[Man… you’re practically a walking treasure trove now…] With a rare hint of admiration, Yu Zi Yu’s lips curled into a faint smile.

Even the seemingly unremarkable straw sandals on Brewmaster’s feet were woven from the hide of a Tier-4 Flood Dragon. He was, without a doubt, living an exceptionally extravagant life.

However, after giving it another thought, Yu Zi Yu found it reasonable.

After all, Brewmaster was the upon further thought, Yu Zi Yu understood.

After all, this Iron-Eating Beast, was now the Chief Smith of the Demon Court. In a sense, he was the face of the Demon Court. In fact, even experts from other Forces were willing to pay exorbitant sums to commission Artifacts from him.

For instance, the Titan Clan’s Mountain Titan once shamelessly requested Old Ninth to craft him a suit of armor.

Naturally, Brewmaster demanded a steep price in order to craft a Tier-5 suit of armor for Mountain Titan. He had even collected enough materials to forge 3-4 Tier-5 armors.

The Titan Clan was not exactly known for its expertise in forging. So, when it came to these matters, they were completely clueless.

Whatever materials Old Ninth requested, they simply handed over without question.

As a result, the seemingly simple and honest Old Ninth not only managed to secure materials far beyond what was necessary but also swindled Mountain Titan while addressing him as ‘Daoist Brother.’

To make matters even funnier, Mountain Titan, oblivious to the ruse, was so pleased with the armor’s quality that he felt nothing but immense gratitude toward Old Ninth.

This incident had since become one of the rare jokes shared within the Demon Court.

“Master… heh heh… I heard you’ve been walking the mortal world in a Human Form lately, so I went ahead and made you a new outfit…” Chuckling heartily, Old Ninth took out a box from his Storage Ring.

Then, as he opened it—

*Booooom…* A dazzling golden light burst forth, revealing a meticulously folded, luxurious purple-gold robe.

“I wove it from a thousand-year-old Snow Silk and infused it with Phoenix Blood…It took me a full hundred days to complete…” Explained Old Ninth with a wide grin spread across his face, a trace of smugness flickering in his expression.

It was as if he were silently saying, ‘Go on, praise me! Go on, give me some credit!’

“You…” A soft chuckle escaped Yu Zi Yu. Clearly, he was quite satisfied with the Tier-5 Spirit Robe.

Putting everything aside, just its appearance alone was impeccable. Nonetheless, this was not the reason Yu Zi Yu had summoned Old Ninth.

So, he quietly accepted the gifts, and focused on the task at hand. His gaze shifted over the figures scattered across his massive form—figures such as Bosun, the God-Devouring Rat, who were deep in training, and he stated his purpose, “This time, I summoned you here to have you craft some weapons and Spirit Robes tailored for these little ones.”

“Ah, I see…” A wide grin appeared on Old Ninth’s face as realization dawned upon him.

This was, after all, part of his duties.

However, as if struck by a thought, Old Ninth proactively asked, “Master… any special requirements?”

Hearing this, the corner of Yu Zi Yu’s lips curled into a smile as he replied, “There is one, actually.”

Without any pretense, Yu Zi Yu stated directly, “When you craft these little ones’ weapons, be sure to incorporate some Divine Metal. These weapons are likely to become their Natal Artifacts, so the quality needs to be top-notch. Secondly, for Quinn, my Little Sister, craft ten coins using Phoenix-Blood Purple Gold. As one of the Nine Divine Metals, it should possesses self-regeneration properties. No matter how much damage it endures, with enough time, it will restore itself. This way, the Artifacts from this metal should perfectly suit Quinn…”

Listening to Yu Zi Yu’s requirements calmly, Old Ninth nodded in understanding.

However, as if recalling something, a look of exasperation crossed its face as it grumbled, “Master, you’re really making things difficult for me… crafting Artifacts with Phoenix-Blood Purple Gold is beyond my usual reach…”

“I believe you can do it.” Amused laughter filled the air as Yu Zi Yu pretended not to notice the distress plastered across Old Ninth’s face.

While Yu Zi Yu might not know the exact details, he was certain Old Ninth could refine Phoenix-Blood Purple Gold. It would just take a bit more effort, and Old Ninth, above all else, hated trouble.

Of course, Old Ninth was just grumbling in a half-joking manner.

When it came down to it, Old Ninth would undoubtedly do his best. After all, he had always been entirely devoted to carrying out Yu Zi Yu’s orders.

With a faint smile, Yu Zi Yu condensed dozens of drops of vibrant, emerald-green Life Essence from his branches.

“This is high-purity Life Essence, condensed from my True Body. For an ordinary Tier-5, even a single drop would be enough to blow up their body. Use it carefully…” With a soft reminder, Yu Zi Yu placed the Life Essence into a jade-like porcelain bottle and casually tossed it to Old Ninth.

He had always held a fondness for Old Ninth in particular.

He was simple, honest, and focused on his craft. He was a workaholic, completely dedicated to his work.

Thus far, he had forged over a hundred Tier-5 Artifacts for the Demon Court.

Even more impressively, Old Ninth had already created the embryonic forms of two Tier-6 Artifacts.

In just half a year, these Artifacts would be born.

And this also meant that the power of the Demon Court’s upper echelon would rise to a whole new level.

After all, external tools were an extension of one’s combat strength.

And once Old Ninth had mastered the art of crafting true Tier-6 Artifacts, it was conceivable that the other experts of the Demon Court, the Society of Demons and Fiends, and even Yu Zi Yu’s other Forces would each be wielding Tier-6 Artifacts, which would ultimately increase their combat strength by 30–40%.

For some, acquiring an Artifact perfectly suited to their abilities could boost their strength by 70–80%, or even double it.

Such was the remarkable value of Old Ninth’s talent.

He was truly one of the Demon Court’s greatest treasures.

Indeed, the title ‘Treasure of the Demon Court’ was no exaggeration when referring to him.

Even figures like Nine Tails and Sarcosuchus had explicitly stated that no matter how fierce a battle became, Old Ninth was not to participate.

His worth lay not on the battlefield, but in the continuous creation of peerless Artifacts for the Demon Court.
