Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 293: Eunuch or a brain-dead MC

Aqualina lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling with an indescribable expression. The events of the day played back in her mind.... To be honest, She was genuinely shocked by what she had witnessed.

She never imagined Kai would act so impulsively, kissing a random girl without any regard for his commitments.

ʼI suppose humans do change...ʼ Aqualina muttered to herself, feeling a strange mix of emotions.

There was anger, disappointment... Thatʼs all!

Her thoughts drifted to Lia, who had appeared at the scene and couldnʼt contain her laughter.

ʼThat bloodsucker laughing her ass off...ʼ Aqualina thought with an annoyed expression.

However, she couldnʼt deny that Kaiʼs actions had given her an unexpected opportunity.

Kaiʼs impulsiveness helped her to achieve what she wanted... So she was a little grateful for Kaiʼs impulse act!

She was really happy that she found a way to execute her plan.

Aqualina smiled slyly to herself, a plan forming in her mind. ʼHehe... soon everything will fall into my hands...ʼ She chuckled, the sound low and sinister, like a true villainess basking in the anticipation of her schemes coming to fruition.

Thud

A sudden sound snapped her out of her thoughts.

She looked over to see Aether arranging some materials for the day. He seemed engrossed in his task, oblivious to her gaze.

Aqualina watched him intently, her thoughts shifting to something more personal and unexpected.

”I wonder what a kiss feels like...” she murmured, almost to herself. The words hung in the air, causing Aether to stop what he was doing.

He turned around, his innocent face flushed with embarrassment.

Aqualina repeated her question, her cheeks tinged with a rosy hue, ”I wonder what a kiss feels like...”

Aether, clearly flustered, stammered, ”W-Well, it feels... slippery, soft... tasty.” His face reddened further, and he looked away, clearly uncomfortable with the topic.

Aqualinaʼs eyes widened in surprise and shock... no, not because she was shocked by the Aetherʼs explanation... Maybe a little!

Anyhow, the real one was...

She couldnʼt believe how he had answered, ʼIs he serious?!ʼ she screamed inwardly, her thoughts racing.

She had expected him to be more assertive, to perhaps take the lead and show her, as she believed a man should.

Thatʼs what man was supposed to do!!

Yet.... here he was, blushing and shy, far from the boldness she had imagined.

ʼTsk, how in the world did he manage to seduce Aria with that innocence?ʼ Aqualina wondered, but as she looked at his gentle, smiling face, she felt her irritation melt away.

There was something endearing about his innocence, something that drew her in despite herself....

ʼM-Maybe... itʼs because of that innocence,ʼ she thought, her expression softening. She found herself falling for him again and again...

Clearing her throat, Aqualina spoke gently, ”Aether?”

”Hmm?”

”Could you listen to me... please?” Aqualinaʼs voice was almost pleading, a rare softness in her usually commanding tone.

”Of course!” Aether replied immediately, standing up and walking over to her. He stood beside her bed, looking down at her with concern.

Aqualina smiled and patted the space next to her, inviting him to sit. But Aether hesitated, shaking his head slightly. Aqualina sighed, feeling a mixture of frustration and affection. She decided to be more direct. ”I order you to lie beside me,” she said firmly.

”P-Princess?” Aether stammered, clearly taken aback. However, he complied, albeit reluctantly, lying down beside her.

Aqualinaʼs heart raced as she looked at him, taking in his handsome face and gentle expression.... Being this close to him made her heart skip a beat, and she felt a tumultuous mix of emotions she couldnʼt fully understand or control.

His proximity stirred something deep within her, a longing she had kept when he left her...

Suddenly, Aqualina reached out and touched Aetherʼs hand. He flinched at the unexpected contact, his instinct to pull away strong, but she held his hand tightly, not letting go. After a few moments of struggle, he relaxed, letting her hold his hand.

The warmth of his skin against hers sent shivers down her spine.

Aqualina grinned inwardly as she felt Aether slowly start to hold her hand back.

She began to tell him about the events of the day, her voice filled with emotion. ”You know, Aether... Kai... your master... he cheated on me,” she said, her eyes turning teary and sad.

Aetherʼs eyes widened in shock, ”C-Cheated on you? Master Kai?!”

”Y-Yes,” Aqualina stammered, her expression pained as she fought back tears.

Seeing her pained expression, Aether tightened his hold on her, his own emotions swirling. The sight of her suffering ignited a fierce protectiveness within him.

