of Inner Qi.

Concentrating the Inner Qi in his palms, his hands became as hot as fire.

Each massage stroke was more painful than fire cupping on her back.

This made Li Yanran uncontrollably cry out in pain.

”Ah... Lin Dong, be gentler, gentler, it hurts, it hurts so much...” Tears streamed from Li Yanran’s eyes as she cried out in the room.
