Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2479: Chapter 2488: Bobby Doesn’t Want to Drink Milk

Enna Clark had no idea that so many little things happened after she left.

She picked up Bobby; Olivia Lewis and Adam Sinclair also came, and the four of them had a hot pot dinner before going their separate ways.

Enna Clark and Bobby, of course, were heading back to Birch Garden.

Once at the luxury home, Bobby, who had been sullen along the way because Adam would also be present in the evening, quickly changed into his special big slippers and trotted off to the living room.

”Young Master, you’re back. Have a glass of milk.” Scott Harris came out with a glass of milk, looking so domestic that there wasn’t the slightest hint of his outdoor competence; he simply looked like a nanny.

Bobby, dragging his school bag, frowned at the milk that suddenly appeared in front of him, ”I don’t want to drink it...”

”How could that be, Young Master? You need a glass of milk every day to get enough nutrition.” Scott Harris had a bunch of words to persuade him, but before he could finish,

he heard Enna Clark, who entered from behind, calmly ask, ”Darling, I remember there are some girls in your class who seem taller than you, aren’t there?”

Are some girls in your class taller than you?

Bobby, as if his weak spot had been hit, suddenly stiffened his cool little face, and his feet, which were on the verge of walking past Scott Harris, halted instantly. With a grim look, he turned back to Scott Harris, took the glass of milk, and gulped it down in one go.

”Young Master, take it slow.” Seeing him drink so hastily, Scott Harris was worried he might choke and kept advising him by his side.

Bobby swiftly finished the milk and handed the empty glass back to him, saying stiffly, ”I’m going to my room to do homework.”

As he spoke, he stormed into his room, slamming the door shut with a bang.

Scott Harris rubbed his temples, put down the glass, poured a glass of plain water for Enna Clark, brought it over, and said helplessly, ”Young Madam, the Young Master seems to be upset.”

”Thank you.” Enna Clark took the glass, had a sip, and finally washed down the salty taste of the hot pot she had for dinner. She took a breath, put her bag on the sofa, and said calmly, ”Mr. Harris, just ignore him. He’s been sulking since school let out this afternoon, and after a bit of acting out, he’ll be fine on his own.”

”Uh, why is the Young Master sulking? Wasn’t he looking forward to Young Madam picking him up from school?”

Enna Clark sat helplessly on the sofa, tilted her head, and replied, ”Because of Adam. Adam brought Olivia along to invite me to eat. Initially, we had planned to take him for pineapple rice. But since Adam insisted on hotpot, we couldn’t go to that snack store Bobby wanted to visit this evening, so he’s been unhappy.”

Scott Harris had an enlightened look, ”So that’s what happened. I was wondering why the Young Master was in a bad mood.”

Turns out Young Master Sinclair’s lack of consideration disturbed the pleasant alone time the Young Master hoped to spend with Young Madam.

Enna Clark said, ”By the way, Mr. Harris, could you make me a cup of coffee later? I have a meeting to attend tonight.”

”Sure, what would you like to drink, Young Madam?” Scott Harris bent slightly with a respectful demeanor.

Enna Clark thought for a moment. Besides the meeting tonight, she also had to call someone. Ordinary coffee wouldn’t be strong enough. ”A mocha, please, and make it strong.”

If it’s not strong, she’s afraid she might feel sleepy.

”Sure, Young Madam.”

Scott Harris was very efficient at work and immediately went to the kitchen to prepare it.

Enna Clark rested on the sofa for a while, then also headed to the study, opened her laptop, checked the time, and started working...
