What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

“Hmm~ Hmm~ Hmmm~ Ehehehehe~”

Emilia’s so happy that she’s actually laughing to herself while looking at the contract that she forced… Ahem… Convinced Karen to sign.

With that, she officially owes us five million Creas, which was basically five Platinum coins.

I have never even seen a Platinum coin before in my life…

No wait, I did… Mother showed it to me before. Almost forgot about that.

Anyway… That’s an amount of money that a normal person could spend their whole life working and never even reach… But I guess for a party like them, they might have a chance to get it if they work hard enough since they have boons they received from the gods.

At least… That was what I believed until Emilia revealed that they failed to read the fine print at the bottom that said they had a ten percent compounded interest every month…

That was beyond diabolical that I actually felt a little sorry for Karen’s group…

Oh well, I can only say they brought it upon themselves and I suspect that they would be coming to us to protest against the contract they signed soon once they read through their copy of the contract.

Which was why I was seated in the inn’s dining hall with Emilia right now while the other girls went out to enjoy the rest of the day which was supposed to be our rest day to begin with.

Of course, Katsuki was also standing behind me even though I told her that she could join the rest in taking the day off.

“Do you actually think they will show up today? We did beat them pretty badly in the morning…” I pointed out.

Emilia chuckled, “Hehe, did you forget, Boss? They have a pretty good healer on their team right? They would be healed up by now and if the leader isn’t stupid, she would be properly reading through the contract I made her sign and would definitely be coming back to talk to us about it~”

“I mean… What’s stopping them from just packing up and running away to avoid paying any of the money?”

She waved her hand dismissively, “It doesn’t matter~ The contract has been signed so this is already official. If they run, their debt will still be there and won’t disappear. If they want to live in a city, we will be able to find them as long as they still remain as a Guild member.”

I tilted my head, “And if they just choose to live their life camping out in the woods?”

“Then they can go ahead and do that for all I care. The moment they step into civilisation though… Heh heh heh… All the accumulated interest would add up and they can start paying again~”

Emilia really is ruthless when it comes to money huh?

I was just about to ask if she even expects those karens to pay back the money when the door to the inn was slammed open.

Everyone turned to look at the commotion and almost everyone turned away immediately when they saw who it was.

We didn’t turn away of course, since the people standing at the door were the group we had quite literally face slapped a few hours ago.

We said nothing and simply watched them approach us while the rest of the patrons of the inn pretended to be busy with their own things to avoid looking in our direction.

Karen fished out her copy of the contract and slammed it on our table, her face scrunched up with clear rage.

“What is this?!”

Emilia didn’t even look at the contract she had slammed on the table, “That’s the contract you signed. What about it?”

“This!! What do you mean by this!!” She screeched, pointing at the fine print at the very bottom of the page. “This is entrapment! This is a scam!! I’ll sue you!!”

Emilia propped up her chin with her palm while her tail swished behind her lazily, “Entrapment? You signed this of your own accord, did you not?”

“You forced me to do so!”

“Oh, did I? How did I force you? Did I grab your hand and force you to sign on this paper and also on the paper that I’m holding too?”

“Yes you did!”

Wow… Ok, for the record… Even though Emilia pretty much pressured her into signing the contracts, she did not forcibly grab her hand and forced Karen to sign them.

All she did was place the contracts in front of her and watched her sign it on her own.

In other words, Karen was lying once again.

Emilia smiled at her, not at all bothered by her lies and gestured at the woman, “So do you have proof of that happening? Because if you don’t, I have witnesses that can vouch that what you said was a lie. We can go to the guards if you want~”

“Ugh…”

Karen flinched back from her words, probably aware that if this was actually brought up to the authorities, she would definitely be found lying and would lose out anyway.

She recovered quickly and pointed at the fine print again, “This… This is still entrapment! This shouldn’t be allowed!!”

“Oh really? What are you going to tell them? That you signed it without reading the contract which the terms of you have already agreed beforehand? Good luck then~”

Karen’s brows furrowed even further in rage but she had nothing to use to refute against Emilia.

She then shifted her gaze to me, obviously trying to switch targets since she realised she could not win against Emilia.

“You! You allow someone like this to be part of your party?!”

“Yes and I love her,” I answered her easily.

Emilia froze before she blushed up to her ears and hid her face with the contract in her hands, her tail waving so fast behind her that it turned into a blur.

So cute~

Karen was obviously not amused by my words as she pointed a finger at me, only for Katsuki to reach forward and grab her wrist to pull it away before she could say anything.

“Point your finger at Mistress again and I will cut off that worthless hand of yours,” My Inugami maid threatened before letting go.

Unexpectedly, Karen fell backwards dramatically onto the floor and let out a cry, “Ahhhh! Assault!! Help! Somebody help! I’m being assaulted! She’s assaulting me! He–“

Katsuki’s figure blurred in front of her and gave her a slap across the face, shutting her up.

The other little karens around her gasped at that and moved to pull out their weapons but Katsuki was way faster than they were, her figure disappearing and eleven resounding slaps reverberating inside the inn before she reappeared beside me.

Wow… I think Katsuki got even faster than before…

The karens were all just staring at her with wide eyes, their bodies still frozen though some of them were visibly trembling. I’m guessing they got traumatised from our slapping session earlier?

Katsuki gave them a look with a tilt of her chin, “Try that again and I’ll cut off all your hands.”

All the karens shuddered.

Emilia took over the conversation again after she recovered from her embarrassment at my confession, “Ahem… Anyway, you still owe us five million Creas and the interest rate is at ten percent compounded per month. So you might want to start considering how you want to pay us back~”

“Five million is too much! There is no way we can pay that amount of money! It’s impossible!” Karen protested.

Huh… So she does know the value of money here. Which meant that the money they demanded from us was them actually being serious about it…

That just makes it worse if you ask me… They had fully intended to place a debt on us that they knew we could not repay…

Now all the sympathy I had for them for having this debt piled on them was gone since I can truly say this was something they deserved.

Emilia smiled lazily at her, “Oh? It’s too much? Wasn’t that the amount you wanted us to pay you instead? Yet now you think it’s too much and even impossible to pay? In that case, why did you even suggest that amount in the first place, hmm?”

“That… That’s different! You… You’re clearly stronger than us so it’s possible to pay that money! We’re not!”

Emilia pretended to think, “Hmm… I suppose so… All of you are so pathetic that I doubt you can even earn five million Creas in your lifetime.”

One of the karens actually took the bait and stepped forward, “Who are you calling pathetic?! We are no– Mmmm?!”

One of the other karens quickly covered her mouth before she could say anymore.

Seriously… What was she thinking? Tell us that they aren’t pathetic and could actually pay us the five million Creas?

Emilia pretended not to hear that woman and maintained her gaze on Karen who remained silent.

“I can wipe that debt if you want~ Just on one condition though~”

Karen’s face lit up, “What condition?”

“Submit to a slavery contract and I’ll wipe this entire debt~”

…

Have I said that you are diabolical, Emilia? Because you are really diabolical.
