Is It Weird for a Guy to Apply to a Witch School?

Chapter 364: The Brief Separation About to Face

”Big Sis Bai Yu. Here’s the dessert you ordered…”

At this moment, Yu Meng, who had slipped away from Big Sis Bai’s lap at some point, had already brought over Big Sis Bai’s dessert.

She must have heard Big Sis Bai order dessert earlier and took the initiative to ask at the front counter.

”Thank you.”

Big Sis Bai looked at Yu Meng with some surprise, but still turned sideways to take the tray, accepting the coffee and dessert.

”You’re welcome. Carrying things is my job, even though it’s a bit heavy… but I’ll exercise hard in the future!”

”It’s fine, little one, just stay cute. You can leave the serving to the big sisters later.”

Bai Yu smiled and stroked Yu Meng’s small head, then gently tugged on her sensitive little ears, thoroughly enjoying it.

”No, no… the cat cafe provides us with a place to work, we can’t… slack off. We also need to learn other things.”

”Is that so? Want to learn other things…”

This little Yu Meng reminded me of a skill I had brought back earlier, ”Fool’s Dream Drink.”

That magical concoction, which, when consumed, could temporarily enhance transcendent elemental affinity and allow one to see energy vision, was made entirely from natural, handmade juices with no additives.

I had also brought back many seeds and asked Sofili to help with planting and breeding.

If the fruits grew well in the end, the Fool’s Dream Drink could be replicated.

This was Yu Meng’s specialty.

However, as they lost their original bodies, and the stripped-away Nightmares took their memories and many other things, this craft they themselves had forgotten.

”I remember now. Since you want to learn another skill, how about learning to concoct the Fool’s Dream Drink?”

”Fool’s Dream Drink? Huh? It’s… something with our name in it!”

Yu Meng said with a surprised expression.

”Yes, it’s named after your Fool’s Dream Clan,” I said with a smile.

”Huh? Really? Oh… Big Sis Little Han said… we once lost our memories, could it be…”

”You guessed right,” I nodded and said.

I had told them before that they had lost their memories.

It seemed their thinking abilities were quite good now.

I had stayed in Ninglan New City for a few more days earlier to wait for the people of Ninglan New City to completely clear out the Nightmares before using the Great Wisdom Enlightenment Spell.

Now it seemed Yu Meng’s little brain was indeed turning faster, at least much more flexibly than when she was my assistant in the transcendent base in the underground city before.

”The Fool’s Dream Drink was a concoction you, the Fool’s Dream Clan, once created with your own hands. The first time we met, you enthusiastically treated us to it.”

”Really? So Big Sis Little Han really knew us that early. No wonder… no wonder Big Sis Little Han takes such good care of us.”

”Of course. But… even if we hadn’t had any prior interaction, Yu Meng is so cute, I would still take care of you. So, do you want to learn?”

”Yes! Of course, I want to learn!”

”Mm, but it might take some time, because for some special reasons, your original dwelling place was destroyed. But I took the seeds of the fruits used to make the Fool’s Dream Drink back then, and I’m currently trying to cultivate them. Only when those seeds can be mass-produced can we truly replicate it.”

”So that’s how it is. It’s okay, we can wait slowly. Anyway, thank you, Big Sis Little Han, for telling me this!”

”No problem, I just thought it would be good for you to know some things.”

Of course, I wouldn’t tell them what they couldn’t understand.

I would naturally let them inherit things that were valuable to them, but bad things should stay in the past.

”Little Han, this is for you.”

At this, Big Sis Bai returned the tray to Yu Meng, took her own coffee, and pushed the dessert on top towards me.

”Thank you.”

I didn’t decline and accepted the mousse cake.

Yu Meng then left with small steps, carrying a tray almost as big as herself.

Watching Yu Meng leave, my gaze fell upon the mousse cake in front of me.

”Big Sis Bai…”

”Mm, what is it?”

”It’s just… when is Big Sis Bai leaving?”

”Mm… probably in two days. After settling all the academy matters, handling all the miscellaneous tasks, and the graduation procedures… there’s quite a lot to do,” Big Sis Bai said after a moment of thought.

”Sorry, it seems I won’t have time to accompany you for a while.”

”Why are you apologizing? It’s good that Big Sis Bai has her own things to be busy with, isn’t it?”

”Really?”

Big Sis Bai smiled as she looked at me, as if seeking confirmation.

”Uh… fine, fine… it’s still a little…”

I turned my head away, not daring to meet Big Sis Bai’s eyes.

Before, it was fine if I didn’t see Big Sis Bai for days or even weeks, but now… sure enough, what I was worried about wasn’t not seeing Big Sis Bai, but not being able to see her again.

