What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

“Yes!! Oh my god!! By every single thing that is holy! Yes!!” The girl in front of me screamed while still holding on to my arms.

“Ok, woman… Back off now…” Odeta growled, reaching out to lay a hand on her shoulder.

She suddenly flinched back and dodged Odeta’s hand before frowning at her, “Do not touch me.”

Odeta furrowed her brows, “Well then don’t touch my Sister so casually then.”

The woman gasped and looked down at her hands that were wearing white elbow length gloves.

I wondered what she was thinking about before she slowly pulled off the gloves from her hands before gently folding them and then taking out a glass jar which she then stuffed the gloves inside and sealing it.

She then very carefully placed the container away in her bag before she pulled out another pair of gloves that looked exactly the same as the one she just took off before she put them back on.

She then let out a breath before turning to me, acting as though nothing had happened and returning back to her stoic expression.

“Ahem… Yes, I am the client that was looking for a model to accompany me to Billgaw City. I will be honoured to work with you.”

Before I could say anything, Emilia stepped up to square up against her, “Hold on. We want to know why you even had this criteria in the first place?”

She turned to look at Emilia and I thought she would say something only for her to completely ignore Emilia before turning back to me.

Wait, is she really just going to ignore her?

“Hey?! I asked you a question?!”

The blonde haired woman didn’t even acknowledge her and simply did a curtsy to me, “It seems like I may have neglected a proper introduction so allow me to start over. I am Atherva, an artist who seeks perfection in art. Pleased to meet you.”

I blinked at her before returning her curtsy with one of my own, “I am Aster, leader of this party and these are my party members. I suppose your work is the reason why you had that condition tied to your Request?”

She nodded, “Indeed. I was hoping to be able to find someone that could be my model in my art pieces you see. And… You are perfect.”

I pointed at myself, “Me? Are you sure? I think my companions are way more beautiful though?”

For some reason, Atherva looked at me with an odd expression on her face while my girls just gave me wry smiles.

What? Was it something I said?

Before I could ask, Atherva recovered and nodded as though she had just figured out something, “I see… This is even better than I had hoped for. In that case, could I assume that you are accepting my Request?”

“Hmmm? Isn’t that why we’re here?” I pointed out. “Although I would like to ask what you expect from us though?”

She gestured towards me, “It is very simple. I just need you to be my model in my paintings as we travel towards the city. I will pay you for every painting I create along the way.”

I blinked at her, “Eh? Wait, every painting? Weren’t you already paying three hundred Creas as the base reward already?”

And yes, that was quite a lot of money for something as simple as this.

She shook her head, “There is no way I would feel at ease if I am allowed to just paint you without something in return. Don’t worry, I will be paying for all expenses, including getting a private carriage and also for food and any other travel expenses as well. Is there anything you require before we set off? I can purchase it for you if you need it.”

“Eh? Ummm… No, we have everything we need with us right now.”

“In that case, could we set off immediately? We will meet at the northern gates while I find a carriage for us.”

“I don’t mind.”

“Perfect. In that case, I will see you in a bit.”

She then turned and left us, moving at a speed that was faster than a walk but slower than a run.

I waited until she was out of sight before turning to my girls, “So… What do you think?”

Katsuki answered first, “She has good eyes, Mistress.”

Lisa giggled, “Eheheh~ I have the same thoughts. She has certainly good tastes~”

Somehow I have a feeling Katsuki was referring to the fact that she had distinctively red eyes while Lisa was just talking about her taste in art?

Odeta huffed, “Hmph, I will also agree that she at least could see Sister Aster’s beauty! So I don’t have a problem with her.”

Delmare also nodded, “I’m quite interested in seeing what kind of painting she will create.”

There was, however, one person who disagreed.

Emilia crossed her arms in front of her chest and seethed, “She’s a rude bitch, that’s what I think! She basically treated all of us like we didn’t exist!”

“Well… She is paying quite a substantial amount of money just for us to accompany her though…” I pointed out.

My Nekomata sighed, “Ugh… I suppose there’s at least one good thing about her…”

Figured the topic about money would flip her opinion around.

Anyway, it seems like it’s decided that we would accept this Request after all.

We headed to the location that she told us to meet her at and we didn’t have to take long before a wagon stopped in front of us and she stepped out from it.

“Once again, I am looking forward to working with you, Miss Aster.”

“Yes, umm… Miss Atherva?” I started before she shook her head to stop me.

“Please, just call me Ather, there is no need to be formal with me, Miss Aster.”

“Well… I can’t really do that since you’re our client…”

“I insist.”

She gave me a look that basically told me that she wasn’t going to back down from this so I relented.

“Alright, umm… Ather then… Shall we get going?”

She nodded and I started to move towards the wagon before she stepped in front of me to stop me.

“Miss Aster? What are you doing?” She asked with a genuine look of confusion on her face.

I blinked at her, “Eh? Boarding the wagon so that we can set off? Is something the matter?”

“Of course! You aren’t getting on this one, Miss Aster! Your ride is over there!” She announced, pointing behind me.

I turned to see another carriage parked behind me, this one was opulent and looked more suitable for nobles to ride in instead.

I’m even surprised they had a carriage like this here for rent in the first place but… What was this woman planning?

I turned back to her, “Wait… Why did you need to hire two carriages? Couldn’t all of us just fit into one anyway?”

She gasped, “How could I let you do something like sharing a carriage with others?! No, no, that won’t do! What if the others’ imperfections rub off on you and then you become less beautiful? I need you to be absolutely perfect for this so you must ride that carriage alone where you are protected from the slightest bit of imperfection from tainting you!”

… What? What is this woman even saying?

I turned to my girls, expecting them to say something as well but for some reason, they were all nodding along like she had just said something profound.

Wait… No, no, no… You girls can’t possibly be agreeing with this, are you? What even is the logic behind what she said?! And this wouldn’t even be the first time I shared a wagon with others, you know? Did you girls forget that was literally how we got here in the first place?!

Ather gestured towards the carriage, “Please go ahead, Miss Aster.”

“Wait, you’re really serious about this?”

“Of course, Miss Aster.”

“What about your painting? I thought you wanted me to follow along to be your model or something?”

She nodded, “Of course, Miss Aster. As we are travelling there, we will stop when I find a particular scenery that I would like to paint. Thus, I would have to trouble you to also disembark to pose for me when such an occasion arises, Miss Aster.”

Ah… I understand now…

I had been thinking she was going to paint me while we were moving but that seemed to have been a misunderstanding on my part…

So she’s going to be making stops along the way to paint instead of painting on the go…

But seriously, there’s no need to put me in one carriage on my own!

“It’s alright, Aster~ Since she already paid for it anyway so let’s just make use of it!” Lisa suggested, already trying to usher me towards the carriage.

Eh? Why are you so supportive of this idea where you will be separated from… Ah… She wants to be able to use the interior of the carriage to fuck when it’s time to make camp… And I’m guessing the other girls are also thinking the same thing…

I’ll just keep my mouth shut then…
