THE GOD EATER

To keep the fulcrum stable, Loki needed to make an anchor to fix it in place. The anchor he chose involved a Divine Position. It was a Rank 8 Divine Position, to be exact.

He threw the Divine Position into the wolf manifestation, causing its body to solidify. This way, even without his help, the wolf manifestation would be able to maintain a Rank 8 Dao Status.

But this was only half of the equation. So far, the lever had achieved internal stability. To ensure that external factors wouldn’t shake and move the lever, he opened a rift into the lower realm and tossed the wolf into it.

As the wolf left the upper realm, he controlled it to enter the Blessed Heaven World. Specifically, he made it enter the divine constellation of the third dimension. From there, he anchored the wolf to his Supreme Metac like any other Divine Position belonging to any other Divine Being.

He thought that this was a good position for it because very few people could reach the divine constellation and tamper with it. Even he couldn’t interact with the divine constellation directly until he became a Rank 9 Dao Initiate with a Supreme Metac.

”That’s how you do it,” he said, praising himself.

”Now that it has been installed as a Divine Position, it will gain access to the infinite life energy of the Blessed Heaven World. So the energy cost will be borne by the Blessed Heaven World.”

”The lever will use me as the effort to produce power, and the power will come out of the Domain Power Metac. That way, mortals won’t have to produce the power at all. They will be able to enjoy the power directly without the risk of dying.”

”As for me, I will bear all of the Entropy and the cost of lifespan of the power produced. In this case, I dare to call the project a success,” he said with pride.

The Domain Power Metac has been changed too. It is no longer a Core Metac, and it is no longer producing Domain Power.

The Rank 8 Lever Divine Artifact is the one producing all of the power in conjunction with him. The revamped Domain Power Metac only serves as the outlet for that power.

The Domain Power Metac is now a tap in a water supply system. The mortals get to control how much water comes out of it, so they are not overwhelmed by the Domain Power. And the tap isn’t heavy, so it won’t crush their Energy Well.

The next step was to introduce the Domain Power Metac to his disciples and watch its impact on the world. Since everything was ready, he didn’t hesitate to add the Domain Power Metac to the Devouring Supreme Metac and have the projection of his Divine Spirit in the divine constellation announce it to his disciples.

He wanted to see how it would work before he made more to install in the other super worlds his Domains were established on. That way, he could fix any issues that appeared before mass production.

In the Blessed Heaven World, Black Chain’s avatar was still shouting and saying, ”The Olympic Sect is lying and cheating mortals. It is stealing lifespan from mortals.”

”The Nature Sect paid a high price to buy the Life Value Meter and expose the truth. But Ragnarok, the lord of the Olympic Sect, destroyed the evidence.”

”I tried to stop him from destroying the evidence. Unfortunately, I failed. He was too weak to fight me, so he ganged up on me with his fellow evil doers like the Apex God and the Ancient Sect.”

”The Olympic Sect is vile and evil. Avoid it at all costs,” he screamed impassionately.

With a Dao Lord shouting day and night about how evil a sect was, even if that Dao Lord was lying, the mortals would have to think twice before joining that sect. But if the mortals think that the shouting Dao Lord was telling the truth, then the effect would be worse.

Because of the constant slander, even people who had joined the Olympic Sect and had advanced to Rank 2 through it were beginning to consider quitting the sect and risking their lives to restart at Rank 1.

This could be the only source of satisfaction in Black Chain’s life lately. This Dao Lord of the Four Directions Sect had been experiencing a series of losses recently and urgently needed a victory. Watching the Olympic Sect fall apart in real time because of his effort gave him the victory he needed.

He was so invested in his work that he projected his full attention into the divine constellation to control everything directly. So it wasn’t just a projection of his mind shouting every day, day and night. His Divine Spirit was directly responsible for executing the smear campaign.

Black Chain was doing his usual public service when he saw a white wolf with a silver ring around its neck enter the divine constellation and install itself around Ragnarok’s Supreme Metac.

”What is that lucky upstart up to?” he asked, confused with a hint of wariness.

He didn’t think Ragnarok deserved all the good things he had achieved. Ragnarok is still a puny one-star celestial that he can crush. In his opinion, most of Ragnarok’s achievements were won with luck.

However, despite how little he thought of Ragnarok’s power and qualifications, it didn’t change the fact that Ragnarok was currently unstoppable in the Sea of Worlds. It also didn’t change the fact that Ragnarok had rarely suffered losses.

Therefore, whenever Ragnarok did anything in the lower realm, he had to pay attention. And if what Ragnarok was doing was something he had never seen before, even before seeing the outcome, he had to be wary of it and prepare for a bad outcome.

As soon as he saw the white wolf, he wanted to destroy it. He didn’t care what it was for and didn’t want to see what it would do. He just wanted to destroy it to avoid any problem it might create.
