THE GOD EATER

The distribution would be just enough so that the Domain Power System becomes popular. Then everyone else in the sect who can buy it if they want it.

He should have waited for his divine disciples to bring spirit creatures to him. But he created phantom arms to grab the spirit creatures he could find in the Second Heaven. Then he forcibly converted them into law fragments of the Devouring Pathway.

After that, he converted the newly created law fragments into the Domain Power Metac. He did that ten million times, supplying about 1% of his disciples with the Domain Power Metac.

The cost of so much extravagance was ten million years of lifespan. Even the Dao Lords watching, who didn’t know exactly how much he had spent, thought that this was a lot to spend on some mortals.

But Loki felt that it was worth the cost. After all, it was his reputation that was on the line here.

And the ten million years of lifespan seemed to take effect immediately. With one in every hundred disciples holding the Domain Power Metac and wielding it to great effect, the impact on both the disciples of the Olympic Sect and the mortals of the Blessed Heaven World was massive.

Taking the Rank 2 lightning user as an example, with his puny power at 192 units, he could now compete with Rank 4 cultivators. In fact, the lightning user went ahead and did just that in the coming days, cutting down Rank 3 and Rank 4 cultivators here and there.

The lightning user was so effective on his rampage because he had the Power Identification Metac. Thanks to the Power Identification Metac, he could tell who he could fight and who he couldn’t.

So even though he was on a rampage, he wasn’t reckless. His prudence was why he mainly targeted the disciples of the Four Directions Sect.

The disciples of the Four Directions Sect had lost their Supreme Metacs and their Dao Status. Even their Rank 5 cultivators only possessed Rank 1 Dao Status, making them 5 times weaker than their peers.

Without a Dao Status, the disciples of the Four Directions Sect were even weaker, so disciples from the Olympic Sect everywhere bullied them. It became a common sight for a Rank 2 disciple of the Olympic Sect to trade blows with and kill Rank 5 Disciples of the Four Directions Sect.

The Power Identification Metac’s success in helping the Olympic Sect disciples pick the best target helped restore their faith in it. But so far, only the disciples of the Olympic Sect were happy about anything.

Down below in the Blessed Heaven World, the disciples of the Four Directions Sect were being slaughtered everywhere. This pandemic moved to the other super worlds too as soon as Loki installed another lever into the divine constellation.

So in every super world, scenes of the Four Directions Sect disciples dying became common. Very soon, the people of the Four Directions Sect didn’t dare to appear frequently and were always hiding.

It was a violent and shameful sight that made Black Chain unable to speak. Black Chain stopped shouting that the Olympic Sect was a cheater because no one was listening, and because he had lost all credibility as a Dao Lord.

Of course, every sect was suffering at the hands of the Olympic Sect. But at least their Rank 4 disciples could still fight back, compared to the Rank 5 disciples of the Four Directions Sect, who were unable to put up a fight.

So far, the Olympic Sect only had Rank 1 and Rank 2 disciples. The sect was young, and it would take time for Rank 3 disciples to appear. But even without Rank 3 disciples, the Olympic Sect had become the bona fide strongest sect in the Sea of Worlds.

The entire world came to this conclusion because everyone could see that when the Rank 3 disciples in the Olympic Sect finally appeared, they would be able to sweep away the mortals of every other sect.

For example, a disciple like the death user who could produce 702 units of power would produce 2,106 if he were in any sect with a Dao Status of Rank 3. Then, if a Rank 3 disciple like that were in the Olympic Sect, they could produce 4,435,236 units of power.

With a power output of 4,435,236 units of power, a mortal would be able to kill any Rank 5 cultivator of any sect. In fact, this is already the domain of divine beings since 1 million units of mortal power is 1 unit of divine power.

So it was easy to see that by the time Rank 5 cultivators appeared in the Olympic Sect, Rank 6 divine beings in other sects would start falling like chickens if they weren’t careful.

This level of power and potential was why the Olympic Sect was deemed the greatest sect in the Sea of Worlds. The disciples of the Olympic Sect also constantly boosted their reputation as they rampaged through the world, killing disciples of other sects for merit points and doing the work to increase the Olympic Sect’s standing.

In comparison, the Four Directions Sect was collectively accepted as the weakest sect in the Sea of Worlds. Even the disciples of the Four Directions Sect, who spent most of their days hiding like rats, were constantly cursing their Dao Lord for being useless.

With the situation like this, how could Black Chain continue to spend his days slandering the Olympic Sect? He had no right to do so when his sect was in shambles.

Even if he was shameless and wanted to continue ruining Ragnarok’s reputation, which he was, it was of no use because no one was listening to him. He could shout from morning to night, and no one would care.

In fact, Loki used this opportunity to reduce the lifespan bonus for each advancement from 300% to 100%.
