Kyle read the report even though he hadn’t expected anything impressive. Still, seeing the numbers laid out so coldly left a sour taste in his mouth.

”These stats are a mess...” he muttered, disappointment clear in his voice.

[No need to sulk, Host. These stats aren’t fixed. If you start improving your life, they’ll rise too. So don’t feel too disappointed—they’re pretty average, except for the sex appeal and overall body. Those are below average.]

The system’s words lifted his mood for a second, until the last sentence landed and dragged it right back down. Hearing that his sex appeal was low hit harder than he expected.

[Ah—my bad, Host. Shouldn’t have phrased it like that.]

”It’s alright. I don’t mind. I’m fully aware my dating and sex life is non-existent. You don’t have to try to make me feel better. It’s just... seeing it written out as stats made me realize how bad it actually is.”

[While we’re at it, I should give you the first quest now.]

[There you go. This is your first quest. It’s pretty easy, and I believe you’ll be able to complete it without much trouble.]

”Yeah, it looks easy enough. I only need to record myself jerking off,” Kyle said, nodding in agreement.

”I can hide my face, right?” he asked.

[Of course. Hiding your face or not is completely your choice. It won’t affect the quest in any way for now.]

”That’s good to know. Otherwise it would be pretty embarrassing recording my face while just masturbating,” he said with a sigh of relief.

[I’m surprised you’re ready to jump on a quest so quickly. I thought you’d start nagging and complaining.]

”Why would you think that? I’m broke, and the reward is one and a half months of my usual salary. Why wouldn’t I do it? Five minutes of work for a month and a half of pay!” Excitement crept into his voice.

[That’s good to hear. I love the enthusiasm. You’ve got the drive of someone aiming to become the most famous pornstar across the entire universe.]

----

Kyle stared at the glowing quest window floating in front of him for a long moment, heart already beating a little too fast. Five thousand dollars. One and a half months of his old salary for basically jerking off on camera. The math was stupidly simple. The reality was not.

He locked his bedroom door even though he lived alone, then locked it a second time just to be sure. Curtains closed. Lights dimmed to the soft glow of the desk lamp. Phone propped against a stack of unpaid bills on the nightstand, front camera facing the bed. He sat on the edge of the mattress in only his boxers, staring at his own reflection on the screen.

”Okay... just like the System said. Face can stay hidden.” He angled the phone so it only showed from his chest down. ”Easy. Totally easy.”

His hands were already a little sweaty.

He pushed the boxers down and kicked them off. His cock was only half-hard, more from nerves than anything else. He wrapped his right hand around it and gave a slow stroke, trying to will it to full attention. The first few pumps felt mechanical. He kept glancing at the little red recording light like it was judging him.

”Fuck... this is weird,” he muttered under his breath. His voice sounded too loud in the quiet room. ”I’m literally filming myself jerking off for money. What the hell is my life right now?”

He closed his eyes and tried to focus on something hot. Anything. The thought of actually finishing a quest, of five thousand dollars hitting his empty account, of not having to choose between toilet paper and instant noodles. Slowly, the nerves started mixing with something else. His cock thickened in his grip, swelling until it stood fully hard, the head already glossy.

Kyle bit his lower lip and started stroking properly. Long, firm pulls from base to tip, twisting slightly on the upstroke the way he always did when he was alone and desperate. Soft wet sounds filled the room. His breathing got heavier. He spread his knees wider so the camera could see everything—his hand working his shaft, the way his balls tightened, the precum that began to bead and then drip.

”Shit... okay, that’s better,” he whispered, voice rough. He sped up a little, hips rocking up to meet his fist. The bed creaked under him. Every time he opened his eyes and saw himself on the small screen—cock glistening, hand moving, abs tensing—his face burned hotter, but his dick only got harder.

He kept going, chasing the edge. Pre became a steady string of clear fluid that coated his fingers and made every stroke louder, wetter. His free hand gripped the sheets. Thighs flexed. He was panting now, low and shaky, the kind of sound he never made when he was just quietly getting off in the dark.

”Fuck... fuck, I’m close—”

His rhythm turned messy. Faster. Tighter. The head of his cock flared dark and angry every time it punched through his fist. He could feel it building low and heavy, the kind of orgasm that had been waiting for weeks of stress and zero relief. His toes curled. A broken groan slipped out.

”Ahh—shit—”

He came hard.

Thick ropes of cum shot up across his stomach and chest, one after another, some of it even reaching his collarbone. His hand kept stroking through it, milking every pulse until the last weak spurts dribbled over his knuckles. His whole body shuddered. For a few seconds he just sat there breathing hard, cock still twitching in his sticky grip, the camera still recording every messy second.

”...Holy fuck.”

He reached over with a shaky hand and stopped the recording.

The file sat on his phone, only a few minutes long. Face never shown. Just a clear view of him jerking off until he painted himself. He stared at the thumbnail like it might explode.

Uploading took longer than the actual act. He created a throwaway account on the first free tube site that didn’t ask for ID, titled the video something basic—”First Time Solo (Face Hidden)”—and hit post before he could talk himself out of it. The progress bar crawled. His heart stayed in his throat the entire time.

The moment the upload finished, the System window bloomed in front of his eyes again, bright and clinical.

A soft chime followed. His phone buzzed with a bank notification. Five thousand dollars. Just sitting there.

Kyle slumped back against the pillows, still naked, still covered in his own cum, staring at the ceiling with a dazed grin.

”Five grand...” he whispered. ”For five minutes of jerking off.”

[Congratulations, Host. First content successfully produced. Ranking has been updated. You are no longer completely worthless.]

He snorted, wiped his sticky hand on the sheets, and finally let himself laugh—quiet, slightly hysterical, and very, very relieved.
