My Martial Arts Level Never Drops

Chapter 227: Chapter 132: Treasure Fish?

A new year brings a new atmosphere!~

That saying is so true!

Because on the second day of the new year, Qin Fang’s proficiency in the Spiritual Snake Listening Wave Pile broke through 5,000...

’Spiritual Snake Listening Wave Pile (High Grade Root Technique) (Perfection): 1/∞

At the moment of his breakthrough, Qin Fang was beneath the waterfall.

The feeling of ’Blessings Arrive in the Heart’ arrived as promised, and with it, Qin Fang mastered the so-called secret of ’Endless Circulation’.

Water cascaded down with a ROAR. The Force around Qin Fang’s body flickered, and without any conscious effort on his part, it automatically began to resist the water crashing down on him!

CRACKLE! CRACKLE! CRACKLE!~

A sound like an electric current surged as every stream of falling water was shattered by the Force that naturally emanated from his body...

It felt as if his body had grown invisible ’Powerful Spikes’!

In a daze, Qin Fang felt the changes in his body, absorbing all the information gained from the Epiphany.

He absorbed a vast amount of knowledge and insight regarding the ’Endless Circulation’ Realm. Some of it was things his master had mentioned, while other parts were even more detailed than his master’s teachings.

He had entered a whole new Realm!

And just as he crossed into this new Realm, new text appeared on his panel...

’Spiritual Snake Listening Wave Pile (High Grade Root Technique) (Intent): 6,501/10,000’

When Qin Fang looked at the panel and saw this change, he was a bit stunned.

...He hadn’t learned a new Pile Method, yet this text had just appeared out of nowhere.

And this number...

Qin Fang blinked.

’Isn’t that just the sum total of proficiency required to go from entry-level to Minor Achievement, from Minor Achievement to Great Success, and from Great Success to Perfection?’

’And now, his Spiritual Snake Listening Wave Pile has reached Perfection, yet this thing with ’Intent’ tacked on the end has popped up...’

The clarity from the Epiphany soon allowed Qin Fang to understand...

...This was the Mental Pile!

His master had said before that Pile Methods are divided into Form Piles and Mental Piles. For a Standing Pile, one must comprehend not only the physical form, but also the intent.

To be honest, though, when he practiced the Wild Bull Qi Strength Pile, the so-called Mental Pile hadn’t left much of an impression on him... or rather, he wasn’t entirely sure what effect it actually had.

He just knew that during Standing Pile, using ’Contemplation’ to picture a wild bull made it easier to enter the proper state, to find the feeling of ’Body Transformation into a Fierce Bull,’ and to grasp how to generate force.

But beyond that, there seemed to be nothing else.

But now, the panel had isolated ’Intent’ as its own category... which meant there was still something here that Qin Fang hadn’t yet grasped...

And that something was the difference between Anjin and Huajin!

’Comprehend... intent?’

’And be able to achieve Seeing God?’

Qin Fang murmured.

’But what is this ’God’?’

He was very puzzled by this.

But the effects of his Epiphany were still lingering. He closed his eyes, stopped pondering the so-called ’God,’ and focused on earnestly sensing the ’Intent.’

At this stage, things were finally starting to get a little mystical. It was no longer about just methodically performing the Standing Pile and Refining Strength...

Instead, it was about a profound, almost esoteric, level of comprehension.

He imagined himself as a great serpent coiled on the ground. As his body writhed, it generated force inch by inch. This feeling of power, with every movement, was a transformation from absolute stillness to explosive motion...

’It seems I’m on the verge of another new insight?’

Qin Fang immersed himself completely in this state of comprehension...

From time to time, his body let out a CRACKLING sound as bursts of flickering Force erupted from him, shattering the falling water...

The Force circulating around his body began to grow more condensed and formidable.

「Two hours later.」

Qin Fang exhaled a long breath. With a single movement, he vanished from beneath the waterfall like a phantom, reappearing at its edge.

His master was watching from the side. He stared at Qin Fang, his gaze as sharp as lightning, and finally broke into a smile.

”Very good... Endless Circulation... It seems you’ve fully entered the Late Anjin Stage.”

The Late Anjin Stage was the same level his master was currently at.

It was just that his master had traveled further along this path.

Qin Fang let out a soft breath and bowed. ”Yes, Master.”

A pang of jealousy shot through his senior brother as he watched Qin Fang. He himself was still struggling in the early stage!

’My own junior brother has already reached the Late Anjin Stage?!’

’...Was it really that smooth for him?’

’Did he really just ignore the bottleneck and break through in one go?’

’He’d eaten his fair share of Bee Meat and the mysterious liquid during this time, too.’

’So why hadn’t he broken through yet?’

The whole situation left his senior brother feeling a bit dazed.

”Next, you must continue to feel the intent. Only by refining your intent to its absolute limit can you achieve Seeing God and break through to Huajin... As for how to do that, you can only rely on your own comprehension. I have nothing more to teach you... Even with the same Spiritual Snake Listening Wave Pile, different people will grasp a different intent.”

The master sighed.

If they were in a formal martial arts school, Qin Fang’s current situation would be considered a ’graduation’...

Because his master had nothing left to teach him.

”Yes.”

But Qin Fang remained as respectful as ever toward his master.

...No matter what level his cultivation reached, he clearly remembered that if it weren’t for this old man, he would have died last year.

Moreover, his master treated him this way without asking for anything in return.

That was what made it all the more precious.

Therefore... his master’s place in his heart was irreplaceable.

Looking at the disciple who remained so respectful before him, the master smiled, a competitive spark igniting in his eyes.

”Good. Since you’ve already taken this step, I, as your master, can’t just let you catch up so easily... In that case, today, I too shall break through this barrier and see for myself what the view is like from the Realm of Huajin!”

With those words, the master’s figure flickered, and he leaped toward the waterfall.

He was going to attempt a breakthrough!

Qin Fang and his senior brother’s pupils contracted. They watched on, a worried expression on their faces.

...They hadn’t forgotten that the last time their master had failed his breakthrough, he had coughed up blood.
