Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 266: Alaric Fucked up!

”Okay... I understand. I will talk to him,” Maelona said with a frown, her face reflecting a mix of concern and comprehension after hearing what Aether had asked of her.

”Good,” Aether responded, nodding with a reassuring smile.

Still holding onto Aether, Maelona felt a strange sensation wash over her as she saw his smile..... It made her uneasy, causing her to flinch suddenly. She hurriedly stepped back from him, clearing her throat to regain her composure.

”Ahem, I-I will be leaving then...”

Just as she was about to turn and leave, Aetherʼs voice took on a stern tone, ”Make sure to contact me as soon as you feel weak or tired.”

Maelona blinked in surprise, feeling a wave of emotions she hadnʼt expected.

No, It wasnʼt just a surprise.... rather, she felt cared for in a way that was unfamiliar. It was like the way parents warn their children to be cautious and take care of themselves. That was the kind of emotion she received from Aether.

Her lips twitched into a slight smile. ”Ara~ Are you my mother?” she asked, her voice tinged with both annoyance and amusement, trying to mask the deeper feelings that were stirred within her.

”Well, I donʼt mind, but I prefer ʼDaddy,ʼ though,” he said with a playful grin, his voice carrying an edge of amusement. His thoughts drifted into uncharted territory...

At that moment, a new desire took shape in his mind... He wanted Selene to call him ʼDaddyʼ...

He pictured her, eyes glistening with unshed tears, her voice soft and trembling as she asked, ”Am I being such a good girl for you, Daddy?” The vision was intoxicating. She was positioned just as he desired, her butt reddened from his firm, assertive hand.

The scene stirred something deep within him; his member twitched and hardened!!

Aria?

He mused over the idea but quickly dismissed it. Aria had always come across as the nurturing, maternal type, and he couldnʼt quite see her fitting into that particular fantasy.

Selene, on the other hand, was a perfect match for the scenario and most of all she was a Younger one!

ʼHehe…ʼ Aether chuckled inwardly, a dangerous smile curling at the corners of his lips. But then he facepalmed himself, ʼWhat the hell is wrong with me!ʼ he mentally screamed, feeling a wave of embarrassment.

Meanwhile, at the Academy, Selene flinched as she scanned her surroundings, a mixture of fear and..... excitement? coursing through her. Her heart raced as she struggled to understand the unfamiliar feelings surging within her.

ʼW-What is this feeling…?ʼ she wondered, swallowing nervously. Shaking off her disconcerting thoughts, she shouted before barging in, ”Letʼs sleep together, Helena!”

”NNNNOOOO...”

Something Amusing happening in the Academy.

Anyhow,

Maelona, who was still nearby, observed Aetherʼs subtle, lustful expression. Her face turned a deep crimson as she completely misunderstood the situation. With a look of shock and disgust, she shouted, ”I never expected my son-in-law to act like this…” before quickly turning on her heel and walking away in haste.

”H-Huh? What...?” Aether was left bewildered and taken aback by her reaction.

Aetherʼs face was a portrait of confusion, his expression clearly reflecting a ʼWhat the fuck?ʼ.

..

....

”Aria?” Aether tenderly called as he sat beside her sleeping body, his voice a gentle whisper that barely disturbed the stillness of the night.

”Hmmm...” Aria murmured in response, her body instinctively shifting to find a more comfortable position.

”Haha...” Aether chuckled quietly, the sound almost inaudible. He leaned down, planting a tender kiss on her forehead. Reluctantly, he stood and moved towards the window, his gaze shifting to the moonlit scenery outside. The landscape was bathed in silver light, trees casting long shadows that danced in the gentle breeze.

However instead of enjoying this,

His face, serene yet emotionless, reflected the turmoil within his heart.

To be honest, it was just not Maelona who was terrified of death... but he, too, had been paralyzed by the fear of hell when he had brushed against the brink of death. Despite his calm exterior... In the end, he was also a sane person.

The only reason he hadnʼt succumbed to madness was Maelonaʼs sudden and selfless sacrifice. Her actions had jolted him, made him forget his own pain, if only for a moment.

His mind then turned to Liora, He was almost always preoccupied with something, his mind never resting.

Taking a deep breath, he glanced at his mission tab. The fact that it wasnʼt blinking provided some solace; it meant Helena was safe... for now.

