Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 274 : Second Trial.... Begins!

Aether had an amused expression on his face, his eyes gleaming with a dangerous light. He then leaned in closer with a wicked grin, ”You know, if I ever see you, Iʼll show you who your ʼDaddyʼ is.

Iʼll smack your ass until you canʼt sit on anything other than my dick. Bitch!!

Iʼll make sure you beg me to fuck you..... Youʼre going to moan under me, you little bitch!!!”

Trrrrrrr

This time, instead of the cave itself, the pillars trembled violently, as if barely containing an immense anger that threatened to explode.

Suddenly, a voice boomed, filled with an unmistakable fury...

”GET OUT!!!”

Aetherʼs smoke-like body disappeared in an instant, dissipating into thin air..... Yet, even as he vanished, a smirk remained on his face, an uncanny, confident smile.

As soon as Aether was gone, the pillars ceased trembling, the cave settling into an uneasy silence.

This quiet was soon broken by a soft, feminine laugh, echoing eerily through the stone walls.

”Fu~Fu~” The laugh was filled with a sinister delight, the sound chilling and mocking.

”Tsk, you can do whatever you want, Arcane! But at the end of the day, when he sees a twisted woman like you… Iʼm pretty sure he will abandon you just like I did. You need to stop this now and kill hi—” The mechanical voice was cut off abruptly.

”Hehe… By the time he reaches me, he will be ready to accept a twisted woman like me,” the feminine voice interrupted, filled with confidence and amusement.

It echoed around the cave.

The mechanical voice hesitated, a pause filled with contemplation and a hint of frustration.

It knew that Aether was changing slowly… His once good and truthful heart was gradually adapting to this new, twisted life filled with lies, deception, and the acceptance of women with strange tendencies.

The transformation was evident when he thought wickedly about smacking Mother instead of killing her....

Sensing the hesitation, the feminine voice teased, ”Here I was, waiting for him with my BIG ass, ready to tease his cute little elephant.

Tsk, tsk… You must be thrilled that he wants to spank your butt instead of killing you.

Tsk, tsk, now I feel annoyed that he chose you before me.

I want him~

Hmm… I wonder how it feels, it must be… exciting, right?” The words dripped with sarcasm and jealousy, each syllable a taunt designed to provoke.

And it worked perfectly!

”ARCANE!!!!” The mechanical voice roared, reverberating through the cavern and causing the pillars to tremble once more.

”I will teach him what his fate means… The time has begun…” The voice was filled with determination.

Sssssssshhhhhhiiinnnnnggggggg

As the words echoed, the spider lily flower suddenly crushed into a fine powder, shimmering like tiny sparkling stars. The powder spread around the pillars, which began to glow with an otherworldly light, as if they were powering up for something monumental....

”Fu~Fu~ Indeed, the time has begun…” the feminine voice said with a tone of finality, her words hanging in the air before fading into the darkness.

THUD

The cave door suddenly swung open, the sound echoing through the cavern...

A mechanical voice, filled with authority and an eerie calmness, reverberated through the air, ”Itʼs time for the second trial and also….”

TRRRRRRRRRRRRR

A deep rumble shook the ground, causing dust and small rocks to fall from the ceiling. The tremor was unlike any other.....

!~Ding~!

[Mission updated: Survive until the beginning:- Time remaining: 300 days 24 hours 60 minutes 60 seconds]

In Aquaris Naiadae Empire,

Empress Marisandra Naiadia, who had been sitting regally on her throne, felt a subtle tremor beneath her.

Her eyes widened, and she frowned as she looked outside her grand palace. Her entire empire or the entire world, was trembling... as if there was an earthquake.

Her face turned stern, then a slow, amused smile spread across her lips. ”So, itʼs begun… finally!” she whispered to herself.

It wasnʼt just her empire; other empires felt the same subtle earthquake.

Each and every ruler turned their expressions grave. Across the lands, the Emperor and Empress of each empire and world uttered the same word in unison:

”The Beginning.....”

Meanwhile, the Principal walked with determined steps toward the underground, the Chosen Ones trailing behind her.

”Looks like someone finished the trial… Who might it be?” the Principal mused aloud with a smile, though inwardly she was deeply concerned. ʼThis is too soon…. What happened exactly that it started this early…..? Students are not read yet....ʼ she wondered, her mind racing with possibilities and strategies.

Kai glanced at Aria, his expression one of defeat and frustration, ʼSo, she just used it without even confirming with me?ʼ he thought bitterly, knowing he hadnʼt yet cancelled his deal with Aria.

Aria, on the other hand, stared daggers at him. ʼThis bastard!!ʼ she seethed inwardly. She couldnʼt believe Kai had stolen her precious treasure and had the nerve to walk so haughtily before her, ʼGrrr, I am only holding back because of Aether, otherwise….ʼ Her thoughts were a whirlwind of anger and resentment.

Noticing the silence and the tension, the Principal shook her head, trying to alleviate the unease that hung in the air.

”Itʼs fine. If you donʼt want to reveal yourself, no one is forcing you… Be secretive~” She understood the reluctance; the person who completed the trial didnʼt want to be targeted by others, and that was completely understandable.

Aqualina glanced at Kai, then at Aria, her mind racing with thoughts of strategy, ʼSince Aether was still under Kaiʼs control, she must be the one…. Grrrr…ʼ she gritted her teeth, feeling the need to step up her game and prove herself worthy otherwise she might lose Aether to his Elven bitch!

They soon reached the door.

THUD!

As it closed behind them.... However, this time Aether wasnʼt there.

The mechanical voice echoed once more, filling the chamber with an authoritative presence, ”Your Second trial is…..”

Meanwhile,

In the Pyra Fulgur Empire..... a world that filled with majestic mountains and shadowy, mysterious valleys...

Within one such valley, deeper and deeper....

As the descent continued, the roots that held the backbone of the empire began to reveal themselves.

At first, they appeared as slender, tentative tendrils, but with each further plunge into the depths, they grew more robust and imposing. The roots thickened, intertwining in a complex web.

Finally, at the very bottom of the valley, the roots coiled together in a nearly impenetrable mass, obscuring all vision and enveloping the area in an almost tangible darkness.

Shhh...

A sudden burst of colours pierced the gloom, a dazzling rainbow of colours radiating from a crystal the size of a big palm.

This crystal appeared within the tangled roots and emitted a soft yet powerful light, its glow gradually illuminating the oppressive darkness.

Crack

A sharp sound echoed through the valley as one of the mighty roots splintered.

From within the knotted chaos, something stirred....

A low, guttural growl reverberated through the dense air,

”Grrrrrrllllll...”

The growl grew louder, resonating through the roots and the surrounding rock.

The light from the crystal flickered....
