Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1085: Moving Fate

Fierce Breaker swung his hammer without care. From time to time, he started the next Compression, but eventually, he hit another brick wall.

ʼRight, I need to kill three Major Crushers or Peak Crusher beasts for the next advancement,ʼ he remembered. ʼShouldnʼt be too difficult.ʼ

He felt a bit of annoyance when he realized that he had to kill a couple of beasts. He just wanted to swing his hammer more. Why did he have to focus on so many things all of the time?

ʼWait! This is not how you usually think!ʼ Fierce Breaker shouted at himself in his mind as his eyes narrowed. ʼYes, youʼre working on your power, but strengthening the hammer takes a higher priority. You shouldnʼt feel annoyed that youʼre strengthening it.ʼ

Fierce Breaker took a deep breath with closed eyes. ʼThis isnʼt you. You have to remain yourself. The more relaxed you get, the more Kyle will influence you. You are not working together. Itʼs you against him, not you with him.ʼ

ʼOnly one of you two can survive, and you have to remember that!ʼ

Fierce Breaker grabbed the hammer and threw it at a Peak Crusher beast. Just before the hammer hit, Fierce Breaker excited the Energy inside it.

BOOOOOM!

A violent elemental storm came out of the hammer, which turned the beast into ash. Fierce Breaker had to be careful that he didnʼt kill the beasts himself. After all, it had to be the hammer that killed the beasts.

Fierce Breaker saved the Beast Core from getting destroyed before he pushed it into the hammer. He guided the Beast Coreʼs Energy, and it dissolved without issues into the hammer.
ʼThis seems to work. Letʼs continue.ʼ

Fierce Breaker killed another two beasts and fed the Beast Cores to the hammer. Moments later, another small storm of Energy occurred, signaling that the hammer had gone through another advancement.

The hammer became an Advanced Crusher, and Fierce Breaker started the next advancement.

While the advancement was going on, Fierce Breaker kept swinging the hammer.

Even though the Compressions only needed a century each, Fierce Breaker was too enthralled with swinging the hammer, which was why he wasted a couple of centuries. Luckily, Crushers could already live for several millennia.

The hammer became a Fulfilled Crusher and Unique Crusher without issues, but then, Fierce Breaker found another issue.

How was he supposed to turn it into a Legendary Crusher? It needed to create some kind of impact, but didnʼt the hammer already have a huge impact? Several Spirit Lords and even the Overseer were fully focused on it. Their lives essentially revolved around it.

Fierce Breaker closed his eyes and tried to find some kind of guidance as to what the hammer needed to advance. Sadly, he couldnʼt feel anything. After all, he wasnʼt the hammer. How was he supposed to know what someone else needed to advance?

ʼFate must take its course,ʼ Fierce Breaker thought. ʼI canʼt help the hammer since my power is far beyond it. The hammer must take fate into its own hands.ʼ

ʼHands, hah! A hammer with hands,ʼ Fierce Breaker thought as he snorted a quick smile, but moments later, a horrified expression appeared on his face.

ʼWhat was that?!ʼ he thought in shock. ʼAm I usually like this? I donʼt remember the last time I found such a stupid and childish thought amusing.ʼ

Fierce Breaker gritted his teeth. ʼIʼve been careless! I canʼt keep swinging the hammer this freely!ʼ

Fierce Breaker contacted Swamp Dragon, who took the hammer with him. Swamp Dragon would deal with its advancement, and Fierce Breaker would get a break from it.

After leaving, Swamp Dragonʼs Energy entered the hammer, and even he was a bit surprised by what he felt. The Energy inside the hammer was releasing intense fluctuations that influenced the surroundings.

ʼThe Elemental Energies are flowing freely through it,ʼ Swamp Dragon thought. ʼThe mental fluctuations are subtle yet intense. Continuous exposure might change someoneʼs personality drastically.ʼ

Swamp Dragonʼs eyes narrowed. ʼI knew that this would happen, but I hadnʼt expected the fluctuations to be this intense.ʼ

ʼBut thatʼs a good thing.ʼ

After finding an isolated location, Swamp Dragon dug into the ground and created a deep dungeon out of Spacetime Metals. When he was done, he created countless Formation Arrays inside the dungeon.

ʼFate must take its course,ʼ he thought as he placed the hammer and several resources in the dungeon.

Then, he left.

Just a couple of years later, someone found the ”ruins”. They entered, and they were quickly greeted by a message.

”Hahaha! I donʼt know if youʼre blessed with luck or cursed by it! You have entered the Calamity Meteor Ancestorʼs crypt! Escape is impossible! The only way to leave is to pass all of my trials!”

The person who had entered fell into a mix of panic and excitement.

This was just what they needed! They had been chased by the Myriad Beast Fathers for decades! If they could advance a level or two, they could take their revenge!

The trial taker was a Major Crusher, and the reason why they were hunted was precisely the fact that they were a Major Crusher. The group searching for them consisted of three people who were Major Crushers themselves. They wanted to become Advanced Crushers, and the trial taker had just recently left their Organization, which meant they didnʼt have a backer.

The trial taker looked forward with red eyes. Her light-blue hair started to float around her as she readied her External Complex Law.

After a while, she reached the first trial. The trial asked her to demonstrate the power of a Complex Level Three Law. Luckily, she had one.

The second trial asked her to set up a specific Formation Array within a century. Naturally, the trial included the resources and the blueprint.

When she saw the second trial, she snorted. She had dabbled in Formation Arrays for a while, trying to make a name for herself with them. The reason why she had left the Organization was also related to her chosen profession. She wanted more resources to experiment with, but the Organization said that they wouldnʼt waste resources on Formation Arrays. Power was supreme, and Formation Arrays were seen as something external.

She easily completed the second trial, and finally, she reached the last trial.

She had to kill a Peak Crusher Golem.

ʼIf this were a Peak Crusher beast, I would be in a lot of trouble,ʼ she thought. ʼLuckily, this is only a construct that canʼt use any Laws.ʼ

She engaged in battle with the Golem, but the fight didnʼt go as expected.

ʼWhy is it so hard?!ʼ she thought in panic as she avoided yet another hammer strike.

Luckily, the Golem also wasnʼt very fast, which meant that she also wasnʼt in any danger of dying.

Yet, she also couldnʼt win.

Her Energy was recovering faster than it was depleting, but she also couldnʼt destroy the Golem. This turned the fight into a stalemate.

Days passed, and eventually, the door behind her opened.

When she looked back, her eyes widened in horror.

”So, you were here, Vermillion Bride,” one of the three people entering the room commented smugly.

ʼNo!ʼ

ʼThe Myriad Beast Fathers!ʼ

ʼWhy are they here?!ʼ