Thank goodness he had contacted Selene and Celestia to keep an eye on Helena. This realization made him ponder, ʼSo, Iʼm not really necessary to save the targets... ah,ʼ he thought. But he quickly shook off the thought. The word ʼSaveʼ was still visible, indicating that Helena was currently in danger, though not deadly!

His eyes then slowly fell on the..... survival rate.

He still couldnʼt get what it truly fucking meant.

At times, it seemed to reflect his own life.... but more often than not, it felt like a random number fucking generator!

Even when he had faced death, his survival rate hadnʼt decreased!

Yet, when he saved Maelona, his survival rate plummeted drastically!

For what?

Was Maelona going to kill him?

Hell no! There was no way she would do anything after sacrificing everything for him!

Then what?

”The fuck if I know...” he mumbled, his face contorted in annoyance. The unpredictability of it all gnawed at him, a constant irritant that he couldnʼt shake off.

It wasnʼt just about his survival rate... his affection points were also a source of growing confusion, a tangled web of emotions that made no sense.

ʼAh, letʼs not get into that shit... itʼs even weirder,ʼ he thought, recalling Celestiaʼs situation and... Blakeʼs second wife or whoever she was.

”Anyhow...” Aether shook his head, trying to clear his mind. Thinking about everything almost drove him insane.

His eyes suddenly turned cold as ice. ”Alaric...” he mumbled, the name leaving a bitter taste in his mouth.

To think Alaric would come after him personally... No, he had kind of expected that. But he hadnʼt anticipated Alaric coming after him directly, unlike traditional villains who sent their minions to do their dirty work.

What was more disturbing was that Alaric had targeted Aria..... His eyes darkened as he remembered how Aria had begged for his life, a memory that haunted him.

No man would want to see their beloved beg!!

Aether looked at his palm, where a small, very minute 1mm dark black sphere appeared.

This was the technique he had read about in an ancient book.... the one that had caused Alaricʼs forehand to vanish.

Voidus Atrium

Thatʼs what it was called in the old book. However, in Aetherʼs terms, it was just an extremely high gravitational pull or, more simply, a black hole.

What Aether did was use arcane energy as a catalyst to pull elements at a hyper rate.

A very hyper rate, to the point where everything around them started to collapse, much like matter, causing a bend in time and space. The sheer power of it was both exhilarating and terrifying.

To be honest, Aether wasnʼt very proficient with it. He had managed to use it because of his high level of arcane energy control. Otherwise, no one at his level would have been able to pull off such a stunt.

The effort required was immense control and Arcane energy!

He had only used it at that moment because he knew he was no match for Alaric.

Alaric, with his 1000 years of experience and power, was far beyond Aetherʼs reach. This disparity was both frustrating and... Exciting?

”Hehe...” Aether let out an uncanny smile as he shot the black sphere into the sky, causing the once clear night to turn cloudy.

”You shouldnʼt have done that, Alaric... Tsk, Tsk, What a pity....Heh.... Iʼm really pissed off now... Hehe... Letʼs hope you wonʼt regret this...” His eyes were completely shrouded in darkness.

Alaric had everything: power, life, money... an empire.

But what would happen if he lost everything?

Would he feel despair?

Alaric had lost his wife, so of course, he had felt despair... no, more like he lost his toy!

So, Alaric was yet to feel despair!

The image of Aria begging and in despair twisted Aetherʼs mind further...

”Hehe...” Aetherʼs smile grew wider, more sinister...

Just then,

”Hmm?” Aria groaned as her eyelids fluttered open. She heard a small, uncanny laugh and turned her eyes groggily to the side, seeing.... two blurry figures.

”A-Aether?” Aria frowned, rubbing her eyes to clear her vision. Now she clearly and only saw Aetherʼs back as he slowly turned around.

Aria smiled warmly, relief washing over her. But just then,

THUNDER!!!!

A lightning bolt struck, illuminating the room in a blinding flash. At that moment, Aria saw a black feminine figure hovering beside Aether.... Its hands were wrapped around Aetherʼs neck, and even more terrifying...

There was a huge white grin on its black face, a grotesque mockery of a smile.

”KKKYYYYYYAAAAAAAAA!!!!”
