Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 15: Shop And Currency

When Zhang Fei arrived at the factory, Guo Lan and Ru Xue were already waiting for him anxiously. They immediately ran and hugged him together. But the next second, they let go of their embrace, and they looked at each other in confusion, suspicion, jealousy, and anger.

Then they turned to Zhang Fei and asked at the same time, as they pointed their fingers at each other.

”Whatʼs your relationship with her, Fei?”

”Whatʼs your relationship with her, Feiʼer?”

Zhang Fei laughed at their antics because Guo Lan wasnʼt even his girlfriend. As for Ru Xue, although she had already decided to divorce her husband, she was still someone elseʼs wife, at least for now.

”Why are you laughing Fei!?”

”Why are you laughing Feiʼer!?”

Again, they asked at the same time, and they asked him angrily because Zhang Fei didnʼt answer them, and he laughed at them instead.

Zhang Fei shook his head and said. ”If you two are still acting like this, then Iʼll just go home.”

”Do not go!” The two screamed at the same time, and they grabbed Zhang Feiʼs hand.

”I know that you guys like me, but youʼre not even my lover, Lan.” Zhang Fei said with a shake of his head, then he turned to Ru Xue. ”And you, Xueʼer, your status is still that of someoneʼs wife.”

”I-”

”I-”

Guo Lan and Ru Xue were speechless because Zhang Feiʼs words were true. Currently, their status was not Zhang Feiʼs lover. One is a co-worker, and the other is someone elseʼs wife.

”Iʼm not mad at you guys, but I hope you two can act more mature.” Zhang Fei said as he gently rubbed their heads.

They lowered their blushing faces, but they glanced at each other curiously. And Guo Lan was curious about Ru Xue, especially after she heard that she was someoneʼs wife, but she was so intimate with Zhang Fei.

Zhang Fei then put his arm around their shoulders. ”Since itʼs almost evening, how about we eat together? I want the two of you to get to know each other well.”

The two women nodded in agreement. Ru Xue then took them to her regular restaurant, and while they enjoyed their meal, they also chatted about lighter things. In a short time, Ru Xue and Guo Lan had become close, it was because they had the same hobby, and Zhang Fei was really happy to see them.

After that, Ru Xue drove Zhang Fei home, and she asked. ”Do you like Lanʼer, Feiʼer?”

Zhang Fei answered her with a smile. ”It would be hypocritical, if I said that I donʼt like Lan, she is a nice woman, and she was also the one who helped me adapt to the situation at the factory when I first worked. But I havenʼt thought about moving forward with her, the main reason is that Iʼm now an incubus, and Iʼm afraid that she wonʼt be able to accept the facts.

”I see.” Ru Xue nodded in understanding, after they talked for a while, she immediately returned to her own house.

Since his family was still in their respective rooms, Zhang Fei rushed to his room, lay down on his bed, and said to Mei. ”Explain to me about the shop, Mei.”

Mei explained it to him. [To buy items in the Modern Shop, you can use your current currency, but you currently donʼt have enough money to buy any items, Master.]

”En, I understand.” Zhang Fei nodded in understanding. ”Then what about the other shops, Mei?”

[For the Cultivator shop, you have to collect Jewels, and it is divided into 5 kinds, Red, Green, Blue, Purple, and Gold. For the Demon Shop, you have to collect Female Essence. And for the Beast Shop, you have to collect Beast Cores.] Mei explained slowly. (A/N: Jewels = Profound Stones, Spirit Stones, Etc.)

Zhang Fei nodded repeatedly listening to Meiʼs explanation. ”So youʼre saying that Jewels, Female Essence, and Beast Cores are the currencies for those three shops?”

[Yes, Master. If you want to buy items in the Demon Shop, then you have to use your lust demon form to have sex with women.]

Zhang Fei laughed wryly upon hearing that; it was the hardest thing to do for now. Not everyone could accept demons as easily as Ru Xue. As for Hong Yao, it was because she wanted sexual gratification. ”Is there anything I can buy at the Demon Shop for now, Mei?”

Mei sighed and replied. [You canʼt buy anything, Master. The cheapest item in the Demon Shop is the Demon Physique Strengthening Method, and it requires 2000 Female Essence.]

Zhang Fei choked on hearing that, in order to buy that method, he still had to have sex with women 17 more times. ”Sigh, forget it. Iʼll collect everything slowly.”

[Do you want to go to the Sky Jade Realm now, Master?] Mei Asked, as she remembered that Zhang Fei want to go there to cultivate.

Zhang Fei thought for a moment. ”Letʼs-”

*Knock... Knock...*

Just as Zhang Fei was about to ask Mei to open the Gate to the Sky Jade Realm, suddenly someone knocked on the door of his room, so he canceled his intention and immediately opened the door. He was quite surprised to see the person standing in front of the door; he did not expect the person to meet him first.

”Can I talk to you, Feiʼer?”

Zhang Fei inwardly sighed, then replied. ”Come in.”

Qing Yi rushed in and sat on his bed, then Zhang Fei locked the door, and approached his mother, as he indifferently asked. ”What do you want to talk to me about? Havenʼt you two disowned me as your son?”

”I-” Qing Yi was speechless, actually she had realized that she had made a mistake by not acknowledging him as her son, but it was too late, and now their relationship was like a stranger.

Zhang Fei then sat in front of her and waited for her to speak, as he himself was at a loss to speak to her. Because he hadnʼt spoken to his parents for two years.

Qing Yi inwardly sighed, stood up from his bed, and stood right in front of Zhang Fei. She stared at her son for a while, before she cupped his cheek, and kissed his lips for a moment, and then she said. ”I... Iʼm sorry, Feiʼer. I donʼt know what happened to me, but Iʼve been thinking about you since this morning, and there was an urge inside of me to get closer to you.”

After saying that, Qing Yi turned around and wanted to walk out, but Zhang Fei grabbed her hand and pulled her onto his lap with her back to him, then hugged her from behind and asked. ”What do you really want from me?”