”That’s right, isn’t it better to just say it?”

”Mm.”

I nodded, but then thought of something.

”Oh, Big Sis Bai, they say every senior sister who graduates from Witch Academy can leave behind a Witch’s Secret Realm. Did you leave one, Big Sis Bai?”

”Witch’s Secret Realm… Oh, I seem to have forgotten about it. But it’s not compulsory to leave a Witch’s Secret Realm, after all, an additional spatial cut to create a secret realm is also a considerable cost.”

”Huh? Cut space? Big Sis Bai can already do something like that?!”

I widened my eyes in surprise.

”How should I put it? When I advanced to Transcendent, Little Han, you know about the True Five Senses, right? And True Time?”

”Mm, mm,” I nodded quickly.

”True Time is a more real world. Any action in True Time will produce a corresponding phenomenon in False Time, at least that’s how I understand it. When you reach True Time, you will understand that the attribute of space is actually a very fragile existence. To me, it’s like water; without external interference, it remains stable and still, but if I reach out, I can freely manipulate it. Roughly… that’s what it means.”

”Is that so…”

”Yes, remember the concept of True Five Senses? It’s like your Spirit Vision. Take touch as an example, True Touch gives me tactile perception that even allows me to feel the ripples of space. Because of this ability, I can confirm that Transcendent-level beings can basically tear space at will. True Touch is the foundation for tearing space with bare hands; it’s no longer a sense of touch in the general meaning.”

”The True Time and False Time’s impact on my five senses: False Time focuses more on feelings – sight, hearing… the emphasis is on ’feeling.’ True Time, however, emphasizes the first character of each of the five senses: ’sight,’ ’hearing,’ ’smell,’ ’taste,’ ’touch.’ It’s closer to the concept of the essence of perception.”

”Bare hands… tearing space!”

I subconsciously swallowed, my attention still more focused on tearing space, but I also silently memorized the explanation about True Time and False Time.

Although I had anticipated space being a relatively fragile existence, the idea of Transcendent beings tearing space with their bare hands was simply too horrifying.

”Yes, but after tearing space, it’s not just simply tearing open a spatial channel. It can even provoke a spatial backlash. The torn space is full of danger; even if I were to enter it now, I would die without a trace.”

”Oh… that’s somewhat acceptable.”

I breathed a sigh of relief at this moment.

Space finally retained its last shred of dignity; otherwise, it would have become a soft persimmon that any Transcendent could knead at will.

However, this reminded me of the rift that was torn when that Grand Spellbook was formed.

That was also equally dangerous.

”So Big Sis Bai doesn’t plan to leave a Witch’s Secret Realm, is that right?”

”Mm, mainly because I don’t have the energy, and of course, not the financial means either. Perhaps when I become successful later, I can make up for it.”

”When Big Sis Bai becomes successful later, remember to take care of me… I’ll be waiting for Big Sis Bai, and then I’ll just eat and wait to die…”

”Is that so? I don’t think Little Han is the type to just eat and wait to die. Besides… witches have long lifespans, waiting to die can be a very boring activity, you know?”

”If Big Sis Bai is with me… it won’t be boring then.”

I picked up a small spoon, gently scooped a bit of mousse cake, and then extended it to Big Sis Bai’s mouth.

”Is that what you think, Little Han?”

Bai Yu looked at my outstretched hand.

How could she not understand the implied meaning?

But she still subconsciously opened her mouth and took the cake that was brought to her lips.

”Mm,” I nodded softly.

After seeing Big Sis Bai eat that bite of cake, the smile on my face widened.

I gently withdrew the spoon from between her lips.

Then I pulled my hand back, gently scooped another spoonful, and, taking advantage of the lingering warmth and moisture, put it into my own mouth.

”Mm… it tastes really good.”

I whispered, not knowing what exactly I meant by ”tastes good.”

”Ahem…”

Bai Yu looked at my still-reminiscing expression and cleared her throat.

”Little Han, who taught you to be like this?”

”I learned it myself, Big Sis Bai. Your taste is also very good.”

”Little Han, are you asking for a spanking?”

Bai Yu asked with a feigned angry expression.

”Mm Mm Actually, Big Sis Bai could be more direct… does it always have to wait until the very end to realize it’s too late?”

”Alright, Little Han, this kind of topic isn’t suitable for this place,” Big Sis Bai whispered to me, lowering her voice.

”Uh? So it’s fine when the time is right? Then… Big Sis Bai… on the last night before you leave… how about I sleep over at your place?”

”No!”

”Huh? But… I’ve never been to Big Sis Bai’s place… Big Sis Bai has already slept in my bed, but I haven’t slept in Big Sis Bai’s bed yet, huh…”

I said, feigning sadness.

