THE GOD EATER

In total, 18 Supreme Metacs were produced. Because he had watched the entire process and had mastered many pathways before, he was able to use the copies of their Divine Metacs, which he made before upgrading them to Divine Metacs, to reproduce their Supreme Metacs.

So he didn’t need to kill them to get their Supreme Metacs. This was very important since he was still under oath.

He had promised not to kill them intentionally. Since the Dao Lords didn’t interfere because he didn’t give them time to interfere, he still had to uphold his part of the deal.

So he couldn’t kill them to get their Supreme Metacs. Fortunately, he didn’t need to kill them. He was even able to get and finish the Supreme Metacs of the three idiots who failed.

Therefore, he already got 21 Supreme Metacs to show for his efforts. The problem was that most of the Supreme Metacs belonged to pathways that he had already mastered.

Of the seven who managed to upgrade their Supreme Metacs, three made Grand Daos while the remaining four made Major Daos. He already had all four Major Daos. Only the Grand Daos provided something new to him.

He gained the Conquering Supreme Metac and the Farming Supreme Metac from them. He didn’t have either of them before, so they became part of his repertoire now.

Despite gaining so few Grand Daos and no Cosmic Daos, he wasn’t angry. He didn’t think he had wasted his time because their Supreme Metacs were only part of the reason he helped them advance.

In the spiral hallway, the four wolves fought a hard, long battle with Bush Boy, and three of them died in the process. But they eventually won and managed to kill Bush Boy’s avatar.

Unfortunately, Bush Boy had no intention of returning for another round. He had recognized the white wolf after a few seconds of trying and failing to kill them.

When he died, he roared, saying, ”Damn you, Ragnarok!!!”

He didn’t have the confidence to compete with Loki in the lower realm, so he gave up. As with many other Geminis Loki had offended, he immediately took out his communication artifact and complained to the caretakers about Loki.

Meanwhile, within the World Pump, a ball of silver dust was left behind after Bush Boy died. The wolf took it in its mouth and brought it to Loki, increasing his good mood.

But Loki was already in a good mood because his invasion succeeded, and he would be paid for it soon. There was also the fact that he had finally formed a divine army that could invade worlds on his behalf.

In front of him stood 18 Rank 9 Dao Initiates and 126 Rank 8 divine beings. This was the main reason he helped them to advance.

’What I need to do next is find worlds for them to establish their Domains. Then they can invade worlds for me while I return to helping my 12 large worlds to advance.’

’Everything is coming together well,’ he thought with satisfaction.

Meanwhile, the World Pump was still extracting the large world. When it was done, he would take the world essence that he extracted and give it to Titan. Titan, in turn, would give him a World Pump in exchange for his services.

He could take that World Pump and use it to invade other worlds. According to their agreement, he could use the World Pump on every world except the ones belonging to Titan. This is the best deal he could get from the Gemini younglings, and he is satisfied with it.

’Who should I invade first?’ he asked him.

’I think I should wait for their worlds to become super worlds before I use the World Pump on them. That way, I can maximize my benefits. A World Pump is a consumable, after all.’

’In the meantime, these 18 Dao Initiates will lead armies working for me in invading worlds. I will pocket the payment from the Gemini younglings that hire me.’

’I’ll strengthen them as best as I can before sending them to work. After that, they are on their own. If they die during their invasions, that’s on them. After all, I’ve done my best, and they owe me for helping them to advance,’ he thought mercilessly.

He thought about his plans when the last wolf returned with the Nanite Transformation Supreme Metac. He received it and smiled before deactivating the wolf manifestation.

Then he said to his army, ”We are nearly done here. We just need to wait for the World Pump to finish its job.”

Just then, the glass shield around the world flickered rapidly. As it flickered, it became fainter.

With one last flicker, the glass shield disappeared, opening the world to indiscriminate attacks. The world was now unprotected, so Loki could reach it without going through the long route.

This made him chuckle and say, ”What had gotten into Bush Boy’s head? Does he think this will get me to stop using the World Pump?”

”No, thank you. Why mess with something that’s already working?”

The World Pump was no longer attached to the glass shield, but it was still operating. It still produced a pillar of light that pierced the world, stirring and churning it before extracting its value and sending it to the World Pump’s core.

Loki didn’t intend to go down into the world to fight Bush Boy and was content to stay where he was, in relative safety. He could destroy the entire world if he wanted to. After all, it was a medium world.

Even super worlds were not safe from him. But he wasn’t willing to take the risk. He just wanted to finish what he started without complications and return as soon as possible.

But Bush Boy was intent on complicating things. The true body of the disgruntled Gemini youngling tore open a rift and appeared above the world.

Then he shouted, saying, ”This is a world free for anyone to take. If you’re interested, come and get it.”
