Apocalyptic Flood: Sexy Beauty Neighbor's Midnight Plea for Food

Chapter 1111: Chapter 456: Automatic Fish-Slaughtering Machine

”It worked!”

Liang Yuan’s face was beaming with happiness, filled with delight.

Using the skill [Damage Transfer], he finally resolved the issue of having to personally kill the fish.

He connected the causality of the blade with his own causality.

The damage dealt by the blade could be considered as damage dealt by himself!

Thus, the system would determine that he killed the fish, and naturally, the points would belong to him!

”Mr. Liang, I’ve finished killing.”

Chen Hao deftly finished processing the mutant fish and quickly looked at Liang Yuan.

Liang Yuan snapped back, glanced at the mutant fish, which was neatly handled, its scales completely removed, and its guts were excavated.

The fish bladder, fish oil, and such were well sorted.

The whole process was very swift; it seems Chen Hao truly is a seasoned fish butcher.

Liang Yuan said with a smile, ”Not bad, you’re indeed very skilled. How many can you kill each day?”

Upon hearing this, Chen Hao replied, ”I don’t know about others, but I guarantee I can kill at least over two hundred a day.”

Liang Yuan couldn’t help but give a thumbs up and praised, ”Impressive.”

Chen Hao chuckled and said, ”I’m a Physical Class Superpower User, with good endurance and strong recovery. I can endure more than others, which is why I was hired.”

”Minister Cai thinks highly of me, saying he wants to promote me after the New Year.”

Upon hearing this, Liang Yuan instantly smiled and said, ”That’s good news, Yangshan won’t mistreat anyone with skills.”

”Do you all use these tools to kill fish?”

Liang Yuan pointed to the bone cutting saber, inquiring.

Chen Hao nodded and said, ”Mostly, but everyone thinks ordinary knives are very inconvenient. Many people, after buying knives, will go to the Weapon Factory to ask Dr. Yang for enchantment to increase sharpness.”

”Enchantment?” Liang Yuan was dumbfounded.

Chen Hao scratched his head and laughed, ”Dr. Yang’s ability is to add the [Sharp] attribute to weapons, and everyone calls this enchantment.”

Liang Yuan suddenly realized, Shenmin Yang is now not only developing drugs in the hospital but also does ’enchantment’ work at the Weapon Factory whenever he has time.

Chen Hao continued, ”But now everyone with points has stopped using these tools; they’ve all gone to purchase better superpower knives.”

”Especially metal attribute knives, they are not only sharper but also more durable.”

Chen Hao seems to be a gaming enthusiast; whenever he speaks, it’s either enchantment or durability.

Liang Yuan frowned and asked, ”Aren’t these tools provided by the slaughterhouse? Do you really have to spend your own points to buy them?”

Chen Hao was momentarily speechless, not sure how to respond to Liang Yuan.

Just then, Cai Zhi hurried over upon receiving the news.

From afar, he shouted, ”Liang Yuan, why didn’t you come to me when you arrived?”

Liang Yuan turned to look at Cai Zhi, without a smile on his face, and said, ”Minister Cai, I’m just passing by to have a look.”

Cai Zhi’s heart skipped a beat upon hearing ”Minister Cai.”

He quickly showed a tense expression and said, ”Mr... Mr. Liang, welcome to inspect.”

Liang Yuan ignored his change in behavior and asked, ”Minister Cai, I see our slaughterhouse actually requires them to spend their own points to purchase knives to butcher mutated creatures? What’s the reason for this? Shouldn’t these knives be specifically equipped by the slaughterhouse?”

Upon hearing this, Cai Zhi quickly started explaining, ”Mr. Liang, you’ve misunderstood. We actually supplied iron knives before.”

”With such poor sharpness, can iron knives break the scales of these mutant fish?” Liang Yuan asked.

Cai Zhi hurriedly said, ”It’s quite laborious; later, our department also held meetings to plan to phase out iron knives and switch to superpower weapons.”

”However, regarding this matter, I later negotiated with the Weapon Factory. They provided me with a new solution, saying they could offer our slaughterhouse automatic fish-killing and descaling machines, which can greatly save our manpower.”

”Since this plan is still being discussed, I didn’t rush to order new knives.”

Upon hearing this, Liang Yuan was intrigued, ”There’s a machine like this?”

”The Weapon Factory says they can produce it and can ship it over in a few days,” Cai Zhi quickly said.

Liang Yuan was slightly moved; if such a machine exists.

Then connecting the causality line with this machine means all the mutated fish it kills would essentially be killed by him, right?

He only needs to link a causality line.

”What about the mutant beasts sent from the breeding farm? How do you handle them?”

”We’ve also negotiated with the Weapon Factory; there are specialized machines to help with the killing, and they can also pluck the fur.”

”However, as you instructed, all of these should be left for you to handle personally, so I told them to specifically separate the killing and processing into two procedures.”

Liang Yuan immediately said, ”Let’s go to the Weapon Factory to see these machines.”

”Sure, I’ll go right now.” Cai Zhi nodded promptly.

The two quickly headed towards the Weapon Factory.

With no outsiders around along the way, Liang Yuan’s stern face relaxed, and he smiled, ”Brother Cai, sorry for earlier; in public places, we can’t casually talk about personal relationships. I must set an example for others.”

Upon hearing this, Cai Zhi also let out a slight breath of relief and quickly smiled, ”My fault for not differentiating the occasion.”

