The Cheat Emperor of the Culinary World

Sure enough, when Fu Yu saw Liu Yunong helping him to build connections, a warm feeling surged in his heart.

Because Liu Yunong could have easily introduced Fu Yu as her apprentice and still gained people’s respect.

But introducing Fu Yu as Liu Yuqing’s boyfriend brought their relationship closer.

Liu Yunong is the heir to the Liu Family Cuisine, owner of the Shangshi Restaurant chain, a slightly renowned female chef in the circle.

Her family business is indeed substantial, not to be underestimated.

Now, introducing Fu Yu in front of outsiders in this way is a kind of recognition of him.

Moreover, it’s a subtle way to introduce Fu Yu’s identity.

If he learns to cook with Liu Yunong and is Liu Yuqing’s boyfriend, if he starts a family in the future, Fu Yu would undoubtedly become the new heir of the Liu Family Cuisine.

When Liu Shaoxian heard this, he immediately smiled, ”So, Xiaofu and Xiaoqing are together? Yunong, having such an outstanding and excellent brother-in-law will surely lighten your burden in the future!”

Liu Shaoxian’s words made Liu Yunong smile, but she didn’t take it to heart.

After all... such polite words shouldn’t be taken seriously; when acquaintances meet, they must compliment each other.

However, knowing this, she couldn’t help but feel a bit proud inside.

Fu Yu is bound to have great prospects in the future, especially with her as his mentor. In Bei’an’s culinary scene, even if not reaching the pinnacle, he will certainly have a successful career.

Liu Yunong took Fu Yu and Liu Yuqing to toast the three elders, exchanging pleasantries.

At this point, it was mealtime, and the restaurant was busy, so the serving speed was somewhat slow.

Since Liu Yunong was already seated, she couldn’t leave immediately, so she skillfully started to find topics to chat and get closer to the three elders.

Liu Yuqing listened from the side, feeling anxious. Finally, she seized the opportunity while her sister got up to pour wine for the elders and hurriedly asked Liu Shaoxian for advice: ”Uncle Liu, my sister wants to treat the fine lines on her face and remove skin spots. I’ve heard that medicinal cuisine is quite effective for this. Since I’ve met you, can medicinal cuisine really treat fine lines and remove spots?”

Liu Yunong, after pouring the wine, also turned to look at Liu Shaoxian.

She originally intended to ask Liu Shaoxian for advice but didn’t expect Liu Yuqing to be even more proactive.

Liu Shaoxian was obviously taken aback: ”Facial fine lines and spots? Of course, medicinal cuisine can help with that.”

Liu Yuqing’s eyes lit up when she heard this and seriously asked, ”Uncle Liu, do you know any good medicinal cuisine chefs? Could you recommend one?”

Liu Shaoxian and Xiao Jiping exchanged a glance and curiously asked, ”Xiaoqing, don’t you have someone right here? Why would you need me to help you find someone?”

Liu Yuqing was taken aback, looking a bit puzzled.

What does that mean?

”Uncle Liu, what do you mean?”

Liu Shaoxian, looking at her confused expression, said in surprise, ”You don’t know, do you?”

Liu Yuqing: ”Know what?”

Liu Shaoxian couldn’t help but say, ”Xiaofu’s medicinal cuisine banquets are quite famous in the upper circles of Bei’an. Many people specifically seek him out to customize medicinal cuisine.”

With this one statement, Liu Yuqing was left stunned.

What does that mean?

Famous?

The more Liu Yuqing listened, the more confused she became.

Fu Yu’s medicinal cuisine banquets?

Since when did Qianlima have medicinal cuisine banquets?

Her family’s restaurant doesn’t have this, does it?

Liu Yuqing looked at Liu Shaoxian with a hint of uncertainty.

Could he be mistaking someone else?

She couldn’t help but ask, ”Uncle Liu, are you saying...”

Seeing Liu Yuqing’s surprised expression, Liu Shaoxian finally laughed and said, ”Yes, Xiaoqing, it seems you really didn’t know!”

”Xiaofu is the head chef for medicinal cuisine banquets at the music restaurant, and his business is very successful.”

”Now, to seek his custom medicinal cuisine banquets, you have to book in advance, and the cost is not cheap. It’s probably the first of its kind in Bei’an with such a high price, right? A complete course of his medicinal cuisine banquets starts at a minimum of 200,000. I previously went over to observe; he easily manages to handle five customers’ custom medicinal cuisine banquets in a day, which means he makes over a million just like that!”

”In Bei’an’s medicinal cuisine circle, Xiaofu is quite famous. Those who seek his custom medicinal cuisine services are all upper-class individuals.”

”By the way, earlier, I went to the music restaurant with your sister and Uncle Xiao to observe Xiaofu cooking medicinal cuisine. I’m planning to invite him to join our research community as a consultant to assist me in completing the project group tasks.”

”If we could successfully complete this project, it would play a very important role in advancing our country’s entire medicinal cuisine industry.”

At this point, Liu Shaoxian couldn’t help but feel emotional, ”That’s why I said, why look far afield when there’s someone right here? Why ask me to contact outsiders when you have such a professional medicinal cuisine chef at your disposal?”

These words left Liu Yuqing completely stunned!

She turned to Fu Yu, looking a bit incredulous.

Oh my!

Just one custom medicinal cuisine order can earn a minimum of 200,000?

Even if a full course takes half a year, that’s over a million in half a year. How is this earning money? It’s practically printing money.

Moreover, wouldn’t such a custom medicinal cuisine banquet serve more than five customers in half a year?