”I know what you’re trying to do, Little Han, I’m not leaving for long, are you so impatient to give yourself away?”

”Give myself away? What giving myself away?”

I feigned ignorance, as if we were on different wavelengths.

”I just want to have a good emotional exchange and say goodbye with Big Sis Bai in the same bed… and also make up for the regret of Big Sis Bai running away halfway through sleeping with me back then.”

”Is that so?”

A momentary crack appeared on Big Sis Bai’s face, but I still caught it.

”Yes, what else did Big Sis Bai think? Could it be… you were thinking naughty thoughts? Giving myself away? So… Big Sis Bai likes that kind of thing.”

”No! You’re overthinking it!”

At this, Big Sis Bai quickly argued, her face flushed with embarrassment.

”Is that so? What a pity… Actually, naughty things aren’t impossible…”

My hand subconsciously brushed my lower abdomen, and a warm current flowed through.

Although I could control this bodily instinct, I still let my body follow its instincts.

”I’ve actually been abstaining for a long time too… Ha… haha, just kidding, Big Sis Bai, don’t take it seriously.”

I looked at Big Sis Bai’s expression and quickly realized I had gone too far, so I quickly explained, and even the heat that had risen there instantly extinguished.

”Little Han, you haven’t been too frequent when you have nothing to do, have you? Although this is inevitable for girls, such things shouldn’t be too frequent.”

”Mm… Although I don’t want to admit it… I want to say, not even once…”

”I hope so… girls still need to pay attention to their bodies, don’t overexert yourself too much… hmm?”

In the end, Bai Yu still didn’t know what to say, after all, such things couldn’t be said openly.

She only hoped Little Han would be more self-aware.

But at this moment, Bai Yu noticed that there was a black leather collar on my fair and delicate neck.

Of course, it wasn’t the kinky kind, just decorative, and not very conspicuous, otherwise Bai Yu wouldn’t have just noticed it now.

”Little Han, that thing on your neck…”

”A collar, what about it?”

”Why would you suddenly decide to wear this?”

”If not this, then what? Thigh straps? Actually, I’m wearing those too, want to see?”

As I spoke, I grabbed the hem of my skirt, wanting to lift it up.

”Wait! Stop!”

”What’s wrong?”

”Alright.”

Bai Yu paused to collect herself.

She hadn’t expected Little Han to have such a teasing side.

Was she being teased by Little Han again?

Just as Bai Yu was taking a breather during this interval, a clinking sound echoed in front of her.

She looked closely and saw that it was the collar that had been on my neck, now unfastened.

”Little Han, you…”

”If Big Sis Bai doesn’t like it, I can take it off. If Big Sis Bai doesn’t mind, then please put it back on me yourself.”

At this moment, I rested my chin on my hands, smiling at Big Sis Bai, leaning forward, pressing my entire body onto the tabletop, just to be closer to Big Sis Bai.

”This…”

Bai Yu subconsciously picked up the collar.

It still held the residual warmth from my neck.

And in the next moment, on the wall of my half-drunk coffee cup, there was a crack, and a fissure appeared.

Coffee seeped out from the crack, flowing onto the tray below.

And the indoor lighting lamp decorating above my head flickered once and then extinguished.

The table I was leaning on groaned at this moment, seemingly unable to bear the weight.

I no longer leaned, but sat up straight, snapping my fingers to reinforce the table and chair with a spell.

”What was this?!”

This time it was Bai Yu’s turn to be shocked.

What was with that series of events just now?

But she quickly reacted, remembering what she was told when she severed the Earth Vein Chains… the Curse of Misfortune!

She was already a Transcendent and could easily ignore such a curse, but Little Han could not.

”It’s the Curse of Misfortune. If Big Sis Bai doesn’t quickly put the collar back on me, I might encounter danger at any moment.”

I explained with a smile.

This collar was a very high-grade alchemy item given to me by the Academy Head, a good thing for suppressing curses.

Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to bear the Curse of Misfortune.

Didn’t you see how many things happened just in this short time after I took it off?

If this became my daily life, I’m afraid I’d be driven insane.

”This…”

”It’s an alchemy item that suppresses the Curse of Misfortune bestowed by the World Consciousness.”

”I know, but…”

”It’s a rare opportunity, doesn’t Big Sis Bai want to experience the feeling of putting a collar around my neck with your own hands? It’s wonderful.”

”Sigh… next time, say these things earlier…”

Bai Yu helplessly picked up the collar, stood up, and came over to me.

”I just purely wanted to experience the feeling of Big Sis Bai putting it on me herself, just like Big Sis Bai personally put on my thigh strap before.”
