Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 45: Zhang Hai At Lost

Hospital

Zhang Hai and the others were anxiously waiting in front of the emergency room, and a woman walked up to them, and she asked. ”Was it you who called me earlier, Mr. Zhang?”

They turned towards the woman, Qing Yi raised an eyebrow at the woman, as she could recognize her identity instantly, but she didnʼt expect that her husband would call her.

”Yes, it was I who called you earlier, Hong Yao.” Zhang Hai replied with a nod.

Hong Yao herself recognized their identity as Zhang Feiʼs parents, then she asked him again. ”What can I do for you, Mr. Zhang?”

”I want you to arrest Zhang Fei for acts of violence, because he injured my son Zhang He, and he is currently receiving treatment inside.” Zhang Hai answered bluntly.

Hearing that, Qing Yi immediately stood up from her seat, and glared at her husband, then shouted at him. ”What do you mean by that, Zhang Hai? You want to throw my son in jail?”

”He is not our son anymore! We have disowned him long ago!” Zhang Hai retorted, especially after his wife called him by name directly.

”Youʼre such an idiot, Zhang Hai! Even if we disowned him, Feiʼer is still our son, and I was the one who gave birth to him. Moreover, Heʼer was the one who was looking for trouble with him, so you shouldnʼt throw him in jail!” After that, Qing Yi turned to leave and said one last time.

”If you insist on sending Feiʼer to prison, then I will not return with you to Guangzhou again, if necessary I will divorce you.”

Zhang Hai froze upon hearing that, he couldnʼt believe that his wife preferred their second son over him, and he felt lost because of it.

Chen Xin opened her mouth to say something, but she quickly closed her mouth again. Even though she felt immense pleasure when having sex with Zhang Fei, in her eyes the Zhang familyʼs wealth meant more to her.

ʼSo Zhang Fei was disowned by his family for a long time? No wonder he works as a laborer in a food cannery.ʼ Hong Yao was shocked to hear that, as she had never heard of it before, then she said. ”Iʼm sorry, I canʼt help you with this matter, Mr. Zhang. If you still insist on doing it, then you can make a formal report to the police station directly.

But I can tell you one thing, if you insist on imprisoning Zhang Fei, then you have made a grave mistake because you do not understand him at all.”

After she said that, Hong Yao immediately turned away leaving Zhang Hai dumbfounded, and she inwardly muttered. ʼYou donʼt even know that your son is a demon, and no prison can hold him. Moreover, I am the demonʼs servant, so how can I arrest my master?ʼ

Zhang Hai couldnʼt help but stare at Hong Yao who kept walking away dumbfounded, he felt confused about why everyone was defending Zhang Fei, especially since her tone sounded full of confidence when she spoke about him.

Chen Xin was also surprised and confused about Zhang Fei at the same time, especially after she had sex with him, she could feel that the current him was indeed not the same as the old him.

Outside the hospital, Qing Yi was looking for a taxi to go back to the village, but suddenly Hong Yao patted her on the shoulder, as she said. ”Let me take you home, Mrs. Zhang.”

Qing Yi turned to her and asked. ”Do you want to arrest Feiʼer, Hong Yao?”

”Unfortunately, I canʼt do that.” Hong Yao replied with a shake of her head, then she took Qing Yi to her car, and drove her back to the village.

Halfway through, they continued to be silent for a long time. Suddenly, Qing Yi remembered Zhang Feiʼs identity as an incubus and asked suspiciously. ”Why canʼt you arrest Feiʼer? Do you have a special relationship with him?”

Hearing Qing Yiʼs question, Hong Yao was stunned for a moment and asked back. ”What makes you think I have a special relationship with him?”

”My intuition as a woman says that you guys have a special relationship.” Qing Yi replied casually, she still wasnʼt sure about their relationship, so she didnʼt want to talk to her about her son being an incubus.

Hong Yao thought for a moment before she asked. ”Could it be that you already know about your sonʼs true identity?”

”Hmm? What do you mean by that?” Qing Yi asked back with feigned ignorance. ʼSo my hunch was correct, Hong Yao does have a special relationship with Feiʼer.ʼ

Hong Yao then stopped the car and looked at Qing Yi doubtfully, she finally asked. ”Have you had sex with the demon?”

Qing Yi froze upon hearing that, and her face flushed red, she didnʼt expect Hong Yao would ask her such a thing.

Hong Yao chuckled seeing her expression. ”Have you forgotten that I am the chief of police? From the start, I have observed your attitude when talking about Zhang Fei, and your reaction makes me sure that you already know his identity as a demon, and that you have also had sex with him. Isnʼt that right?”

Qing Yi sighed heavily and nodded. ”Sigh, you are right, I did know his identity as an incubus, and I also had sex with him.”

”But you are still better than me because you are his mother. As for me, I am only his servant.” Hong Yao replied with a bitter smile, even though she enjoyed having sex with Zhang Fei, she didnʼt like her status as his servant.

Qing Yi didnʼt say anything, even though she was his mother, but she felt that Zhang Fei only treated her as a sex object. Even so, she did not blame him, because it was the result of her past decisions.

After that, they continued their journey again.

Zhang Chenʼs Room

”Hmm? Why are you here, Feiʼer?” Zhang Chen gently asked.

Zhang Fei then sat beside her and took her hand, saying. ”Grandma, I want to take you somewhere else tonight, that way you can be healthier in the future.”

”Where do you want to take me to?” Since she already knew about her grandsonʼs identity as an incubus, Zhang Chen would no longer be surprised if he said something out of the ordinary.

ʼMei, open the gate to the Jade Sacred Realm.ʼ She immediately followed Zhang Feiʼs order, and a white gate opened in front of them, leaving Zhang Chen dumbfounded.

Before Zhang Fei could explain to his grandmother, two women walked out of the gate, and one of them grumbled. ”Ugh! The air here is really dirty! I even have to cover my nose with Qi!”

”Yingʼer? Qingʼer? Why did you two enter that gate?” Zhang Fei asked in surprise since his body double was practicing elsewhere, and the gate was connected to the Chu Clanʼs back garden.

Chu Qing then jumped onto Zhang Feiʼs lap and kissed him on the lips, making Zhang Chen even more dumbfounded. ”Hehe, even though you just came back here, I already miss you, Fei. So when I saw the gate open, I immediately pulled big sis to enter it.”

”Qingʼer, you are not polite; look who is beside you.” Chu Ying warned her little sister, then she said to Zhang Chen. ”Please forgive my little sisterʼs rudeness, Grandma. Anyway, my name is Chu Ying, and I am Feiʼs future wife.”

Chu Qing blushed looking at Zhang Chen, and she then took her hand and said. ”Hehe, please forgive me, Grandma. My name is Chu Qing, and I am Feiʼs lover.”

Zhang Chen looked at the Chu Sisters in turn; she was still shocked to see them coming out of the gate. Moreover, they claimed to be her grandsonʼs lover and future wife, but she felt they were beautiful and kind. Then she turned to Zhang Fei. ”Who exactly are they, Feiʼer? How did they get out of that gate? Where did they come from?”
