Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 297: Someoneʼs framing me!

Victor, who had been silently observing the exchange, interjected, his voice sharp and accusatory, ”And what exactly do you intend to discuss with the victim?”

Alaricʼs lips twitched in irritation at the interruption, but he quickly masked his annoyance with a tight smile and before he could respond, Victor continued,

”Are you a therapist?

No, right?

Then thereʼs no need for you to interfere after the Principal herself has handled the matter,”

Alaric clenched his teeth, feeling the conversation slipping from his control. Just as he was about to argue further,

Victor leaned forward with a grin, his eyes glinting with mischief. ”Or... are you trying to help your... Professor?” Victorʼs tone was dripping with insinuation, his words a carefully aimed barb.

Alaricʼs eyes widened in surprise and outrage, ”No, Principal! Iʼm not siding with a molester. I simply want to uncover the truth!” he exclaimed, turning to the Principal with a desperate plea.

His voice was earnest, but beneath it lay a seething fury directed at Victor.

The Principal looked between Victor and Alaric, her expression inscrutable. There was a moment of silence, before ”I believe you, Alaric. However, as Iʼve said, I cannot share the details with anyone that includes you,” she finally said, her tone measured and firm.

Alaric sighed, a mix of relief and frustration washing over him. He was about to thank the Principal and leave when Victorʼs voice cut through the air once more,

”Oh, but I do know...” Victorʼs smirk widened, his eyes flickering with amusement. ”It seems the Principal trusts me more than the Vice-Principal,” he muttered, loud enough for everyone to hear.

The Principalʼs eyes narrowed, her gaze shifting to Victor with a hint of displeasure.

Alaric, on the other hand, felt a surge of disbelief and anger.... no, not because of Victorʼs words... Maybe a little but more importantly,

Victorʼs thigh was now subtly touching and tapping against the Principalʼs.

Fury surged through him, his body tensing with rage. Veins bulged on his forehead and arms as he clenched his fists, barely holding back the urge to lash out. ”Have a nice day!” he spat out through gritted teeth, before storming out of the room, his footsteps echoing with anger.

As the door closed behind him, Victor wore a satisfied smile, as if heʼd won some great victory.

The Principal, however, was not amused,

”Ouch!” Victor winced as the Principal pinched his thigh, her eyes flashing with annoyance.

”You have quite a nerve, annoying an Arcane King... Do you have a death wish?” she scolded, her voice low and dangerous, a clear warning in her tone.

Victor shrugged, his expression nonchalant. ”Heʼs the one...”

”Hmm?”

”Heʼs the one who I fought before and... almost died!”

Principalʼs eyes widened in big surprise,

Meanwhile,

Alaric marched through the academyʼs corridors, his mind a whirlwind of anger and frustration. Each step felt heavy, laden with the weight of his seething emotions,

”That lowly being! Just because you have her recognition doesnʼt mean you can touch her so casually, you filthy wretch!” he seethed, his voice a low growl of barely controlled rage. The image of Victorʼs leg on the Principal, so casual, replayed in his mind, fueling his anger further.

He clenched his teeth, his fists shaking with barely restrained fury, ”Just you wait... Iʼll make sure neither you nor that filthy servant will remain in this world or any other!” he muttered darkly, his voice a venomous whisper..... The taste of blood filled his mouth as he bit down on his lip, his rage so intense it was almost palpable.

As he reached the academyʼs prison, Alaricʼs eyes burned with a cold fury. He strode purposefully towards a particular cell.... where a baldy middle-aged man wearing glasses.... Professor Kennedy awaited.

The manʼs face lit up with a hopeful expression as he saw Alaric approaching, his hands clutching the bars of the cell.

”V-Vice Principal! Have you found out who it is?” Kennedy asked eagerly, desperation clear in his voice. There was a gleam of hope in his eyes, as if Alaricʼs presence could somehow change his fate.

Alaric stood just outside the cell, his expression unreadable. He shook his head slowly, his voice carrying a note of finality. ”No, it seems the Principal isnʼt interested in sharing anything,” he said, his tone cold and detached.

Kennedyʼs face twisted with anger and disbelief, ”That fucking bit—aarrrhhh!” His insult was cut short as Alaricʼs hand shot through the bars, gripping his throat with a vice-like grip. Kennedyʼs eyes bulged in shock and fear, his hands scrabbling at Alaricʼs arm in a futile attempt to free himself.

”What?” Alaricʼs voice was icy, his eyes locked onto Kennedyʼs with a chilling intensity.

”N-No, ʼcoughʼ coughʼ arrrhhh---thing,” Kennedy choked out, his voice barely a whisper as he struggled to breathe. His face was pale, eyes wide with terror as he felt the strength of Alaricʼs grip.

Alaric tightened his grip for a moment longer, his eyes never leaving Kennedyʼs. Then, with a look of disdain, he released the man, who collapsed to the floor, gasping for air.

”Cough, Cough”

Kennedy coughed violently, tears and snot running down his face as he struggled to regain his breath.

”V-Vice Principal, please believe me! I didnʼt do it! Someoneʼs framing me! If you bring the girl to me, I can make her tell the truth! Youʼre the only one who can help me...” Kennedyʼs voice was desperate, his eyes pleading as he looked up at Alaric from the floor.

Alaricʼs expression remained cold and distant, his eyes hard as stone. He shook his head slowly, a look of disappointment crossing his face, ”Iʼm sorry, but the Principal is personally handling the investigation. Thereʼs nothing I can do,” he said, his voice emotionless as he turned to leave. Read new adventures at m_v-lʼe|-

”V-Vice Principal?!” Kennedyʼs voice was filled with disbelief and betrayal, ”You... you how dare you! I helped you every time you asked, created numerous crystals, and did all the dirty work... and this is how you repay me? Bastard! You filthy bastard!” Kennedy screamed after him, his voice echoing down the cold, stone corridors.

Alaric walked away, a small, content smile playing on his lips...

But then,
