His palm slammed against the man’s chest.

*Click.*

For a brief moment, nothing seemed to happen.

Kyle’s heart sank.

’It didn’t work—’

Then the man’s expression suddenly changed.

His upper body went slack. The muscles beneath Kyle’s palm visibly relaxed, and the man’s posture immediately became unstable. The punch that had been coming toward Kyle lost most of its force as the muscles in his shoulder and chest suddenly failed to maintain the same tension.

”What the—?”

The man stumbled forward, his arm dropping awkwardly as he struggled to keep his balance.

Kyle’s eyes widened.

’It fucking worked! It fucking did!’

[Silk Touch activated.]

[The muscles at the point of contact have been temporarily relaxed.]

Kyle didn’t waste a second.

*Only the part I touched...*

So that was the trick. It couldn’t paralyze an entire person, but if he used it on the right muscle at the right moment, he could disrupt their attacks and create an opening.

And right now, he had one.

Kyle twisted his body violently and drove his head backward into the nose of the man holding him.

*CRACK!*

”ARGH!”

The grip around Kyle’s chest loosened immediately. Kyle ducked beneath the bastard’s arm and slipped free before turning toward the man whose chest he had touched. His upper body was still unsteady, and he was struggling to bring his arm back up.

’Few second huh?’

Kyle’s eyes sharpened.

’That’s more than enough for me to make it out of here alive!’

He stepped forward and drove his fist straight into the man’s jaw.

*BAM!*

The crony staggered sideways, but Kyle followed without hesitation, burying another punch into his stomach.

”Ugh!”

The man’s body folded forward.

Kyle grabbed the back of his head and drove his knee into his face.

*THUD!*

The crony collapsed onto the concrete.

Kyle immediately turned around.

”Four more!”

His voice came out harsher than he expected. His fear was still there, his hands were still trembling, and every instinct in his body was telling him to run. But now he knew he had a chance.

He just had to use it properly.

”You son of a bitch! Whatever fucking trick you played on him won’t work on all of us!”

The tall, skinny goon charged at him from the front.

Kyle barely had time to raise his guard before the bastard came straight at him with a wild punch. At the same time, the fat crony rushed in from behind, apparently trying to shove Kyle into the incoming attack.

Kyle’s eyes flicked between them.

’Fuck, they’re attacking together!’

He dropped his body.

*Whoosh!*

The skinny goon’s fist sailed over his head just as Kyle ducked underneath it. At the same moment, the fat bastard’s momentum carried him forward.

*SMASH!*

His shoulder slammed directly into the skinny goon.

”Gah!”

Both men crashed into each other and tumbled onto the ground.

”What the fuck are you doing?!” the skinny goon yelled, clutching his ribs after taking the full impact of his companion’s shoulder.

Kyle straightened up and couldn’t help but chuckle.

”Fuckers.”

But before he could even enjoy the moment, another attack came from his side.

They weren’t giving him even a second to breathe.

The third crony swung a heavy punch toward the side of Kyle’s head.

Kyle quickly leaned backward, narrowly avoiding the blow, but instead of simply retreating, he reached out and caught the man’s forearm in mid-swing.

*Touch.*

His palm made contact with the man’s arm.

The crony’s expression immediately changed.

”What—?”

Kyle felt the muscles beneath his palm relax.

The man’s forearm suddenly went limp, and the force behind his attack disappeared. His fist dropped uselessly instead of smashing into Kyle’s face.

Kyle’s eyes lit up.

’This is some wonderful skill!’

He didn’t let go of his hand just yet and before the bastard could understand what had happened, Kyle shifted his grip and slapped his other hand against the man’s opposite arm.

*Touch.*

The second arm immediately lost its strength.

Both of the man’s arms hung uselessly at his sides.

”What the fuck did you—”

Kyle’s fist answered before he could finish.

*SMASH!*

His punch crashed into the right side of the man’s face with enough force to snap his head sideways.

”Grhh!”

The crony spat a mouthful of blood onto the ground.

”Here’s another punch too, motherfucker!”

Kyle stepped in and delivered another punch to the opposite side of his face.

*CRACK!*

The bastard’s eyes rolled back, and his legs gave out beneath him.

*THUD!*

He hit the ground like a sack of potato.

Kyle stared down at him for a moment.

Then he looked at his own fist.

’Damn... when did I become this strong? I should really thank robot after I am done with this.’

The robot training really had done wonders for him.

Before the system and the training, Kyle had never been someone who could casually knock out experienced street fighters with a handful of punches. Yet now, within only a few minutes, two of them were already lying unconscious on the ground.

And he hadn’t even gone all out.

A grin slowly spread across Kyle’s face.

”Two down. Three remain!”

He raised his fists, his earlier fear gradually giving way to confidence.

For the first time since the fight had started, Kyle actually felt like he might have the upper hand.

The remaining three stared at him in disbelief. None of them could understand what had just happened.

One moment, they had been surrounding an ordinary-looking guy who was desperately trying to protect his girlfriend. The next, two of their own men were already lying on the ground, and Kyle was standing there as if he had only just warmed up.

*Step.*

The two cronies instinctively took a step backward.

They couldn’t help it. There was something different about the man standing in front of them now.

He still looked like an average Joe, but he moved like someone who had actually fought before, and the power behind his punches was completely disproportionate to his appearance.

”WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU BASTARDS DOING?!”

The crooked-faced bastard’s roar snapped them out of their hesitation.

”KILL HIM!”
