Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 1470: Zhang Fei - Shang Fengxue

Shang Fengxue’s expression turned serious as soon as Zhang Fei [5] appeared before her, and she could sense his cultivation at the 3-Sun Celestial King Realm, but she couldn’t sense his presence. ”Zhang Fei, right? How do you know my name when I haven’t told your two guardians about it?”

”It’s not difficult for me to recognize your identity.” Shang Fengxue eyed Zhang Fei [5] suspiciously, especially since she didn’t know that his fourth clone was monitoring the Asura Demon Palace while calming his bloodlust. ”I know you are Shang Zhanluo’s little sister, and your cultivation has already reached the 2-Sun Celestial Venerable Realm. I know you came here after Shang Luohu showed you some things about me, especially regarding my fight with three of your four demon race guardians.”

Shang Fengxue did not reply to him and observed him with extreme seriousness. ”Did you leave anything in our domain to keep an eye on us?”

”You can say it like that.” Zhang Fei [5] turned to Tian Kui and Serpentera, who nodded in understanding and disappeared from the scene. ”Follow me.”

”Alright.”

Shang Fengxue was amazed when Zhang Fei [5] led her into the Moonlit Passion Temple. Like other cultivators in the Paradise Realm, she knew that the sect used to be a dual cultivation sect, but it had transformed and become a universal sect. She could also sense the presence of all races there, and she had never seen any other place where all races were gathered in one place. ”Were you the one who turned this sect into a universal one?”

”I couldn’t possibly change this sect by myself, and all the members helped me make it happen.” Shang Fengxue looked at Zhang Fei [5]. ”In the past, people looked down on this sect because it was a dual cultivation sect, and we worked together to change it for the better.”

Shang Fengxue nodded in understanding and asked another question. ”Are you really a lust demon? Do the members of this sect know your identity? How did you convince them to accept you?”

”Haha.” Zhang Fei [5] laughed at her questions. ”Do you even need to ask that? You can already sense the presence of several demons from several races in this sect, so you shouldn’t need to doubt that the people of this sect already know my identity. The majority of them have been with me since the Three Mortal Realms, and I was the one who brought them to this realm several years ago. As for the cultivators of this realm, they never cared about demons, and they wanted change, so they could accept me easily.”

Shang Fengxue checked the surrounding area with her senses before speaking again. ”If I think about it again, this sect is the only place in this realm where all races can gather in peace.”

”I’m not concerned about the differences of all races, and I only want a peaceful life. As long as they have the same dreams as me, I will accept them into this sect, and they can live here safely and comfortably without hostility.” Zhang Fei [5] looked at her. ”Honestly, I have already offered your sister-in-law for your demon race to join us, but she can’t make a decision without your big brother, so I have to wait for him to come out of her seclusion.”

”My big brother will never be willing to join you.” Zhang Fei [5] was not surprised by Shang Fengxue’s answer. ”Just like Mo Shentian, my big brother has always dreamed of becoming the leader of all the demon races, so I’m sure that he will never submit to anyone else, let alone join a human sect. All races now inhabit this sect, and my big brother has issues with some races, particularly the winged race.”

”How about you?”

Shang Fengxue shook her head at him. ”I’m different from my big brother, and I don’t have as big an ambition as him. I’ve never been hostile to the other races, even though some of them truly hate me because I’m a demon. For me, I just want to be strong so I can protect myself, and I can only become strong by fighting with cultivators who are much stronger than me. That’s why I decided to come to this sect after my sister-in-law told me about you, and I want to spar with you because I believe you are stronger than the four guardians of our race.”

”How can you be so sure that I’m stronger than them?” Zhang Fei [5] asked her with a smile. ”Since Shang Luohu already showed you my fight with three of your race’s four guardians some time ago, you should know that I’m not as strong as you imagine.”

”Humph!” Shang Fengxue snorted at him. ”You managed to defeat Shang Xijiao and draw with Shang Nanshui, but I noticed that you were still holding back when you fought with Shang Beixuan. If you hadn’t held yourself back then, I’m sure you would have defeated him, and I’m sure that you could have defeated Shang Dongzhu as well.”

