Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 272: Hello, Mother!

Thud

Aether quietly closed Aqualinaʼs room door, ensuring it didnʼt disturb her peaceful slumber. A serene smile lingered on her face, a testament to the beautiful dreams she was undoubtedly having. With a contented sigh, Aether turned away...

As he walked, his gaze briefly lingered on Helenaʼs door. He glanced at his mission tab, noting it wasnʼt blinking. ʼShe can wait...ʼ he thought, making his way to the lower floor and heading straight for Seleneʼs room.

The moment he entered,

”AETHER!!!!!” Seleneʼs ecstatic scream filled the room. She launched herself at him with such force that Aether staggered, but he quickly caught her and swung her around in a joyous embrace.

”Hahaha...” Seleneʼs giggles were infectious as she clung to him tightly. ”I missed you soooo muuuuuchhh!!!!” she cried, her voice echoing with heartfelt emotion.

”Haha... I missed you too!” Aether mumbled, hugging her back. Seleneʼs laughter rang out as she nuzzled closer, her happiness palpable.

”Hug me tight!” she demanded, her voice a mix of urgency and affection.

”Hmm, Hmm,” Aether nodded, tightening his embrace.

”Even Tighter!”

”Hmm, Hmm”

”Tighter”

”.....Thatʼs really gonna break you, you know,” Aether said, amused by her insistence.

Selene giggled even more and whispered provocatively, ”I donʼt mind~”

Aetherʼs lips twitched in a mischievous smile. ”Seems like someone is being naughty~” he teased, his hand slipping down to grab her ass firmly.

”~Sss~”

Selene hissed, a tingling sensation shooting through her. She grinned, licking her lips seductively. ”You donʼt like naughty girls?”

Aether leaned in, capturing her lips in a heated kiss.

”~Hmm~” Selene moaned softly, her body melting into his.

”Of course, I like naughty girls,” Aether whispered against her lips before deepening the kiss. He pushed her onto the bed, their bodies intertwining in a fervent embrace.

”~ahh~”

Selene moaned again as their hands roamed over each other, exploring the familiar yet always thrilling territory.

After a series of passionate kisses, Selene rested her head on Aetherʼs lap. He gently ruffled her hair, a gesture she loved. ”Iʼm not sure why you asked me to protect her, but there was no incident around Helena,” she said softly, her fingers tracing circles on his thigh.

”I see...” Aether nodded thoughtfully. ”Did anything happen recently? Any weird incidents?” he asked, his mind working through potential threats.

”Hmm, I donʼt think there was anything weird—Wait! I think the Archpriestess visited the academy,” Selene recalled, her brow furrowing in thought.

”Archpriestess... ah,” Aetherʼs nodding slowed, and his eyes widened with a flicker of fear. ”Y-You mean that Archpriestess?” he asked, trying to keep his voice calm while inwardly screaming with alarm.

”Yes, the same woman who visited Kaiʼs engagement function!” Selene confirmed.

ʼGulpʼ

”I see...” Aether nodded again, more slowly this time, ”Is she... still here?”

”Nah, she already left”

”I see....” Aether mumbled as he tried to piece together the information.

Selene noticed his hesitation and frowned, ”Is... Helena related to your mission?” she asked, her voice laced with concern.

Aether remained silent, his expression unreadable. Selene sighed, sensing his reluctance to share. She snuggled closer, her voice taking on a childlike pleading tone, ”I want you to spend the night with me!” Her expression, however, was anything but innocent.

Aether smiled, kissing her forehead tenderly. ”I need to inform Master Kai and the Principal,” he said softly.

Selene pouted, her lower lip jutting out adorably. Aether couldnʼt resist pinching her bubbly cheeks, making her giggle like a child.

They spent the next few hours talking about everything they had missed during his absence. Aether recounted his adventures, and Selene eagerly listened, her eyes sparkling with curiosity and admiration.

....

...

”So, youʼre saying that Miss Aria and you were attacked by some people, which is why you were late?” Kai asked, his arms folded tightly across his chest. He was trying to maintain his composure, but the subtle tremor in his hands betrayed his anxiety.

