Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 13: Unreasonable Police Chief

Chen Xin was seen daydreaming alone in the courtyard, and she also kept on sighing. ʼWhat the hell happened to me? Why do I keep thinking about that loser? I admit his current appearance is manly and handsome, but heʼs still a loser who has nothing, because heʼs been disowned from the Zhang family.ʼ

”Why are you daydreaming alone here, wife?” Zhang He asked as he sat down beside his wife, but Chen Xin seemed to be lost in her thoughts, and she didnʼt hear her husbandʼs question, so he patted her on the shoulder. ”What happened to you, wife?” Are you uncomfortable living in this village?”

Chen Xin returned to her senses, and then she replied. ”En, I want to go back to Guangzhou as soon as possible; I donʼt feel comfortable living in a slum village like this.” ʼIʼm sorry, husband. I canʼt tell you that I keep thinking about that loser.ʼ

”En, Iʼm also uncomfortable in this village.” With a nod, Zhang He said. ”Especially seeing that loser change drastically, it makes me angry, we should have made him suffer more back then.”

”En, I agree. Just being abandoned by your family is too light for him.” Talking about Zhang Fei actually engraved his figure even more deeply in her mind and soul. ʼShit! Why am I thinking more and more about that damn loser!?ʼ

Zhang He then fell silent, and he seemed to be in serious thought. ”What if we do something to him again? I really donʼt like seeing him live in peace.”

”What do you want to do with him, husband?” Chen Xin asked curiously.

Zhang He shook his head. ”I donʼt have any ideas for now.”

”En, letʼs think carefully about what we should do with him next.” The more they talked about Zhang Fei, it made Chen Xin restless. ʼShould I talk to that loser later?ʼ

Elsewhere, Qing Yi, who was lying in her room, also looked very confused, and she continued to roll on the bed restlessly. ʼWhy do I keep thinking about Feiʼer? But I didnʼt expect that he could be independent without our help, at first I thought that he would have a hard life, but quite the opposite happened.ʼ

She then closed her eyes, but soon she opened them again. ʼWhy does his figure keep popping up in my mind and heart? Am I really that fascinated by my own son? If thatʼs the case, then Iʼm no different from him! Sigh, looks like Iʼll have to talk to him later. Otherwise, Iʼll continue to be restless like this.ʼ

Zhang Chenʼs Room

Zhang Lin was massaging her grandmotherʼs legs as she listened to her grandma talk about Zhang Feiʼs life for two years. Even though Zhang Chen was in her early seventies, but she could still remember everything clearly.

*Ting*

Zhang Linʼs smartphone received a message, which she read quickly and spoke with a smile. ”Big sis will be back from Singapore in three days, Grandma. And she promised to pay you a visit as soon as she returned.”

Zhang Chen smiled upon hearing that, as she also missed her eldest granddaughter. ”Thatʼs really good news, Linʼer. Yueʼer hasnʼt been home in two years; Grandma really misses her.”

”Hehe, I miss Big Sis too, Grandma.” Zhang Lin started to massage her grandmotherʼs arm, then she asked. ”Does Big Brother already have a girlfriend, Grandma?”

Zhang Chen sighed at her question, then she replied, ”Your big brother doesnʼt have a girlfriend yet, Linʼer. For the past two years, heʼs been busy working in a canned food factory, so he doesnʼt have time to date.”

Despite the fact that she had spoken to Zhang Fei about his relationship with Ru Xue and that he had now become an Incubus, Zhang Chen naturally couldnʼt say all of that to her second granddaughter.

”Big brother is really pitiful; he even has to work in such a dirty factory.” Zhang Lin sadly said that she had heard Zhang Feiʼs story from her grandmother earlier, and it really made her sad. Then she said angrily. ”If it wasnʼt for those two bastards, then Big Brother wouldnʼt have to live like that.”

Zhang Chen immediately scolded her. ”You must not say such words, Linʼer. You are a girl, so you must use polite and proper words.”

Zhang Lin pursed her lips, then she continued. ”Moreover, father and mother are also really stupid! They donʼt even recognize the nature of their child, and they chose to side with Zhang He and Chen Xin, no wonder Big Sis is disappointed and angry with them.”

”En, you are right, Linʼer.” Zhang Chen nodded in agreement; she also thought that her son and daughter-in-law were really stupid, because they couldnʼt distinguish between their good and bad children.

Police Station

Zhang Fei was seen sitting in front of a policewoman in handcuffs. Not long after he beat up Han Jue and his men, several cops came to the factory to arrest him.

Even though everyone said he was innocent, they still arrested Zhang Fei, and the policewoman in front of him continued to glare at him angrily.

ʼOh? So she is Hong Mingʼs sister? No wonder she insists on arresting me. Since you do as you please, donʼt blame me then.ʼ Zhang Fei then spoke with a faint smile. ”Is this how the police work, Police Chief?” Youʼre being unreasonable, you know? All the witnesses have said that Iʼm innocent, and they were the ones who attacked me first.”

*Bam!*

”Looks like you really donʼt know your situation, huh? I could put you in jail for a year for violence!” Hong Yao snapped at Zhang Fei, as she pounded her desk.

”Really? Are you sure about that?” Zhang Fei was enraged by Hong Yaoʼs actions. ”Hong Ming asked you to arrest me, right?”

Hong Yao was stunned for a moment, and she looked at Zhang Fei in bewilderment. She was confused about how he could know about it.

Zhang Fei smirked at her, then he activated his demon charm and demon pheromone at once, and instantly a pink gas shot out of his body.

*Badump*

Hong Yaoʼs heart was pounding violently as she inhaled the pink gas, and a pink heart symbol appeared in her eyes, as she stared at Zhang Fei lustfully.

”Are you just going to stay there, Hong Yao?” Zhang Fei asked as he broke his handcuffs.
