Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1089: The Hammerʼs Power

Immortal Earth felt so magical and complex, and yet, Fierce Breaker felt the insights entering his mind without resistance. Usually, he would feel some excitement about his rapidly growing power, but this time, it just didnʼt feel as important.

The process of comprehending the Law almost seemed more rewarding than receiving the reward.

The hammer kept progressing until it became a Unique Spirit Lord. When that happened, Fierce Breaker took a break and contacted Swamp Dragon.

”What should I use to turn it into a Legendary Spirit Lord?” he asked.

”Kyle used the Law of Karmic Causality to advance,” Swamp Dragon answered, ”but that might not be the best option. You should try to excite the Major Law of Death and use it. If it doesnʼt work, try to use the Law of Karmic Causality.”

”Are you sure that will work?” Fierce Breaker asked, not looking at Swamp Dragon. ”It doesnʼt sound like a good idea to let Death interact with a Spirit.”

”Iʼm 90% sure it will work, but I might also be wrong,” Swamp Dragon answered. ”There hasnʼt been anyone in this Cosmos who has comprehended the Major Law of Death and managed to survive. My knowledge is limited. The only thing Iʼm sure about is that the hammer wonʼt get damaged if you try.”

”I will try the Major Law of Death, then,” Fierce Breaker answered.

Swamp Dragon looked at Fierce Breaker with an even expression. Then, he nodded and left without saying anything else.

After Swamp Dragon left, Fierce Breaker clenched his fists around the hammer.
ʼHas it already gotten this far?ʼ he thought as he tried his best to calm the fire raging inside of him.

Just now, when Fierce Breaker had seen Swamp Dragon, he had felt the urge to kill him.

While Fierce Breaker had felt a bit of animosity towards Swamp Dragon due to all the sacrifices he had forced on other people, he hadnʼt thought about killing him even once.

Until today.

ʼHe probably noticed, and he probably doesnʼt mind,ʼ Fierce Breaker thought. ʼWe both know whatʼs going on.ʼ

Fierce Breaker looked at the hammer. ʼI canʼt lose myself.ʼ

Yet, even though he told himself that he shouldnʼt lose himself, it somehow didnʼt feel as dangerous or bad anymore.

Fierce Breaker sighed before he commanded the hammer to use the Major Law of Death to pull its Spirit into physical reality.

The Energy inside the hammer moved, but...

Nothing happened.

It didnʼt create any Death.

Fierce Breaker tried several different ways to manipulate the hammer to use Death, but no matter what he tried, it just couldnʼt conjure any Death.

ʼIs it because I donʼt know how Death works?ʼ he thought. ʼI know how the Minor Law of Death works, but thatʼs just Energy. I donʼt know how I can create Death.ʼ

ʼI can somewhat use all of the other Laws inside the hammer, including its Imposing Law, but thatʼs because I have insights that connect to these Laws. I have no insights into the Major Law of Death.ʼ

Fierce Breaker tried for quite a while, but he wasnʼt getting anywhere.

ʼGuess itʼs better to use the Law of Karmic Causality. Kyle used it to advance anyway.ʼ

Fierce Breaker gathered his insights into Karmic Luck and told the hammer to use them. Moments later, the hammer activated his Law of Karmic Causality, and several tiny Karmic Lines wrapped around its Spirit.

The Spirit was pulled into physical reality, and an instant later, it started to combine with the hammer. Once more, a storm of Energy appeared, and the hammer grew even harder.

The hammer had become a Legendary Spirit Lord. Even more, it still had almost 120,000 years of longevity left.

As Fierce Breaker perceived the hammer, he became nervous. ʼWhen I got the hammer, I was already a Legendary Spirit Lord, while it had been just a Mortal.ʼ

ʼNow, Iʼm a One-Infused Ascendant, while it is a Legendary Spirit Lord, and yet...ʼ

ʼI feel like I wouldnʼt be able to resist it if it tried to attack me.ʼ

Fierce Breaker swung the hammer casually to try it out. Its weight was more than manageable. It was almost like he was swinging a wooden hammer.

Yet, its durability was nothing but ordinary. Even though it was just a Legendary Spirit Lord, the durability of the hammer could rival the durability of a Mid Ascendant Divine Beastʼs body.

ʼMetal is already the hardest natural category of materials, and the hammerʼs metal can even use a powerful Infused Body Law. I thought that the hammerʼs insane hardness would normalize in later Realms, but...ʼ

ʼI think this is just how hard it is. This hammer might be the hardest material in the entire Cosmos within its Realm.ʼ

Fierce Breaker took out one of his old spears.

BOOOM!

He struck the hammer, but it only vibrated.

BOOOOOOM!

He struck it with even more power, but nothing changed.

Finally, he attacked the hammer with his full power, but the only thing that got damaged was his spear.

A moment later, he held the hammer in his hands again. ʼAs long as I donʼt use its own power against it...ʼ

ʼI canʼt damage it.ʼ

ʼAt least not with physical attacks. If I could develop Spirit Attacks, I could probably damage and maybe even destroy it.ʼ

Fierce Breaker looked at the hammer for a while before he ordered it to undergo its Fusion. The hammer had already created its own Core Spark. The only thing Fierce Breaker had to do was to order the hammerʼs Core Spark to fuse with its body.

The Core Spark dissolved, and moments later, yet another terrifying storm of Energy appeared in the world. For the first time since Fierce Breaker had received the hammer, the hammer had created a more powerful storm of Energy than he could create.

When the Fusion was finished, Fierce Breaker looked at the hammer in awe.

ʼIt is harder than a Late Ascendant Divine Beast. Most likely, when it reaches the Fusion Realm, it will be as durable as a Peak Ascendant Divine Beast.ʼ

ʼJust due to its durability, it can jump almost an entire Realm.ʼ

A dangerous thought went through Fierce Breakerʼs mind.

ʼIf I could harness its power, I might be able to fight the Overseer, assuming I can become a Unique Ascendant.ʼ

Fierce Breaker shook his head. ʼNo! Swamp Dragon told me several times how powerful the Overseer is! I shouldnʼt become arrogant.ʼ

Fierce Breaker gritted his teeth. ʼBut fuck Swamp Dragon! The only things he can do are lie and betray others!ʼ

Fierce Breaker shook his head yet again to get rid of his sudden hatred for Swamp Dragon. ʼCalm down! These are not your emotions! These are Kyleʼs emotions!ʼ

ʼYou need to use the hammer! You must never become the hammer! If you become the hammer, everything will be over! You will die, and your journey will end!ʼ

ʼResist it!ʼ

And yet, Fierce Breakerʼs thoughts were in contrast to his true feelings. He knew that he shouldnʼt become the hammer, but deep inside...

The thought wasnʼt so bad.
