The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

Returning to the private room.

After sitting down, Liu Yuqing directly turned to stare at Fu Yu, with a look of disbelief and surprise in her eyes.

To be honest, she was as enthusiastic just now as she is surprised now.

That’s right!

She actually always thought that Fu Yu was just a simple and hardworking chef, maybe with a talent for cooking.

But unexpectedly, Fu Yu was full of hidden talents.

Although her own family is quite wealthy as well, she never knows exactly how much annual income a few shops generate, or how much savings the family has.

These things have always been managed and controlled by Liu Yunong, while Liu Yuqing just receives pocket money from her sister every month.

Even if her sister is generous, she actually only has one card at hand, with a guarantee of tens of thousands of liquid funds in it.

So, upon realizing that Fu Yu might earn more than a million in just a few months.

This matter still made Liu Yuqing feel incredibly shocked!

In Bei’an, who can earn so much money!

Liu Yuqing increasingly found that this guy Fu Yu has always been acting coy.

She was genuinely amazed by Fu Yu.

Indeed!

Last time when they went to Da Shi Jie, it seemed Fu Yu was planning to renovate a newly bought house, but she mistakenly thought he was just renting an apartment.

She even considered asking her sister to buy a house to ease Fu Yu’s burden.

Unexpectedly, he can casually buy a house in just a few months...

Liu Yuqing finally understood Liu Shaoxian’s words; henceforth, her sister really doesn’t need to worry about beauty remedies...

After the meal was almost finished, the boss lady specially sent over two servings of the restaurant’s specialty desserts.

The following chit-chat was extremely enjoyable.

The three of them felt very comfortable.

Liu Yuqing very cleverly took the initiative to serve tea and pour water for Fu Yu, being incredibly considerate.

Seeing this, Liu Yunong kept rolling her eyes, thinking this brat truly doesn’t know how to hold back, seeing her eager attitude really... makes one feel stifled!

Clearly, she has always cherished her sister like a precious gem, fearing it would break in her hands or melt in her mouth.

Yet now, she gleefully goes about pandering to others.

This bittersweet feeling truly is... sigh...

With Liu Yunong glaring at him one eye after another, Fu Yu couldn’t pretend not to notice even if he wanted to.

This feeling of being pricked is almost impossible to ignore.

Taking advantage of the time to eat dessert, Fu Yu quickly flipped through two pages of the anti-freckle medicinal diet recipes, then actively started discussing customizing anti-freckle medicinal diets with Liu Yunong.

When it comes to beauty topics, Liu Yunong quickly changed her attitude.

The two carefully discussed the medicinal diet for reducing wrinkles and fine lines, as well as the details of ingredient pairing for cooking.

Facing Liu Yunong, Fu Yu was very patient, carefully explaining the properties of the medicinal diets and highlighting the advantages and drawbacks of the most suitable medicinal herbs.

The two got engrossed in the discussion, and they even agreed on a time to design a complete medicinal diet therapy session for Liu Yunong.

Besides reducing fine lines and freckles, they also planned to adjust her bodily health well.

Liu Yunong became increasingly excited and happy as she listened.

Seeing her sister pleased, Liu Yuqing felt happy too.

By the end of the meal, the three had developed a genuine familial closeness.

...

Upon leaving the restaurant, for the sake of courtesy, Liu Yunong specially took Fu Yu and Liu Yuqing over to bid farewell to Liu Shaoxian and the others.

Liu Shaoxian’s plan was to return to the provincial city the day after tomorrow, so Liu Yunong promptly suggested organizing a farewell lunch for him tomorrow noon.

On the day of departure, Liu Shaoxian would surely dine with close friends.

Liu Shaoxian readily agreed, and he pulled Fu Yu aside with some advice, telling him to keep in touch often.

The boss lady and her family personally escorted them to the restaurant entrance, watching them get into the car before turning back in.

Sitting in the car, Liu Yunong drove by herself, while Liu Yuqing squeezed into the back with Fu Yu.

In a spot hidden from the rearview mirror, the two secretly held hands.

Liu Yuqing glanced at Fu Yu lovingly, her sweet expression of romance was simply impossible to hide.

Liu Yunong glanced at the rearview mirror, her brows furrowing unconsciously, yet upon seeing their happiness, she thought for a moment and softened her expression.

She needed to somewhat control her motherly attitude towards her sister now.

After all, she was quite satisfied with Fu Yu, the potential future brother-in-law.

If they truly end up marrying and living together, she would be quite pleased to see it happen.

However, in terms of mindset, she somewhat struggled to adapt, yet presumably with more time she would gradually accept it.

Having sorted her thoughts out, Liu Yunong felt noticeably better about her initial pangs.

Because she could naturally inquire about their plans soon.

The time was still early, so as it’s a date, certainly they would wish to spend more time together, go for walks or shopping.

Given their jobs are usually busy, opportunities for such leisurely days are very rare.

Liu Yunong could fully relate, and upon knowing their plans, drove them directly to the site.

Upon exiting the car, Liu Yuqing cheerfully said goodbye to her sister.

Fu Yu quickly assured, ”Sister, I’ll bring her back tonight.”

Liu Yunong, looking at her excited sister, couldn’t help but smile: ”Alright, you two have a good time.”

They watched as Liu Yunong drove away in the car, finally able to openly hold hands and go on their date.

Having just finished eating, they were momentarily unsure of where to go, so they casually strolled down the street, chatting as they went.