Aether nodded, his expression calm and composed. ”Yes, Master. We were ambushed by a group of mercenaries. They were highly skilled, but Ms. Aria managed to fend them off.”

Kaiʼs eyes narrowed as he processed the information. He hadnʼt expected Aria to be capable of taking down professional mercenaries, especially those sent by his father. The thought unsettled him deeply. ”And these mercenaries... they were all killed by Aria?”

”Yes,” Aether confirmed. ”She fought bravely and managed to defeat them all.”

Kai stared at Aether for a long moment, trying to gauge if there was any deception in his words. Finally, he waved his hand dismissively. ”You can leave now.”

”Understood,” Aether replied, turning to leave. But as he reached the door, Kaiʼs voice called out once more.

”Ether,” he said, his tone stern and commanding. ”You belong to me... donʼt forget that.”

Aether paused, a small, defiant smile playing on his lips, ”Of course!”

Kai watched Aetherʼs retreating back with a mixture of frustration and fear. He turned his attention back to the letter from his father, which indicated that the mercenaries were not responding. His father had decided to send another batch. Kai shook his head as he wrote a reply, explaining that Aether and Aria had returned and that Aria had killed all the mercenaries.

A bead of sweat formed on Kaiʼs forehead. ʼIf she was able to kill a Level 35 Golden Aptitude Mercenary... she must have grown significantly stronger,ʼ he thought, struggling to comprehend how Aria had advanced so rapidly in such a short time.

He knew he had to keep up. If he fell behind, he would be left eating othersʼ dust. He needed to sharpen his skills and power, or he would never live up to his grandfatherʼs legacy.

A fleeting thought of handing Aether over crossed his mind, but he quickly dismissed it, recalling his fatherʼs stern warning.

.....

...

Inside Aetherʼs room,

”Hmm~”

Two bodies intertwined on the bed as they passionately kissed, their movements a blend of urgency and affection.

”~ah~Aether~” Celestia moaned, her voice filled with desire as Aether bit her neck and fondled her ample ass without mercy.

”Hehe...” Aether chuckled, pulling back to whisper, ”I can feel you, Celes... I can feel you~” Through their connection, Aether could sense Celestiaʼs longing and love, making her blush adorably.

Celestia huffed, feeling both teased and aroused.... She wanted him to reward her for doing every work so she reiterated her efforts, ”I disguised myself as Victor sometimes, then helped Princess, helped Selene, and even secretly watched over Helena... I worked really hard, you know!”

”Hmm... Hmm...” Aether nodded, ”That must have been tough for you,” before kissing her lips again and asking, ”Good girl~ What do you want?”

Celestia chuckled at being called a good girl, her blush deepening. She grinned and said, ”You know what I want, right?”

Aether stared into her eyes, sighing. ”Itʼs not easy to go after the Empress when Iʼm still weak... Why donʼt we just do it?”

Celestia had promised herself that until her big sister was truly happy, she would not allow herself to be. This promise kept both Celestia and Aether from crossing the final line.

Celestia pouted, her frustration evident. ”Then itʼs a no-no for now?”

Aether chuckled, feeling her emotions. He knew she desperately wanted to be with him yet was holding herself back... as if she was trying to hurt herself. ”Well, itʼs not li—”

[Say: Log]

Aetherʼs entire vision was suddenly blocked. He couldnʼt see anything. ʼI suppose you held back quite a bit...ʼ he thought before informing Celestia, ”Iʼll be unconscious for a few minutes or maybe an hour.”

”Huh? Why?” Celestia asked, her worry clear.

”The mission,” Aether replied.

Those words were enough for Celestia to understand. Her expression turned stern as she carefully made sure Aether was lying down properly. She sat beside him, ready to assist if he needed anything.

Aether chuckled at her sudden change in demeanor, saying, ”Log.”

In the next moment, Aetherʼs consciousness was transported to.... the Origin Pillars, surrounded by a beautiful green landscape.

”Congratulations, The Lost One,” a mechanical voice echoed from the centre of the circular pillars.

Aether stood firmly on the ground, unlike the last time when he walked on the ceiling. With a respectful smile, he bowed slightly. ”Hello, Mother.”
