Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1810: Chapter 1809: It’s a Girl

Ning Chenyang’s legs were a bit quicker than Ning Chenguang’s, and he was the first to throw himself into An Hao’s arms. His two chubby little arms tightly wrapped around An Hao’s neck, his face lighting up with a smile.

Ning Chenguang was much slower than his brother, but his verbal skills were far better than Ning Chenyang’s.

He pouted his little lips, calling out pitifully, “Mama… hug… hug…”

That soft and tender voice, paired with his sparkling eyes like black grapes, was enough to melt An Hao’s heart. “Come here! Mama will hug both of you!”

Both little ones dove into their mother’s embrace, clinging to her tightly.

An Hao held the two little rascals as she stood up, planting a kiss on the one to her left and then another on the one to her right.

Seeing his wife struggling to hold both children, Qin Jian stepped forward and took one of them from her arms. “Mama must be tired. Let Papa carry one!”

Zhang Yun’s heart blossomed with joy as she looked at her two lovely grandsons.

“Why don’t you take a little more rest? An Hao, you must be exhausted today,” said Ning Yibin.

“No need. We’ve got plans! Gu Shuangshuang gave birth, so we’re heading to the hospital to visit her,” An Hao responded.

“She gave birth? So soon? Is it a boy or a girl?” Zhang Yun, who had always had a fondness for Gu Shuangshuang, was genuinely happy for her upon hearing the news.

“We don’t know yet,” An Hao said with a smile, pursing her lips. “Tian Niu was so ecstatic that he forgot to tell us the baby’s gender! So, we figured we’d go see for ourselves.”

“Alright then. Go and come back quickly,” Zhang Yun said with a clap of her hands and reached out toward An Hao’s arms, addressing the little ones. “Come here! Come to Grandma!”

Ning Chenyang didn’t say a word. He turned his face away and clung tightly to An Hao’s neck, refusing to let go.

“What’s this? Saw your mother and forgot all about Grandma?” Zhang Yun deliberately put on a stern face, hoping Ning Chenyang would change his mind and come to her.

But the little guy glanced at her once and outright ignored her.

As for Ning Chenguang, he also seemed to understand what Grandma was aiming for. He pouted his little lips and clearly enunciated a single word: “No!”

“In that case, we’ll just take them along with us,” An Hao said with a smile, kissing Ning Chenyang again.

“Come back early! These two little ones will soon be ready for their nap,” Ning Yibin remarked without even looking up from his newspaper.

“Alright. You all rest early too,” Qin Jian said as he carried Ning Chenguang, walking out the front door in confident strides.

After more than half an hour’s drive, they smoothly arrived at the hospital.

When Qin Jian and his wife entered the hospital room, they saw the family gathered around the newborn, joyfully teasing the tiny baby.

Tian Niu was grinning ear to ear as he watched the soft, pink little bundle of life, his excitement making him rub his hands together non-stop.

“Congratulations on leveling up!” Qin Jian walked in with big strides, still holding the little one from their family.

“Captain! Sister-in-law! You’re here?” Tian Niu was so surprised that he didn’t expect them to arrive so quickly.

“We heard Shuangshuang gave birth, and An Hao couldn’t stay still. So, here we are, the four of us. We came in such a hurry that we didn’t even prepare a gift!” Qin Jian said with a laugh.

“What gift? Just having you here already makes me overjoyed!” Tian Niu beamed so widely that his mouth could barely close. “Come in, come in! No need for introductions, you already know my in-laws, right?”

“Yes, we’re acquainted,” Qin Jian greeted each person warmly.

“Come on in! Come take a look at my little treasure,” Duan Aihua eagerly beckoned Qin Jian and An Hao over to see their baby girl. “It’s a girl!”