Aqualinaʼs face became even more teary as she continued to describe how Kai had cheated on her with some random girl. She recounted how she had confronted him, but he had coldly ignored her, saying, ʼI am in love with her!ʼ before pushing her away. The memory of that moment nearly broke her heart anew.... She had cried in front of everyone, feeling belittled and looked down upon.

The embarrassment and shame had been nearly unbearable. Continue reading at m|v-lʼe -

As Aether listened to her heartfelt story, he gritted his teeth, his anger simmering just beneath the surface. He was ready to kill anyone who made his Princess sad.

The thought of Kai causing her such pain made his blood boil!!

”You donʼt need to worry, Princess! I will take care of that woman! Even killing her!! Master Kai will love you once again,” Aether said with determination and worry, his voice a mix of anger and resolve.

Aqualina, with teary eyes, looked at Aether and said, ”B-But isnʼt that wrong?”

Aether gently smiled as he rubbed the corners of her teary eyes with his thumb, ”Right or wrong doesnʼt matter,” he said, his eyes turning sad and gloomy, ”I cannot watch you suffer alone...”

Aqualinaʼs lips trembled with a mix of happiness and sadness, her emotions overwhelming her, ”I-I am really happy that at least you are by my side... ʼsobʼ ʼsobʼ,” she started to cry, her voice breaking into soft, heart-wrenching sobs.

”P-Princess!!” Aether was shocked to see her cry for the first time. This was the first time he had seen her vulnerability, and it almost shattered his heart.

The woman who had always been so strong, so resilient, now seemed so fragile and in need of protection.

Veins bulged on his forehead as he barely held his anger back, ”I am gonna kill that woman!!!” he shouted furiously, his fists clenching tightly. He was just about to stand up when,

”N-No!!! P-Please donʼt leave me a-alone!! Aaaaaawwwwwww!!” Aqualina cried out in pain, pushing him back onto the bed with surprising strength.

She jumped on and held him on the bed and clung to him tightly, her sobs growing louder as she buried her face in his shoulder. She held him as if her life depended on it, fearing that being alone would drive her to unwanted thoughts and despair.

Seeing her crying, Aetherʼs heart broke even more. He bit his lip in pain, his hands moving to comfort her. But knowing their difference in status, he hesitated.

He knew he was just a servant, and she was a princess. Yet, the sight of her suffering was too much for him to bear... still, he lowered back but then,

”Aaaawwwwwww!!” Aqualinaʼs cry prompted him to move and hug her tightly.... abandoning all thoughts of status.

”I-I am here, Princess.... I wonʼt leave you... Ever!” Aether quietly whispered in her ear as he embraced her trembling small body. He felt her pain, her sorrow, and he wanted nothing more than to take it all away.

”Aw.... ʼSobʼ ʼSobʼ...” Aqualina cried softly in his tight embrace, her..... magic tears drenching Aetherʼs shoulder. She thought inwardly, ʼHehehe... How is my acting?ʼ She grinned inwardly while continuing to hug him tightly.

Meanwhile, Aether stared at the crying girl and thought, ʼI will give her 60 marks... not bad... Not bad at all...ʼ He sniffed her hair, savouring the scent of her lavender smell, before using a spell to create a water flow from his eyes.

Then he softly called her, ”P-Princess, are you alright?”

Aqualina, who had been using the water spell to fake her tears, stopped and lifted her head from his drenched shoulder. ʼThatʼs too much...ʼ she thought when she saw his shirt, almost half of it soaked. She turned to look at Aether.... only to be shocked by what she saw.

”W-What? A-Aether? Why are you crying?” Aqualinaʼs heart skipped a beat when she saw Aetherʼs tears. She had never seen him cry before, and the sight stirred something deep within her.

”B-Because you are hurt and crying... ʼsobʼ,” Aether stammered with a pained expression, which made Aqualina feel a little guilty. She hadnʼt expected him to react so strongly.

ʼHow cute, my innocent Aether~ʼ she thought, her pained expression turning inwardly playful, ʼBut I need to do this, otherwise... I will lose him forever...ʼ

She gently rubbed Aetherʼs tears away, her fingers tenderly brushing against his cheeks before travelling towards his... lips.

”I wonder what a kiss feels like...” she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. Her eyes locked onto his, filled with a longing she could no longer suppress, ”Aether... I...”

Aether blinked a few times, seeing her leaning at his lips.

Even a dense character would understand the situation, and if not, then he was either a eunuch or a brain-dead MC....

Their lips were about to touch when Aether was about to pull his next plan...

”WAIT!!” Aqualina shouted suddenly, stepping back abruptly.
