Nine Tails’ advancement was undoubtedly a cause for celebration.

At least, the entire Misty Mountains was drowned in celebrations.

Not everyone was aware of the Panda–Brewmaster’s strength.

Whereas Nine Tails’ successful advancement to the Tier-2 was a great source of encouragement. More importantly, the spectacle she had created when she broke through was really astonishing.

The swirling mist, and the vortex of flames spanning across the sky was a testament to the terrifying power of the Eldest Sister, Nine Tails.

…

At the peak of the Himalayan Mountains…

Yu Zi Yu looked at Nine Tails, who was now resting on his treetop, and stated with a smile, “With this breakthrough, your Spiritual Energy should stabilize at around 300,000.”

“En.” Nine Tails nodded slightly, before her lips curled up into a smile as she expressed her gratitude, “It’s all thanks to you, Master. Thanks to your constant nurturing, my foundation is quite solid.”

“That’s great.” Yu Zi Yu smiled, feeling somewhat content that all his efforts in taking care of her day and night had not been in vain.

However, at that moment, a cry of astonishment suddenly rang, “Master, look…”

“What is it?” Puzzled, Yu Zi Yu looked along Nine Tails’s gaze. The next moment, a flower of flame with nine petals slowly blossomed into their sight.

What was astonishing was that eight of its petals were actually tangible, and the last one was slowly becoming solid and tangible at a speed visible to the naked eye.

At this rate, it would become completely tangible by early morning.

Right then, as if realizing something, the corner of Yu Zi Yu’s mouth rose slightly into a smile.

“The second Elemental Flower, and it’s the most violent Fire-Attribute,” Yu Zi Yu muttered to himself, his gaze flickering as he gazed at the Flame Flower.

Elemental Flowers were precious treasures of Heaven and Earth. Just the ability to change one’s Innate Talent and forcibly remold one’s constitution demonstrated their mystical nature.

Not to mention, transformation into an Elemental was akin to ascending a ladder straight to Heavens.

Although it was uncertain how many Tiers one could ascend, as far as ordinary people were concerned, just changing their Innate Talent was already a blessing, and an extremely big one.

One’s Innate Talent was like Heaven’s divide. If one’s Innate Talent was lacking, no matter how hard he or she worked, after a hundred years all that would be left of them would be a handful of dust. If one’s Innate Talent was excellent, even someone as unruly as Golden Monkey, and could easily become a Transcendent.

In this era of Transcendence, Innate Talent was the fairest and most unfair aspect.

Fair, because everyone had some kind of Innate Talent.

Unfair, because the quality of that Innate Talent was predestined.

Now, there was an extraordinary Spirit Flower that could alter one’s Innate Talent.

One could easily imagine its extraordinary value.

If this Elemental Flower were to become known to the world, it would certainly cause a great uproar.

After carefully examining the Elemental Flower, Yu Zi Yu began to make some calculations in his mind.

After a moment, he shifted his gaze to the nearby Nine Tails, and suggested, “Nine Tails, do you want to consume this Elemental Flower in the near future?”

“Master?” Nine Tails stared in a daze, slightly taken aback.

“This Elemental Flower is enough to increase your Spiritual Energy to around 400,000-500,000. With such a tremendous boost, you should be able to touch the bottleneck of Tier-3 Transcendent in a short time.”  As he proposed this, a smile appeared on Yu Zi Yu’s lips.

Both Nine Tails and Qing Er were the most trustworthy.

If Nine Tails could become a Tier-3 Transcendent, both of them, the master and servant, would certainly be able to dominate a large part of the continent. Furthermore, Yu Zi Yu’s life-saving treasure, the Tree Heart, which could not be entrusted to Qing Er because she had no time to take care of it.

Now, Yu Zi Yu had entrusted the Tree Heart to Nine Tails.

At this moment, if one looked deep into Nine Tails’ body, he or she would definitely see a green heart-shaped object emitting a hazy radiance.

This was the Tree Heart, which was equivalent to Yu Zi Yu’s heart. If anything happened to Yu Zi Yu’s main body, he could use this Tree Heart to undergo rebirth within a short time.

Of course, guarding this Tree Heart also had its benefits.

Just like now, the Tree Heart was continuously surging with life force, which was equivalent to Nine Tails being constantly receiving the nourishment of Yu Zi Yu’s Life Essence.

This was one of the reasons why Nine Tails was able to advance so rapidly. After all, with such a precious treasure constantly nourishing her, how could her progress not be rapid?

However, at this moment, to Yu Zi Yu’s surprise, Nine Tails shook her head and declined, “Master, I can’t accept it.”

“Why?” a bit bewildered, Yu Zi Yu asked with curiosity.

Yu Zi Yu could not understand why Nine Tails did not want such a precious treasure.

After all, if other Mutant Beast or even Humans came to know about this, they would definitely go crazy.

“Master, I am of the Celestial Fox Lineage, and according to some vague memories in my mind, my race is inherently one of the top bloodlines, stronger than an Elemental Lifeform. If it’s just an increase in Spiritual Energy, this Elemental Flower would just be icing on the cake for me, so it’s better to leave it for someone else. Moreover, this Elemental Flower can shape a formidable individual in a short time if you find a suitable host for it. At that time, Master will have one more capable assistant, so why waste it on me?”

She might have been explaining calmly, but Nine Tails had been suppressing the reluctance deep in her eyes all the while.

Elemental Flower was undoubtedly excellent, but she was also taking her Master’s wellbeing into consideration. Especially now, at the dawn of the Era of Transcendence, every additional powerful individual would be a great help to her Master.

As for herself…

*Ha…* Exhaling deeply, Nine Tails firmly believed that even without relying on external items, she could quickly become a Tier-3 Transcendent.

This was the confidence of the Celestial Fox Lineage.  As a member of once ancient and proud lineage, she had also inherited their pride apart from their bloodline.

Of course, the purity of bloodline talent was also extremely crucial. Vaguely, Nine Tails felt that if she consumed the Elemental Flower, her bloodline would also be tainted.  She did not want to bear such a cost, nor did she dare to bear it.

At this moment, Yu Zi Yu took a long, deep gaze at Nine Tails, silently.

“Alright.” As perceptive he was, he naturally noticed the hesitation deep in Nine Tails’ eyes.

However, he did not pester her for an explanation.

Nine Tails had always been intelligent and had her own considerations. Since she chose to refuse, Yu Zi Yu would not insist.

Thinking this, Yu Zi Yu’s gaze once again fell on a cluster of flame-like Elemental Flower at the treetop.

“So, who should receive it?”

In his faint voice, there was a hint of anticipation.

Who could earn his approval? Who would become the second Elemental Lifeform under him, bearing the name ‘Fire’?
