THE GOD EATER

He believed that it was funny that he had not entered the third heaven until this moment because the 3 units of divinity he had in his Divine Strength he possessed corresponded to 3^2, or 9 units of his Body Stat as a divine being. In comparison, he had gained 272 free divinity from the 4-D prototype in his spark of power and 27 free divinity from the Devouring Supreme Metac.

Even if he didn’t have the spark of power and all he had was Fenrir, if the 27 units of divinity from Fenrir were converted to Body Stat of a divine being, he would still have 729 units. Compared to the 9 units he had in the Body Stat as a rank 9 Dao Initiate, the difference is massive.

With a quick calculation, he figured out that 729 units was 81 times as many as 9 units. He thought this was impressive because it was just the power he gained from a single pathway shortly after becoming a Dao Lord.

With his 9 units in the Body Stat and a total of 45 units in his stat as a Dao Initiate, he had been able to kill millions of people in a minute and threatened the stability of a super world. With 27^2 or 729 units, he would have surely been able to do even worse.

Then if the 272 units of divinity were to be converted to the Body Stat, it would be 272^2, which is 73,984. That would be 1,644 times the total amount of stats he had as a Dao Initiate, so he was currently worth 1644 rank 9 divine beings. In his opinion, this kind of power would be enough to destroy the Sea of Worlds.

Just thinking about the possibilities made him chuckle and say, ”No wonder Dao Lords aren’t accepted in the Sea of Worlds. If I had a house, I wouldn’t want a mountain to enter it either.”

After reminiscing, he went back to inspecting the new state of his existence. This time, he went looking at the sources of divinity within him.

The 27 units of divinity were gained when the 27 units of commonality within Fenrir were transformed by the divine crystal. Apparently, the Devouring Supreme Metac has become an engine for converting commonality into divinity.

Likewise, the 272 units of divinity were also gained from converting the commonality in the thirteen cubes with the divine crystal. But unlike the Devouring Supreme Metac, which felt full with the divine crystal and was performing at its limit, the 4-D prototype was barely operational. The feeling was as if he was using subpar fuel to run the 4-D prototype.

This made him scratch his chin, thinking, ’I guess the 4-D prototype needs a 4-D fuel. If it gets the right fuel, maybe it will be able to produce something greater than divinity.’

Then he sighed and thought, ’Unfortunately, I don’t know what fuel it needs. Or maybe I know, but my mind cannot comprehend it.’

’Anyway, this is a good problem to have. I can slowly solve the problem of fuel and many others as I grow stronger. By the time I reach the limit of a 3-D existence, I should have all the knowledge and materials I need to complete the 4-D prototype.’

On the other hand, the Devouring Supreme Metac was working without any issues. Initially, he only had 19 divinity from Fenrir since the dimensions of Fenrir were 9,9,1, containing only 19 units of commonality. But after ascending into the third heaven, Fenrir expanded, and its size became 9,9,9 instead, providing him with 8 more units of divinity at the cost of some lifespan.

When he confirmed this development, he couldn’t help but say, ”So it was the Sea of Worlds limiting the height of Supreme Metacs all along. Without it, a Supreme Metac can become its true size.”

Shaking his head in wonder, he said, ”The third heaven is truly the right place for Dao Lords. It is the right environment to let loose for them.”

”Correspondingly, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to return to the Sea of Worlds like this. Fenrir has expanded beyond what can be accepted, so to return to the Sea of Worlds would be like trying to stuff a ball into a sheet of paper. The states of existence simply don’t match.”

Then he sighed and said, ”There is no use lamenting the loss. I can only look ahead and prepare for the future by spending my divinity.”

As he said this, he began distributing the 27 units of divinity from Fenrir into his divine attributes. But before deciding the distribution rate, he first tested the impact of divinity on the individual divine attributes.

He checked each divine attribute one by one by adding divinity from the spark of power to them. The divinity from the spark of power was not fixed in place and could be moved around at any time, so any placement he made with it was not permanent.

The spark of power granted him complete control of the 272 units of divinity, so he had the luxury of using them for this experiment. Even so, he only took one unit of divinity and moved it around the five divine attributes.

After he checked the impact of one unit of divinity on each divine attribute, he thought, ’For now, there doesn’t seem to be much of a visible impact of Divine Strength, Divine Speed, and Divine Defense. The main ones with an immediate impact are the Divine Spirit and the Divine Perception attributes.’

’Of course, the main reason for this disadvantage is that I am not fighting right now and don’t need the Divine Strength, Divine Speed, and Divine Defense attributes. But even if I am in a fight, both the Divine Spirit and Divine Perception attributes will be useless.’

’So for the divinity from the Fenrir, I should prioritize either the Divine Spirit or Divine Perception attributes.’
