“Elemental Flower…” a murmur escaped Yu Zi Yu’s lips, his eyes flickering with intrigue. If used as a resource, the Elemental Flowers would indeed be the best treasure for nurturing his subordinates. However, up until now, he could only cultivate Rock Flowers, which was only suitable for Earth-Attribute Mutant Beasts.

For Mutant Beasts like the Nine Tails and White Snake of different attributes, absorbing Rock Flowers might be counterproductive due to the interactions between different attributes.

“In other words, I need to find deposits of other Elemental Spirit Stones in order to refine the Elemental Flowers.” A sigh escaped Yu Zi Yu, he felt a bit helpless.

He had thought his resources were sufficient, but upon reflection, they fell short. Not only did each of his subordinates need the Elemental Flowers, but even he himself required Spirit Stones of different attributes.

Though, unlike other Mutant Beasts, Yu Zi Yu could absorb Earth-Attribute Spirit Stones in large quantities, it was mostly due to his immense size and profound strength, which allowed him to refine the energy within the Earth-Attribute Spiritual Energy.

Except, absorbing Earth-Attribute Spirit Stones for an extended period could make him even heavier, and being heavier was another way of saying ‘clumsy.’

In other words, prolonged absorption of Earth-Attribute Spirit Stones would shatter his dreams of leaving the earth and running under the setting sun.

[Well…] Thinking of this, a myriad of thoughts raced through Yu Zi Yu’s mind. [How did I overlook this?]

He had been wondering why his control over the Earth Element had become more exquisite over time. He could conjure a wave of earth with a raise of his branch, and shape earth anyhow as per his will.

His mastery over the Earth Element was rivaled only by his manipulation of mist. Had he not been confined in North Canyon, he could even conjure a colossal Earth Element giant.

After much contemplation, the answer was right here.

“Earth-Attribute Spirit Stones, Earth-Attribute Spirit Stones…” Yu Zi Yu kept muttering to himself, his expression becoming more complex.

These Earth-Attribute Spirit Stones enhanced his control over the Earth Element. However, as a trade-off, his connection with the earth became even stronger.

“I must find Spirit Stones of other attributes. Absorbing only Earth-Attribute Spirit Stones may lead to a steady increase in my strength, but it will have its drawbacks.”

With this realization, Yu Zi Yu raised his gaze.

*Screech!* As if sensing Yu Zi Yu’s thoughts, a piercing high-pitched sound that could even shatter stones echoed through the night.

“Fal I, inform Sarcosuchus that the search for Spirit Stone Mines should be prioritized,” watching the soaring Peregrine Falcon, Yu Zi Yu calmly ordered.

“Yes, Divine Tree.” Having received his order, the Peregrine Falcon, which had reached Tier-0 Level 9 shot into the depths of the night like an arrow released from a bowstring.

Just then, as if struck by another thought, Yu Zi Yu’s perspective shifted to the crypts underground.

After a moment, a spacious underground plaza entered his sight.

A couple dozen Chimpanzees stood in the center, lined up like an army, with two figures at the forefront, Qing Gang and King Kong.

“Before we begin our work, the first thing you must learn is to understand my commands, and do exactly what I say. Do you understand?” Qing Gang roared in a thunderous voice, standing with his arms that were as thick as thighs crossed before his chest. His entire demeanor exuded an intimidating presence.

However, what was frustrating was that dozens of Chimpanzees not far from him were all looking at each other in dismay, even scratching their heads and ears, as if they were a little confused.

“Uh…” An awkward expression crossed Qing Gang’s face as he shifted his gaze onto King Kong, who was standing nearby.

One thing that was apparent was King Kong’s imposing physique. Just after a few glances, Qing Gang’s mouth involuntarily twitched.

He had thought his enhanced physique was impressive, yet he had not anticipated that the Divine Tree would find such a monster.

Leaving aside other aspects, just the body that could easily rival a small building and those indescribably dense muscles left Qing Gang speechless.

“Though we’re both evolved, the disparity is quite significant.” Qing Gang could not help but sigh in his heart, feeling helpless. When facing Mutant Beasts of the same level, Humans were at a distinct disadvantage. This was particularly true for exceptional Mutant Beasts like King Kong, where the gap was even more pronounced.

In Qing Gang’s estimation, even ten, no, even a thousand of him would not be able to take on King Kong.

At this moment, noticing Qing Gang’s eyes asking for help, King Kong nodded slightly.

As a Tier-0 Level 9 Mutant Beast, who had also received guidance from Yu Zi Yu and Qing Er in succession, understanding some simple things was not that hard.

*Roar…* Taking a step forward, King Kong suddenly let out a low roar.

*Roar, Roar, Roar…* Immediately after, the troop of Chimpanzees also continuously roared, as if responding.

However, just as this was happening, King Kong’s gaze suddenly froze, as if it had caught something. He lifted his head to see a Chimpanzee looking around, seemingly curious and evaluating something.

*Roar…* King Kong let out another low growl, tinged with a hint of annoyance.

The next instant, even before the others could react, King Kong suddenly charged forward.

*Boom, boom, boom…* His sheer weight caused the ground to tremble and shake.

After a moment, King Kong reached the curious Chimpanzee and decisively grabbed one of its legs without hesitation.

Following this, before the astonished gazes of Qing Gang and Yu Zi Yu, King Kong swung the Chimpanzee around like a whip and slammed it onto the ground.

*Boom, boom, boom…”

Accompanied by thunderous rumbles, the entire underground plaza shook uncontrollably.

“This guy is so freaking violent.” Witnessing this scene, Qing Gang decisively evaluated his own petite frame.

After a round of evaluation, he was certain he would not make a sound. He was sure that he would lose half of his life at the very first impact, let alone make a sound.

…

Meanwhile, now seemingly a little less angry, King Kong casually tossed the Chimpanzee aside.

After a moment, amidst Qing Gang’s twitching lips, the Chimpanzee got up as if nothing had happened, patted its bottom, and lined up once again.

“What monstrous physique.”

Tossing out another complaint in his heart, Qing Gang decided to manage his relationship with this clan properly in the future.

[They are all as tough as iron. They’re not to be messed with, not at all…]

However, just then, a voice suddenly echoed in Qing Gang’s mind, “What do you think of them?”

“They’re really formidable.” Hearing Yu Zi Yu’s voice, Qing Gang suppressed his emotions and responded.

“Yeah, they’re really formidable.” Nodding, Yu Zi Yu provided his own evaluation, “This group has the potential to become a warrior race.”

“What’s a warrior race!?” seeming a bit puzzled, Qing Gang asked in confusion.

“A race born for combat. They possess formidable combat prowess far surpassing other races.”

In a rare moment of explaining, Yu Zi Yu further added, “However, the prerequisite for all of this is that they can withstand several rounds of hellish training. Otherwise, potential remains just that, potential.”