Liang Yuan then asked some questions about Cai Yao, bridging the gap between them and easing the previous tension.

However, through this bit of pushing and pulling, Cai Zhi became more cautious, no longer as carefree.

The two arrived at the Weapon Factory, and soon one of the key persons in charge at the Weapon Factory, Qi Delong, approached.

This weapons factory is mainly entrusted to the Research Department’s Ren Jie.

Ren Jie is a survivor from Sunshine New City, originally a senior machinist, with many ideas and creativity in weapon forging.

Appointed by Liang Yuan to open the weapons factory and serve as the director, he naturally employed several people from Sunshine New City.

Qi Delong, Yan Congjun, Yu Feng, and Li Xiaojun all came from Sunshine New City.

Nowadays, these people are mostly employed at the weapons factory.

Qi Delong and the others are all retired soldiers, and Liang Yuan also trusts these people, so he approved such appointments.

Upon seeing Liang Yuan, Qi Delong quickly said: ”Mr. Liang, welcome, welcome, please come in.”

Liang Yuan replied with a smile: ”I heard the slaughterhouse customized an automatic fish-killing machine from you, so I came to check it out.”

Cai Zhi also quickly added: ”Old Qi, you said last time the machine would be ready soon. When will it be ready?”

Qi Delong promptly replied: ”It’s basically assembled. This time, we’ve adopted many superpower module components for this machine; it’s very effective for slaughtering both scaley and feathery creatures.”

”Follow me.”

He actively led the way, taking Liang Yuan and the others into the weapons factory.

Soon Qi Delong led Liang Yuan and Cai Zhi to a large machine.

The machine is about two meters high, made of steel, resembling the automatic fish-killing machines before the great flood.

Qi Delong introduced, ”This automatic slaughter machine was conceived by one of our factory’s design department technicians, who used to sell these things on Pinduoduo and is quite familiar with the principles.”

”Let me demonstrate for you.”

Qi Delong turned and shouted, ”Someone get a fish over here.”

Liang Yuan said, ”I have one; no need to look.”

He directly took out a fish that had already been killed from the item compartment.

Although the fish was dead, its scales and belly were not cleaned.

Qi Delong laughed: ”Let me show you.”

As he spoke, he placed the fish into a large circular entrance.

Then, he started the machine, which immediately roared to life.

Two mechanical arms protruded, clamping the fish’s head and tail, sending it into the machine.

Amidst the roaring sound, many fish scales and splashes of water spewed out from below the machine.

Within seconds, the fish scales were expelled, followed by some fish guts.

Soon, a fully-processed fish emerged from the conveyor belt at the back.

Qi Delong immediately grabbed the fish, laughing: ”Mr. Liang, look.”

Liang Yuan took the fish; the scales had been completely cleaned, the belly and back were slit open, and the guts had been emptied.

Moreover, it’s extremely well-rinsed.

Liang Yuan was amazed and asked: ”Even the black membrane inside the fish’s belly was washed away?”

Liang Yuan knew that cleaning fish involves not only scaling but also dealing with the guts and the difficult-to-clean black membrane inside.

Qi Delong laughed: ”We’ve installed high-pressure water guns in the machine; even stubborn black membrane slime can’t withstand the cleaning.”

Liang Yuan realized, and then Qi Delong began demonstrating the chicken-plucking machine’s features.

This is another function; a Red Chicken raised at Martial King Pavilion was tossed inside, first fixed onto the board, then the chicken’s neck was slit open, lifted upside down by the mechanical arm to start bleeding.

About thirty seconds later, it was sent inside the machine, then Liang Yuan heard the machine roar and a large amount of steaming hot water poured in.

A moment later, the chicken emerged completely plucked.

Even the internal organs were stripped out, falling into the plate below the machine.

Qi Delong said: ”Mr. Liang, for now, the internal organs are still a bit tricky to handle and require manual selection.”

Liang Yuan’s eyes revealed a look of surprise: ”Not bad, very impressive, this invention is quite interesting.”

Cai Zhi was also overjoyed: ”This really solves a big problem for our slaughterhouse.”

”It saves a lot of manual labor, allowing us to do more.”

Liang Yuan immediately decided: ”Brother Cai, let the slaughterhouse purchase these machines. Given our slaughterhouse’s daily scale of chicken and fish slaughter, how many do you think we need?”

”Two or three machines would suffice. The population of Yangshan isn’t that large, so the daily consumption of fish and chicken is limited.”

”The main concern is the mutant fish; once caught, they need to be processed immediately or they might perish.”

”But after processing, if cured or dried, they don’t taste very good.”

Liang Yuan laughed: ”You don’t need to worry about that; slaughter as much as you can; don’t worry about the taste. If we don’t eat it, we can sell it to the ships coming to the port for trading.”

Cai Zhi’s eyes lit up immediately, exclaiming: ”Yes, why didn’t I think of that; people outside have trouble even getting full, and cured food is much easier to preserve, it should sell well.”

Liang Yuan chuckled, and then the few of them discussed further, deciding to purchase three automated slaughter machines.

The weapons factory needs production time and can only deliver one machine in the short term.

Liang Yuan, however, was delighted; what he plans to do next is to link the causality line to this machine.

This way, any damage caused by this machine can be considered as his damage.

Later, the slaughterhouse won’t require him to personally handle fish.

Every day, he can continuously accumulate points.

”I also need to test if this causality line has range limits; if I’m not at Yangshan, and am too far away, will the causality line no longer function?”
