My Martial Arts Level Never Drops

Chapter 224: Chapter 131: Natural Disaster?

A mere voice made all three of them—master and disciples—cough up blood?!

What in the hell was this power?!

The three of them stared into the distance, their expressions contorting in horror.

Then, the frenzied roars grew even more insane. A violent, booming sound echoed from afar as the light in the sky erupted, shattering the clouds... It was as if a great battle had broken out.

Qin Fang watched in terror. Suddenly, his eyes widened, and he shouted sternly, ”To the back of the mountain!”

Although his master and senior brother didn’t know what was happening, they immediately followed Qin Fang down from the summit.

But in the next moment, a deafening RUMBLE—

WHOOSH!~~

An endless gale struck the instant they left the summit, as if a terrifying force had slammed into the mountain, causing the entire ground to shudder violently!

The three men’s faces paled, and they hastily clung to the large trees beside them!

Then, the violent wind, carrying dust that blotted out the sky, swept over them!

The sky instantly turned black, and the lightning was no longer visible.

All they could see was the endless, raging wind.

The snow on the branches was blasted away in an instant. The now-bare trees swayed in the gale before being ripped out by their roots.

Massive trees, wide enough to require several people to encircle, whistled as they scraped past the mountainside...

In a flash, a terrifying gale stronger than any hurricane swept through the area.

The master and senior brother were deathly pale. They were on the leeward side of Old Ox Back, and only by relying on the mountain’s bulk were they not blown away.

Even so, they had to cling desperately to a large tree. The sand and rocks kicked up by the wind battered their bodies relentlessly. Despite being on the sheltered side of Old Ox Back, they couldn’t open their mouths or eyes for a moment.

Their hair was whipped into chaos, the wind blinding them!

...The only thing they could hear was a howling wail, a sound that felt like it would tear their eardrums apart!

Beyond that, the faint sound of a baby’s cry and the rumble of thunder became distinctly layered...

They couldn’t afford to think about anything else, focusing only on hugging the trees for dear life. If they were swept away by this wind, even as Anjin Martial Artists, they would be utterly destroyed, body and soul!

”AHH!!”

A sudden scream pierced Qin Fang’s ears. Startled, he instinctively forced his eyes open and peered into the storm, just in time to see several human-like figures flash past before being swallowed by the black wind, vanishing without a trace...

... ’Were those other survivors who were hiding in the deep mountains?’

Qin Fang watched, stunned.

It wasn’t just people. He saw a wild boar get sucked high into the air, disappearing in the blink of an eye. He saw a striped tiger twisting helplessly in mid-air before it, too, was lost in the dust-filled sky...

The gale wailed and swelled, its powerful force tearing his clothes to shreds...

There was no telling how long the wind raged before it gradually began to subside.

After a long time, the wind stopped.

The lightning in the sky was gone.

Even the screaming had ceased.

A profound silence fell over the world.

All that remained were ragged, hurried breaths...

Qin Fang turned his head and saw his master and senior brother, their faces deathly pale, still clinging to the trees and staring blankly in one direction...

Following their gaze, Qin Fang saw that the face of the opposite mountain was now completely bare. It was as if the entire mountainside had been scoured clean, with every tree gone.

It formed a stark contrast with the dense forest on the mountain’s other side.

The three of them stood stunned for a long while before slowly getting to their feet. They climbed out from the back side of the mountain and returned to the summit. The sight that greeted them made them gasp in shock...

As far as the eye could see, everything had been ravaged by the gale. The mountain path had been blown into a stretch of barren white earth; all the soil and trees had been swept away.

Further in the distance, a column of dust churned tens of thousands of feet into the sky, obscuring everything from view...

But...

The lightning high in the sky had vanished.

The vast, indifferent voice was gone.

Even the screaming had stopped...

”This is...”

The senior brother’s voice trembled as he stared, mesmerized.

”It was caused by... that palm strike...”

Qin Fang’s gaze was also vacant.

...The mere sight of that hand, which had nearly blotted out the sky, had been enough to make one’s heart tremble and soul threaten to shatter.

”This is... a Divine Domain?”

the senior brother murmured.

The master stared blankly for a long time before shaking his head. ”It is a Divine Domain, but... it’s no ordinary one. I fear that being is among the absolute strongest in the entire World...”

Qin Fang trembled from head to toe.

... ’Can the Martial Arts of this World truly reach such a level?!’

”Yue Zhenyuan...”

he thought blankly.

That was what the screaming voice had shouted. It sounded like a name.

... ’Is that the name of the one who owns that giant hand?’

He remained stunned for a moment, then something suddenly occurred to him.

”Damn it, Mistress and the others!”

The master and senior brother snapped back to their senses, their expressions changing drastically. No longer caring about their shock, the three of them immediately raced down the mountain!

... ’Even we coughed up blood, and then a storm that terrifying passed through... Surely nothing happened to the people at the foot of the mountain?!’

The three figures sprinted rapidly, and it wasn’t long before they reached the shelter.

When they saw the state of the shelter, after a moment of stunned silence, all three let out a long sigh of relief...

”Brother Qin!”

”Brother Qin!”

”Old Master...”

The shelter was also in chaos; the entire bamboo structure had been blown apart.

But the Mistress and the others seemed to be all right.

...Thankfully, the spot Xiao Qi had found was surrounded by mountains on all sides and encircled by a dense bamboo forest.

During the storm, the surrounding mountains had blocked the vast majority of the wind.
