Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 940: Chapter 941: Teach Him a Lesson

Qi Taiguo was indeed calling someone over, but he wasn’t calling them to fight. To be honest, these small-time thugs in front of him didn’t concern him at all.

The main purpose of calling people over was for Zhang Jisheng; he wanted to give Zhang Jisheng a harsh lesson.

So, the people Qi Taiguo called arrived. They were those wearing police caps, and upon seeing the house, they were also stunned.

People were lying scattered on the ground groaning in pain, the house was in chaos, with things smashed and broken everywhere.

And Qi Taiguo stood at the door smoking, as if waiting for people to come but not letting them leave.

”Deputy Battalion Commander Qi.” The leader smiled and greeted him, extending his hand, looking respectful.

Axe Master, seeing this scene, rolled his eyes, thinking damn, this time he truly hit a brick wall. It turns out this Zhang wasn’t bluffing; he really does have such a powerful backer.

Damn, what a miscalculation!

Qi Taiguo said a few words to the newcomers. That person glanced at Zhang Jisheng, who was cowering in a corner, and nodded, ”I understand. Whenever Deputy Battalion Commander Qi gives the order, just let me know.”

Qi Taiguo nodded, lifted his foot, and walked away.

Zhang Jisheng thought he was finally saved, hurriedly grabbed his clothes, and followed, not forgetting to kick the nearby thugs a couple of times.

However, someone blocked his path.

”You are suspected of soliciting prostitution, come with us.” That person coldly blocked Zhang Jisheng and instructed the police behind him, ”Take them all back, lock them in the detention center.”

”Yes!”

Zhang Jisheng was dumbfounded, hurriedly said, ”I’m not, I’m with Qi Taiguo, I’m his brother-in-law!”

The police leader thought, you are exactly the one to be caught, the one to be taught a lesson for being audacious.

”Deputy Battalion Commander Qi said you need to reflect well, let’s go!” The leader personally cuffed him.

Zhang Jisheng’s legs went soft, and he kneeled on the ground.

How could this happen, wasn’t Taiguo here to save him, but to send him to prison?

Zhang Jisheng watched Qi Taiguo walk further and further away, his heart turned cold.

...

Cheng Su kept comforting Qi Fenglian and hurried to open the door upon hearing a knock.

”How did it go?” Cheng Su looked behind him, seeing no sign of Zhang Jisheng.

Qi Fenglian also looked over, heart sinking, wondering if something happened?

”It’s a very lousy scam, not worth mentioning, he’s just stupid and blinded by lust.” Qi Taiguo told Cheng Su, though it seemed directed at Qi Fenglian too.

”What about the person? Didn’t bring him back? How much money?” Cheng Su asked.

Qi Fenglian’s ears perked up too, concerned about those thugs.

”No money was needed, I beat them up and handed them to the police.” Qi Taiguo said blandly, ”As for Zhang Jisheng, the same, I had them put him in the detention center!”

”What?” In the detention center?

Cheng Su and Qi Fenglian were both stunned.

”Taiguo, this...” Qi Fenglian felt a bit anxious; she really hadn’t expected things to turn out like this.

”Sister, someone like him, without a major lesson, won’t learn. It’s just right, take this chance to make him suffer, so he knows what he should and shouldn’t do in the future!” Qi Taiguo said sternly, ”You don’t need to plead for him, or soften. He won’t die in there, this is what he deserves.”

Qi Fenglian lowered her head and said, ”I certainly won’t plead for this bastard.”

Seeing her like this, Cheng Su knew she didn’t mean it, thinking Qi Taiguo did the right thing. That guy should suffer; otherwise, he wouldn’t realize the reality.

Thinking this, he quietly gave Qi Taiguo a thumbs up.
