“When Zi Lian completes his breakthrough and attains the title of Void Emperor, the plan can more or less begin,” Murmured Yu Zi Yu, his gaze becoming increasingly profound. Deep within his eyes, a faint divine glow seemed to stir, as if something extraordinary was about to take shape.

The plan, naturally, needed no elaboration: It was to hunt for Imperial Artifacts.

As Imperial Artifacts possessed sentience; the term ‘hunt’ was fitting.

Yu Zi Yu never considered Imperial Artifacts to be mere tools. To him, they were more like Gods and Demons walking beneath the starlit skies.

However, most Imperial Artifacts today were damaged, unable to display their full power.

Among the ones Yu Zi Yu knew of, only the Primordial Imperial Artifact, the Eastern Emperor Bell, which had not appeared for tens of epochs, remained at its peak strength.

Of course, as the so called most terrifying Imperial Artifact in countless epochs, it was not surprising that the Eastern Emperor Bell retained its full power. After all, across the eras, Imperial Artifacts rarely made an appearance. Era after era of accumulation, maintaining peak strength seemed only natural.

Moreover, Yu Zi Yu had no doubts that the Eastern Emperor Bell could withstand the End of Eras. While other Imperial Artifacts might not be capable of such a feat, but as an Innate Imperial Artifact, excelling equally in offense and defense, the Eastern Emperor Bell was undoubtedly among the few that stood a chance.

Of course, this was merely Yu Zi Yu’s speculation.

It was far more likely that the Eastern Emperor Bell had chosen to seal itself, concealing its true form. By doing so, it might also stand a chance against the End of Eras.

Smiling faintly to himself, Yu Zi Yu chose not to dwell further.

The Eastern Emperor Bell’s level was far too high, an existence utterly beyond Yu Zi Yu’s current reach. He believed that it was more feasible to target these damaged Imperial Artifacts.

Having set his mind, Yu Zi Yu’s corners of lips curled into a slight smile, while his consciousness shifted to the deep recesses of the Nine Realms, to his Purple Dragon Form.

*Roooooaaar…* Giving out a thunderous roar, Yu Zi Yu’s massive body sliced through the barriers of the Nine Realms, slithering into the Void Space.

The Void Space was Purple Dragon’s backyard. The moment he entered the Void Space, copious amounts of Void Energy streamed toward him, illuminating the surroundings in a hazy purple glow.

*Hooooo…* Parting his jaws slightly, Purple Dragon took a long deep breath. Right afterward, an incomprehensible wild and untamed power started brewing within him.

Suddenly…

“Rooooaaar…” A deafening Dragon Roar reverberated, shaking the entire Void Space.

Along with it, ripples of violet energy, visible to the naked eye, spread outward in waves, expanding in all directions.

This was Purple Dragon’s Roar, but it wasn’t an ordinary Dragon Roar, for this extremely long roar carried the aura of the Void Emperor.

In other words, this was a call from the Void Emperor.

*Rooooaaar…* The ever-rising Dragon Roar echoed across the dazzling, chaotic Void Space, reverberating endlessly.

It was akin to a war horn, carrying an inexplicable terror.

And it was indeed nothing short of a war horn, because this Dragon’s roar signified that Yu Zi Yu, as the Void Emperor, was about to launch a war upon the universe, and was asking the countless slumbering Void Creatures to respond to the call.

The Void Space was no different than a prison, a prison that had confined countless Void Creatures.

They yearn,

They pray,

And they wait, waiting for an emperor to open the gates of Void Space and lead them into the universe, where they would carry out a Void Feast.

Back when Fallen Titan ascended to Tier-6 and got crowned as a Void Emperor, he did the same. Countless Void Creatures slumbering within the hidden depths of Void Space on the backside of the Titan Divine Realm had responded to his call.

In just two short years, he had amassed an army of one million Void Creatures.

Unfortunately, during the invasion of the Titan Divine Realm, the Eternal Titan chose to awaken the Crown of Titan God, which ultimately annihilated the Void Army.

Now… another Void Emperor had blown the war horn once again.

As a matter of fact, such a Void Horn could not be blown recklessly.

Once blown, the Void Creatures that had responded to the call would all become subjects of the Void Emperor, and at that point, it would be the Void Emperor’s responsibility to protect them. It would also be his duty to open the gates of Void Space and lead them to ravage the universe.

If the Void Emperor failed in any of this, the rebellious will of the Void Creatures would manifest as the most terrifying Void Backlash.

At best, it would cause the Void Emperor to fall in rank. At worst, it would result in the utter annihilation of the Void Emperor’s body and Soul.

This was no exaggeration.

If the Void Creatures summoned by Yu Zi Yu this time exceed one million, the Void Backlash alone would be enough to seriously injure him.

However, after reflecting upon it, Yu Zi Yu found this unlikely.

Back then, Fallen Titan had to call over ten times in two years to gather an army of one million. So, Yu Zi Yu did not expect to amass a million-strong army with just one call.

In fact, the number of Void Creatures responding to the call served as a proof of the Void Emperor’s power.

After all, to gain the recognition of countless Void Creatures with just a sound and a fragment of will was no simple feat.

However, what Yu Zi Yu failed to anticipate was that his call had far exceeded his wildest imagination…

*Rooooaar, rooooaar…* Yu Zi Yu’s majestic roar echoed across every corner of Void Space again and again.

However, this was not the most terrifying part.

The truly terrifying aspect was the speed and range of Yu Zi Yu’s roar. It far surpassed that of other Void Emperors.

In just half an hour, his roar had spread to the Void Space behind both the Titan Star Domain and the Angel Star Domain.

What kind of concept is this?

Fallen Titan’s call had only resonated through half a Star Domain, but Yu Zi Yu’s very first call had already reached three Star Domains away.

*Growl… Growl…* Low growls followed one after another as countless slumbering Void Creatures began to awaken, lifting their gazes.

Cold, emotionless eyes, deep with violet hues, all turned toward the direction of the Dragon’s roar.

“The Emperor is calling…”

“And it’s no ordinary Emperor…”

Their growls were like an exchange of psychic thoughts. One Void Creature after another could not help but be shaken.

Soon, streams of violet light streaked through the Void, rushing toward the source of the Dragon Roar.

Author’s Note:

The Void Emperor, while calling for countless Void Creatures, also shoulders the responsibility of protecting them and finding sustenance for them.

If he fails, the rebellious will of the Void Creatures—like Human uprisings—will form a resistance strong enough to severely injure the Void Emperor.

Additionally, when the Void Emperor calls for countless Void Creatures, the Void Creatures themselves can assess whether following him is worth it.

This is the Law of the Void: the construction of an empire, where the strong reign supreme.
