Apocalyptic Flood: Sexy Beauty Neighbor's Midnight Plea for Food

Chapter 915: Chapter 342: Qiu Yingyue (Part 3)

Under his influence, she gradually awakened her lightning superpower.

One day, while out searching for supplies, her father never returned.

At that time, the entire building was in a state of panic, with many people eager to overthrow her father’s rule.

She had no choice but to step forward and reveal her lightning superpower.

With the Rune Technology and Superpower Stones her father left behind, she gathered a group of people and took control of the building.

Although she lost control over other parts of Lishui Garden’s fourth phase, this building was still under her command.

Afterward, she continuously sent people out to find clues about her father’s whereabouts.

Although she couldn’t find any traces of her father, she unexpectedly discovered that Linjiang University nearby still had usable ships.

She immediately decided to plot for Linjiang University’s ships, but man proposes, God disposes.

Just as she had this thought, she discovered several groups also eyeing those ships.

During the struggle for the ships, she witnessed other powerful superpower users.

Many of the people she brought were tragically killed in the floodwaters.

Only by relying on her lightning superpower and extreme speed did she manage to escape the scene.

In this struggle for the ships, she returned empty-handed and lost quite a few people.

From then on, she contentedly stayed in Lishui Garden to heal, quietly gathering strength.

In two months’ time, she finally advanced her superpower to a powerful level again.

She tapped into the potential of her lightning superpower, raising her speed to an unprecedented level.

She felt confident that if she encountered those people again, she could absolutely crush them.

During this process, she finally found news of her father and received a letter from him.

From the letter, she learned that her father had found a place called Mist City, a floating island, and planned to establish a foothold there, wanting to join Mist City.

But this required a large amount of supplies and Superpower Stones, so he needed her to cooperate from outside, helping him search for supplies and Superpower Stones to support his connections in Mist City.

At first, Qiu Yingyue didn’t believe it, but the handwriting on the letter was indeed her father’s.

Moreover, the letter included photo evidence.

The photos showed a gigantic icy city, with her father and a group of people photographed at the city gate.

The city was imposing and tall, with many soldiers patrolling back and forth.

At the city gate, there were also guards in down jackets keeping watch.

Inside the city, it seemed there were various ice-sculpted buildings, surrounded by a thin layer of mist, making it impossible to see clearly.

What shocked Qiu Yingyue even more was that the messenger was not human, but a mutant fish.

After delivering the letter, the mutant fish vanished into the water.

The letter said it would come to collect supplies in three days.

Though skeptical, Qiu Yingyue prepared some supplies and placed them at the designated spot.

Three days later, a big fish emerged from the floodwaters, swallowed the supplies, and disappeared without a word.

From then on, about once a week, a big fish would come to collect supplies.

Her father’s letters would also arrive punctually.

The letters described the floating ice island in more detail.

Qiu Yingyue, determined to uncover the truth, personally followed the big fish and found the so-called Mist City.

Its location was approximately fifteen kilometers away, in a peculiar flooded area shrouded in immense fog, obscuring a vast area, so large that the end couldn’t be seen.

It seemed to cover the sky and earth.

Qiu Yingyue did not dare to enter, instead choosing to return and devise a strategy.

Now she finally resolved to venture into the mist and discover the truth!

”Knock knock knock—”

Just as her thoughts were drifting, there was a sudden urgent knock at the door.

Qiu Yingyue frowned slightly, put away the photos, and said, ”Come in.”

She saw Lin Wu hurriedly push the door open and urgently say, ”Sister Qiu, the brothers on rooftop watch sent word that a cargo ship has arrived outside our community!”
