Back To The 80s: President's Doted Wife

Chapter 938: Chapter 939: Qi Taiguo’s Wrath

Qi Taiguo was already filled with anger with nowhere to vent it, and this little punk’s words were like throwing fuel on the fire, making his rage soar to the highest point.

Qi Fenglian was bewildered; the successive blows left her in a daze. What did he say?

Zhang Jisheng messed with someone else’s woman, got caught, and now they want one hundred yuan for ransom?

Qi Fenglian rolled her eyes and fainted from sheer anger.

”Big sister.” Cheng Su called urgently and quickly pressed her philtrum.

Qi Fenglian didn’t want to wake up, but it was Qi Taiguo who forcefully pressed, bringing her back to consciousness.

As soon as she woke up, she began to scream and cry sharply, wailing, ”What sin, that bastard, he’s courting death.”

Cheng Su had a headache.

Looking at those two little punks again, they didn’t dare step forward. Cheng Su walked up to Qi Taiguo and whispered, ”There seems to be something fishy here. Could it be a set-up trap?”

Zhang Jisheng’s guts, visiting prostitutes is a business transaction, but to mess with a gangster boss’s woman, even with a hundredfold courage, he wouldn’t dare.

Qi Taiguo’s face turned cold and he said, ”I’ll go take a look.”

”Let’s go together,” Cheng Su feared something might happen to him.

”No worries, you stay home. I doubt they’d dare do anything to me. Just watch over big sister,” Qi Taiguo said.

Cheng Su looked at the endlessly crying Qi Fenglian and had no choice but to nod.

Qi Taiguo followed, or rather, commanded the two punks to lead the way to the place where Zhang Jisheng was held.

It was a small residential house with a redwood office desk and chairs, a few old sofas. Zhang Jisheng, in the dead of winter, was wearing only underwear, kneeling on the ground, curled into a ball, his lips turning purple from the cold.

In the room were several people, one wearing a dark red suit with a white shirt, a cigarette in his mouth, looking very much like a mob boss.

The punk who led the way ran into the room first, whispered a few words in Axe Master’s ear, causing him to twitch his hand and sit up slightly, looking at the person at the door.

Qi Taiguo appeared at the door, blocking most of the light, his eyes sharp like an eagle swept over the room’s furnishings, then landed on Zhang Jisheng kneeling on the ground.

If looks could kill, then Zhang Jisheng would have died thousands of times already.

”Taiguo, you’re here, save me, hurry...” Zhang Jisheng saw Qi Taiguo as if seeing a savior, then his voice faded, not daring to look Qi Taiguo in the eye.

Would he beat me to death?

Zhang Jisheng shrank his head like a quail, not daring to make another sound, just trembling.

Axe Master stood up, walked towards Qi Taiguo, and asked, ”Are you here to ransom this person?”

Qi Taiguo did not even glance at him, fists clenched, directly walked up to Zhang Jisheng, grabbed his throat, and lifted him up.

”Cough, cough, Taig...” Zhang Jisheng’s face turned blue and purple, struggling continuously.

”I told you, if you dared to be bad to my big sister, I’d kill you, I said I would,” Qi Taiguo’s grip gradually tightened.

Zhang Jisheng’s tongue stuck out.

And the gangsters in the room all backed off a few steps in fear. After all, they were just into some fighting and setting up a trap to catch a rooster, not the murder and robbery kind.

But Qi Taiguo, without a word, stepped forward and strangled the person’s neck, lifting him high. The murderous aura around him was as sharp as a sword, making people not dare to approach.

This, what is this? Isn’t he here to ransom the person? Why does he want to kill?