”Hehehe.” Zhang Fei [5] chuckled. ”You’re overpraising me, you know? I managed to defeat Shang Xijiao, but the fact is I couldn’t defeat Shang Nanshui and Shang Beixuan. Shang Dongzhu is much stronger than both of them, so I’m not confident I can defeat him.”

”I will never believe your words, and I want to prove your abilities by fighting against you.”

Zhang Fei [5] looked at Shang Fengxue with an amused smile because she was so confident that she could defeat the four asura guardians, even though she hadn’t watched their past matches in person, and she had seen everything from Shang Luohu’s memories. ”Alright, I’ll spar with you, but I hope you won’t be disappointed if my fighting skills don’t meet your expectations.”

”I’ll be disappointed if you don’t fight me for real.” Shang Fengxue looked at him. ”I will fight you for real, and I will use all my fighting skills to fight you in our sparring match. If you don’t use all your strength to face me, you will definitely die by my hands.”

’This woman is a maniac fighter like Jian Kuang.’ Zhang Fei [5] nodded at her. ”I don’t want to die because I have many wives by my side, so I will fight you with all my strength.”

”Good.” Shang Fengxue became excited after his statement, and she eagerly anticipated starting their sparring match.

Soon, they arrived at the training area, and several people who sensed Shang Fengxue’s presence were already waiting there, such as Jian Kuang, Su Shentian, Zhuxian Sheng, Han Ling, and several others.

Some of Zhang Fei’s wives were also present, such as Luo Yunxiao, Xu Ling’er, Zhang Chen, and several others.

Jian Kuang, Su Shentian, and Zhuxian Sheng caught Shang Fengxue’s attention. She had never met the three men before, but she had heard of them, and they were some of the best rogue cultivators in Paradise Realm.

Shang Fengxue glanced at Zhang Fei [5]. ’How did he gather these people in this sect? The three of them are rogue cultivators who never wanted to have any relationship with anyone in the past. Yet, they are here now, and they seem to respect him very much.’

”Who is this woman, Kid? Why does her aura feel familiar to me?” Jian Kuang asked.

Su Shentian observed Shang Fengxue because he felt like he had seen her before, but he couldn’t remember exactly where and when they had met.

”If I’m not mistaken, that woman is the princess of the Asura Demon Race.” Jian Kuang and Su Shentian turned their heads to Zhuxian Sheng. ”I can’t remember when and where I saw her, but I’m sure my guess about her identity was not wrong. If I recall correctly, she should be Shang Zhanluo’s sister.”

”Oh?” Jian Kuang and Su Shentian immediately returned their gazes to Shang Fengxue. ”I’ve heard that Shang Zhanluo’s sister is a fighting maniac, but I’ve never met her in person.”

”Doesn’t that mean she’s the same as you, Old Jian?” Su Shentian asked this question while observing Shang Fengxue. ”You’re the sword maniac, and she’s a fighting maniac.”

”Hahaha.” Jian Kuang laughed upon hearing that. ”I wanted to test her fighting skills, but she seems obsessed with knowing that kid’s fighting abilities, so I’ll let them have a sparring match first.”

Zhang Fei [5] brought Shang Fengxue over to them. ”Her name is Shang Fengxue, and she is Shang Zhanluo’s sister. She came to our sect specifically to challenge me to a sparring match, especially after she heard from Shang Luohu about my fight with some asura guardians some time ago.”

”I see.” Jian Kuang nodded in understanding. ”Alright, you two can spar now, and I’ll spar with her after you guys are done.”

Su Shentian immediately spoke to Shang Fengxue. ”You mustn’t hold back when you two spar, or he will defeat you easily.”

”Oh?” Shang Fengxue glanced at Zhang Fei [5] before asking them. ”Is his fighting ability as extraordinary as I imagined?”

”Hahaha.” Jian Kuang laughed at her question. ”The three of us have sparred with him too many times, and you should know our reputation, but we’ve never managed to defeat him. If you underestimate him too much, you won’t be able to move in front of him, and he will defeat you.”

”Don’t listen to them; they’re just making things up.” Zhang Fei [5] walked to the center of the arena and took out a sword. ”Let’s spar now.”
