*THUD!*

Before Dylan could even try to get back up, Kyle stepped forward and stomped directly into his abdomen.

”Kugh!”

Dylan let out an audible groan as his body curled from the sudden pain. His hands instinctively moved toward his stomach, but even that simple movement looked difficult now.

”What happened to you, son of a bitch?”

The situation had completely overturned. What had seemed like the end of Kyle only moments ago had instead become the beginning of Dylan’s downfall. The man who had been choking Kyle to death now lay helplessly on the pavement, bleeding from every cut Kyle had inflicted on him and rapidly losing the strength to fight back.

Kyle looked down at him with an anger that hadn’t faded.

*Kick!*

”You were saying a lot of shit for someone who can’t even defeat a single fragile guy like me!”

Kyle kicked him directly in the stomach again.

”UGH!”

Dylan’s body curled up from the impact.

Kyle’s anger was completely justified. Every time he remembered what Dylan had been planning to do to Lira if Kyle had been killed, his blood boiled even more. The thought alone made him want to kill him brutally right now.

”Fucking son of a bitch! I’m going to kill you!”

Kyle gritted his teeth.

He suddenly noticed Dylan’s hand lying against the rough pavement.

Kyle stepped on it.

*CRUSH!*

Dylan’s eyes widened.

”GRRH—Yo-you bastard!”

Kyle didn’t move his foot.

Instead, he slowly increased the pressure, grinding Dylan’s palm against the rough, uneven pavement beneath the night sky.

”Cocky son of a bitch. I’ll make you eat every single word you said about Lira and me!”

Dylan groaned in agony.

Kyle’s anger only intensified. The more he thought about what that bastard would have done to Lira if he hadn’t been there with her today, the more furious he became. He wasn’t even angry for himself; he was angry for Lira, whose life could have been completely ruined by this bastard who had planned to rape her.

Every word made him press harder.

*CRUSH! GRIND!*

Dylan’s palm scraped against the concrete until the skin tore and blood began spreading across the pavement. Small pieces of torn skin remained caught in the cavities of the rough road.

”GRRHH!”

The same man who had been acting invincible only minutes ago was now crying out in pain like a child after being beaten.

Kyle finally lifted his foot.

Dylan immediately tried to move.

*Squirm.*

He pushed against the pavement with his other hand, desperately trying to drag himself away.

But Kyle simply reached down and placed his palm against Dylan’s shoulder.

*touch*

Dylan’s shoulder suddenly weakened.

His attempt to push himself up failed, and he collapsed back onto the pavement.

”What the—”

He tried again.

Kyle touched his thigh.

Dylan’s leg immediately lost its strength.

He couldn’t stand.

Dylan’s expression changed from anger to confusion.

Every time he tried to move, Kyle simply touched the relevant muscle group and relaxed it for a few seconds. His shoulder, his thigh, his arm—Kyle didn’t need to immobilize his entire body. He only needed to keep taking away the parts Dylan tried to use.

”It’s futile.”

Kyle crouched down beside him.

”You’re not leaving until I want you to. And that’s never.”

Dylan’s eyes widened.

”I’ll send you to hell myself rather than let you walk out of here alive, son of a bitch.”

Kyle leaned closer and spat directly onto Dylan’s face.

*Spit!*

”Yo-you... What the hell are you?! What are you doing to me?!”

Dylan tried moving away, but Kyle grabbed him by the shirt and held him down.

”You should ask yourself first what you were trying to do to her if I wasn’t here!”

Dylan’s face went pale.

Kyle’s anger hadn’t diminished even slightly.

He looked at the blood covering Dylan’s face, then remembered how casually the bastard had talked about Lira while Kyle was trapped in his chokehold.

”You really thought you could do whatever the fuck you wanted.”

Dylan tried crawling backward to get away from him but Kyle immediately touched his thigh again.

*Touch*

The muscles weakened.

Dylan’s leg gave out.

”No...”

Kyle raised his leg.

Dylan looked up at him.

”Wait—”

*DROP!*

Kyle brought his foot down directly onto Dylan’s face.

*SMASH!*

Dylan’s nose broke instantly.

Blood rushed from his nostrils as his head slammed against the pavement.

”GRRHH!”

Dylan screamed and instinctively covered his face with his good hand.

Kyle stared down at him.

The sight of Dylan—the same man who had been laughing and threatening them only minutes ago—now bleeding helplessly on the ground gave Kyle no satisfaction.

Only anger.

”You were so fucking cocky earlier.”

Kyle grabbed Dylan by the collar and pulled his face closer.

”What happened?”

Dylan’s breathing became shaky.

Kyle released him, letting his head hit the pavement again.

*THUD!*

Dylan tried crawling away.

Kyle stepped beside him and grabbed his shoulder.

”Where are you going?”

”N-no...”

”Didn’t you say whoever messes with you won’t live another day?”

Kyle’s voice became colder.

”Didn’t you say you were going to kill me?”

Dylan’s lips trembled.

Kyle crouched beside him.

”Then get up and do it.”

Dylan stared at him.

”Get the fuck up!”

Dylan tried.

He planted his good hand against the pavement and attempted to push himself upright.

Kyle watched him struggle like dying dog.

The moment Dylan managed to lift his body slightly, Kyle touched his thigh again.

*touch*

His leg immediately weakened.

Dylan collapsed.

”ARGH!”

Kyle grabbed his collar once more.

”You can’t even stand anymore.”

Dylan’s breathing became increasingly frantic.

The confidence he had carried earlier was completely gone. There was no smugness left in his expression, no murderous grin, no arrogant threats.

There was only fear on in his heart that Swallowed his body.

Kyle looked at him for several seconds.

Dylan swallowed hard.

”Please...”

Kyle’s eyes narrowed.

Dylan’s voice trembled as he stared up at him.

”Please... don’t...”

He tried to move backward, but his weakened body barely responded.

”I-I’ll...”

Dylan hesitated, his pride visibly crumbling as he realized that the man he had considered an easy victim now had complete control over whether he walked away alive.

”Please, I’ll do anything...”

He looked at Kyle with desperation.

”Just... please don’t kill me.”

”It’s too late for that.” Kyle said, looking at him with disgust.
