Not long after, watching the three Transcendent Monk Vultures carrying Brewmaster, Nine Tails, and White Snake disappear into the distance, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes narrowed slightly.

If everything went well, these six Transcendents were more than capable of seizing the Ice-Attribute Spirit Stone Mine.

After all, Nine Tails and Brewmaster, two Tier-2 Transcendents were more than enough for the combat part. Furthermore, they also had the aerial support of three Transcendent Monk Vultures.

As for White Snake, she was just joining them as a guide.

However, as a beloved child of the Ice Element, it would be advantageous for White Snake to have early access to the Ice-Attribute Spirit Stone Mine.

Yu Zi Yu hoped that their journey would be smooth and without obstacles.

After taking a deep look at the sea of fire that had already disappeared into the horizon, Yu Zi Yu shifted his attention away.

He turned to the nearby Bull Demon among the group of Mutant Beasts, and reminded, “Bull Demon, go and cultivate to prepare for your breakthrough in the near future.”

“Yes, Master,” Bull Demon readily agreed with a nod, not refusing Yu Zi Yu’s arrangement.

After a moment, he lifted his hoofs and started making his way toward North Canyon, where Yu Zi Yu had been storing countless Earth-Attribute Spirit Stones. It was an excellent place for an Earth-Attribute Mutant Beast like him to break through.

…

Meanwhile, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze shifted to the restless and impatient Titan.

[This fellow has such an impatient personality. Well, the fact that he has been waiting here for so long is already commendable.] Thinking about this, Yu Zi Yu gave his orders, “If you have nothing else to report, you guys can withdraw for now.”

Saying that, Yu Zi Yu also looked at the several recently achieved Tier-1 Transcendent Azure Wolve and Mutant Wild Boars, advising them, “You all should continue to train diligently. I will summon you after a while.”

“Yes, Lord Divine Tree.” Bowing deeply, these Tier-1 Transcendent Mutant Beasts gradually withdrew.

In the present state, Tier-1 Transcendents were no longer considered exceptionally strong.

With the rise of the second round of Spiritual Energy Tide, countless Mutant Beasts had already become Tier-1 Transcendent.

Nonetheless, without the backing of a strong Innate Talent, their combat strength was inevitably limited.

While these Transcendent Azure Wolves and Wild Boars had become Tier-1 Transcendents, their strength was still far from being on par with the three Generals and the nine Great Beasts of the same rank.

In battles against their peers of the same rank, they would inevitably be defeated. Furthermore, without significant opportunities, their future prospects were also quite limited. As a result, Yu Zi Yu’s attention towards them was limited as well.

Of course, after becoming a Tier-1 Transcendent, they would certainly receive appropriate treatment from Yu Zi Yu. If they had the chance to go further, Yu Zi Yu would not hesitate to give them a helping hand.

This was the fundamental rule in the Misty Mountains now. Strength determined resources, and combat strength determined status. Everything depended on their own efforts.

[If I’m right, when these Tier-1 Transcendent Mutant Beasts returned to their respective races, their remarkable increase in strength would likely make them leaders within their race.] Thinking of this, Yu Zi Yu fell into contemplation.

[I should start developing clans, if necessary. I could establish clans based on their species, similar to sects and families. The vast expanse of the Misty Mountain Range is home to various species of wild beasts.

There are the Azure Wolf Pack, the Mutant Wild Boar Pack, the Mutant Black Rat Colony, the Spiders led by the Transcendent Spider, and the Mutated Macaque Family, along with many more species of wild beasts, each with hundreds or even thousands of members.

Furthermore, clans like the Mutated Black Rat Colony have already grown to a population of more than 30,000, firmly establishing themselves in the far eastern part of the Misty Mountains.

It would be a waste not to properly manage them. As the popular adage goes, competition drives progress. If clans are established, resources will be allocated according to the comprehensive strength of the clans.

Because of this healthy competition will soon develop among the major clans. This will, in turn, raise the overall strength of the Misty Mountains.]

It should be brought to notice that the current Misty Mountains referred to the area covered by mist. Compared to its initial state, the territory has expanded more than fivefold. It extended south to the Human city of Maple Leaf City, north to the icy northern territories, and borders the Yangtze River and the desert to the east and west, respectively.

Although it was still hundreds of kilometers away from the Yangtze River and the desert, it was only a matter of time before the mist covered them at the current rate.

However, Yu Zi Yu was intentionally restraining the expansion. He was not in a hurry to extend further. After all, expanding the mist itself did not have much utility.

Only by fully utilizing the resources within a territory, and having Mutant Beasts guarding it, can he truly be called the ruler of the Misty Mountains.

Just like now…

Openly, various major species of Mutant Beasts were scattered in all directions, each guarding a corner.

In secret, Yu Zi Yu’s roots continue to spread, covering the depths of the land.

Combined with the pervasive mist that shrouds the land…

And this was the true Misty Mountains.

…

“The establishment of clans is inevitable.” After pondering for a while, Yu Zi Yu made up his mind.

[Without the establishment of clans, the various major races of Mutant Beasts would remain divided and not united. However, if clans are established, even if it’s for resource allocation, these Mutant Beasts would fight for their clans. From another perspective, the current Misty Mountains can be seen as a legendary ancient sect in the legends. The clans would be like the various families of the ancient sect. The long history of a sect owes much to its various families.]

[For the Misty Mountains to survive for long, it could follow a similar path. More importantly, the establishment of clans would make it easier to cultivate a sense of belonging among the various major Mutant Beast races in the Misty Mountains. In the future, if the Misty Mountains faced difficulties, even if I did not give any order, these Mutant Beasts would fight to the death.]

Thinking of this, Yu Zi Yu’s determination to establish clans became stronger.

[However, there is no need to rush into it. At the very least, it’s necessary to wait for the various Mutant Beast races to choose their leaders.]

Yu Zi Yu believed that in the next few days, these races would definitely witness a fierce competition for leadership. After all, the struggle for leadership within Mutant Beast races had always been a bloody affair.

This was an internal matter of the races, and Yu Zi Yu was not willing to interfere, nor would he interfere.

[There is a reason for tradition to pass down for millions of years. So, why force things?]
