The birth of the universe also brought the Void Space into existence. It was like the back side of the cosmos, representing an unknowable nothingness beyond the boundaries of realms.

To some extent, it resembled an insatiable hunger, an eternal beast waiting for its meal over countless ages. Until nature’s selection unfolded, and Void Emperors rose to power one after another.

At their commands, countless Void Creatures became an unstoppable torrent, surging out of Void Space to erode, dissolve, and destroying all things.

This was the Void Space, and this was the most terrifying law of Void Space!

Now… as Yu Zi Yu’s Purple Dragon gave out a roar, the long-slumbering Void finally awakened.

As a matter of fact, Yu Zi Yu’s Purple Dragon was no ordinary existence: It was the first-ever Void Emperor, and also the most powerful Void Emperor to this day.

While other Void Creatures and Myriad Races had no idea about this, the Void Space knew. It was engraved upon the very essence of Yu Zi Yu’s Purple Dragon Form, like an indelible brand.

Thus, Yu Zi Yu’s call was unlike any other: It was the war horn sounded by the first and strongest Void Emperor!

*Roooooooaaar…* A sudden, domineering roar reverberated through the Void Space, shaking its very fabric.

Following the roar, a colossal Humanoid creature, towering like a mountain, slowly stood up. It had no hair, and its entire body was covered in violet scales. Its facial features were indistinct. The only thing that was faintly discernible was a vertical eye at the center of its forehead, flickering intermittently.

This was a Void Creature, and an unimaginably powerful one at that.

Its aura alone put him in Tier-5. And its body radiated an overwhelming vitality, putting him on par with Gods and Demons.

Judging by his features, this body appeared to belong to the Three-Eyes Divine Clan, now corrupted and consumed by the Void, as evidenced by the third eye on his forehead.

At this moment, the violet vertical eye on his forehead flickered as he murmured, “The Oldest Emperor… is calling us…”

With these words, the Void Creature, without a moment of hesitation, took a step, striding purposefully toward the source of the sound.

It had once heard the call of Fallen Titan, another Void Emperor. However, Fallen Titan, as a Void Emperor, he believed, could be surpassed given enough time. Only this one, the oldest, with the potential to ascend as a Hegemon, was worthy of his loyalty. The loyalty of the Eighteenth Void King of Solitude.

…

At the same time, at the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy…

*Caw…* A piercing, ferocious cry suddenly erupted within the Void Space.

Looking up, one could see an enormous, unfathomable purple bird.

*Booooom…* Spreading his wings, which were vast as continents, he stirred a seemingly endless expanse of purple clouds, as this gargantuan, incredible bird shot toward the direction of the Dragon Roar like a meteor.

“I am the Thirty-Sixth Void King of Wings…” He declared.

…

At the same time…

“I’ve finally waited long enough for you, Oldest Void Emperor!” A sudden burst of laughter echoed throughout the Void Space.

And in the next moment—

*Swooooosh…* A streak of light zipped across, as if teleporting, leaving countless afterimages in its wake across the Void Space.

Upon closer inspection, it was a strange beast resembling a Leopard but bearing purple wings.

This was the fearsome Third Void King of Envy.

The Void King of Envy, upon sensing the ascent of Yu Zi Yu’s Purple Dragon, stepped into Tier-5 driven purely by envy.

Thus, by chance, it became connected to Yu Zi Yu’s Purple Dragon.

However, because of the same envy, the Void King of Envy had been stuck at the Late Stage of Tier-5, unable to advance even a step further.

The one who ties the knot must untie it. So, it had been waiting, waiting endlessly…

And now, it had finally heard the call of the Oldest Void Emperor!

“Let’s see who you really are!” The Void King of Envy sneered.

With rare laughter, the Void King of Envy leapt across the Void Space in an instant, heading deep into its boundless expanse.

…

The Void Space was thoroughly shaken.

At least the part of Void Space behind the Milky Way was shaken to its very core.

Most Void Creatures, with only the most primal cognitive abilities, instinctively chose to follow the Void Emperor.

The few who had awakened their intellect, however, hesitated only briefly before making their way toward Purple Dragon.

Compared to the previous call of Fallen Titan, Yu Zi Yu’s current summons was nearly ten times more impactful.

Whether in terms of quantity or quality, it was unmatched.

To put it into perspective, during Fallen Titan’s initial call, only a single Tier-5 Void Creature responded.

But now, Yu Zi Yu’s Dragon Roar alone had stirred no fewer than five Tier-5 Void Creatures.

Thus, it was no surprise that the Void Space surrounding Yu Zi Yu surged with vibrant purple energy, echoing with a cacophony of roars and cries. One fearsome creature after another kept arriving.

The sheer scale of Void Energy that this drew forth was incomparably vast.

Faced with this sight, even Yu Zi Yu was dumbfounded, utterly so.

Because, after his summons, he suddenly realized he was receiving countless responses.

*Rooooaar, rooooaar, rooooaar…*

*Screeech, screech, screeech…*

Amid the cacophony of bizarre howls and growls, image after image flooded Yu Zi Yu’s mind.

These were all Void Creatures answering his call, willingly offering themselves as his subjects.

And as for the rest, they hesitated but were making their way toward him to confirm for themselves.

Some simply needed to confirm, and even after confirming, whether they would pledge their allegiance was something they would carefully deliberate.

After all, becoming the subject of a Void Emperor was equivalent to entrusting their very life and death to them.

Even Void Creatures, as instinct-driven as they were, would treat such matters with caution.

“I feel like I might’ve done something monumental…” Yu Zi Yu murmured in an incredulous voice, the corner of his eyes twitching.

The information conveyed from the depths of Void Space had already made him realize something: Since, Yu ZI Yu had sounded the war horn, under the identity of the ‘oldest and the strongest Void Emperor,’ this also meant that if he did not create a sufficiently massive Void Gate for all the Void Creatures to pour through, to indulge in their rampage and erosion…

What awaited him was the most terrifying form of Void Backlash, one strong enough to reduce his Purple Dragon to ruin!
