The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 536: Meeting Echidna, Goddess of the Abyss

”...Is this it?” I arrive at an area of the Abyss that is, at the very least, bizarre. Reality here folds in on itself, creating a sort of immense dome of reality. Inside it, I see a vast city with structures floating everywhere, and above all, I sense a dreadful yet familiar aura.

’My mother is in there...’ This gigantic aura, which seems invincible to my current power, can only come from my mother. I’ve finally found her after so many years of searching. Since time in the Abyss flows strangely, perhaps only one second has passed since I entered.

There’s no way to know, but it doesn’t matter. Finding my mother, I’ll be able to learn many things, grow stronger, and devise a plan to fight the goddesses and kill Elysia.

’Come to think of it, Elysia is kind of my aunt...’ All the goddesses are ”daughters” of the Primordial Goddess, so technically they’re all sisters. So, if I stop to think about it, I’m kind of aiming to kill my aunt.

But also, if I stop to think, I’m making one of my aunts my wife by having relations with Delphina, so I’d rather not think about anything.

’Better stop having weird thoughts... I need to enter this city.’ I tap this reality bubble to test it. Its resistance is absurd, and it functions like a wall, so I can’t just go inside.

”Breaking reality these days is easy, but I don’t think I can break this wall...” I start circling around this barrier. There are small fissures less than 30 centimeters long.

But since I’m 10 meters tall, there’s no way I’d fit and pass through them. Besides, the fissures seem unstable; trying to pass through them could be dangerous.

”Maybe I can widen one?” I cover my hands with the element of Doom. Since it was made to annihilate everything it touches, it serves as a protective glove to shield me from this reality bubble.

I crouch down, level with a fissure, and using my four arms, I try to pull and push to widen it.

”Damn this giant body! Just one of my tits is over 1 meter 70 centimeters!!! Why the hell won’t this hole open?” Even with my strength and the Doom element, I can’t open the hole.

And my body is too big to pass through. I don’t want to leave my true form; I’m more powerful in this form and can use much more power transformed. Using my normal humanoid form would only weaken me, and right now, every bit of power I have is necessary.

’Maybe I could pass if I compress and crush my bones and organs to squeeze through... but I’d come out the other side looking like spaghetti, and if the fissure closed, I might be cut in two... and I don’t know what harmful effects that would have.’ It sucks not being able to use teleportation in the Abyss.

”Tsk!” I widen the hole a bit more and start punching this wall. It seems this challenge is still left for me to overcome.

”A reality bubble... if it’s a bubble, it must have a point where it’s more fragile...” I start circling the bubble again, which is gigantic. Probably, even at my top speed, without using the zero-second instant movement, it would take days to examine the entire bubble.

”...Ahhhh.” I open my mouth—the one on my belly—and lick this barrier, tasting it. Then I realize something. I can taste it, and my tongue in my belly can touch it. And if I can touch it, I can eat it.

Crack

I bite the bubble, and my teeth tear off a piece of reality. My Devourer passive activating to consume it. I start chewing and tearing off chunks as I devour.

’The mouth on the belly is useful, but very inconvenient...’ Being located on my belly, I have to hug large things to eat them, and that’s very inconvenient.

”Maybe I can create a head?” It’s not impossible using biological alteration. It would be more like a ”tertiary appendage” that isn’t useful for anything else, but it functions.

And honestly, I’m only thinking of creating a head purely for the mouth’s function. A head is more convenient for eating than this huge mouth on my belly.

”Well, aesthetically, I’d look much more like a humanoid if I had a head...” But even if I had a head, I wouldn’t be able to remove the black spiral that currently floats above my neck.

Because that spiral is a fundamental part of what makes up my body, just like the giant eye floating behind me. I can’t get rid of it. So, the head wouldn’t replace anything; it’s purely for the mouth.

’Maybe if I create the head hollow, I can hide the spiral inside the skull. It’s not like I need a brain, a pair of eyes, a nose, and ears...’ Everything useful a head has, my body already possesses.

”Yeah... that’s a good option... also good for deceiving opponents.” A head is a ”weak” point, but since my head would just be a decoration so I can use a mouth more efficiently, it doesn’t really matter if it gets destroyed or not.

I start to try. Since it’s my own creation, the head’s appearance depends entirely on me, but I don’t want to look different. So, I create the head identical to my previous humanoid body’s: with long black hair, pale skin, and red eyes.

Inside, the head is completely hollow, with nothing real—no brain, no veins, no nervous system. Just a hollow sphere with the black spiral dripping that black goo, which runs straight down the neck.

’It’s kind of uncomfortable...’ I don’t like it. It feels like anatomically, my true form was made not to have a head.

”What a shame...” I use the head’s mouth to chew on the reality bubble, and as soon as I open a hole big enough to pass through, I undo the head.

”Aesthetically it’s useful, but since aesthetics don’t matter to me right now, I guess I’ll only use this head when I want to eat something more efficiently or when I’m having sex with someone.” I start to enter the hole I made with my teeth.

Drops of black goo drip down my body and trickle to the ground. Since I’m headless again, the drops continue splattering on the floor. The head at least made the drops just fall down the neck and inside—a small advantage of the head that makes no real difference.

”I’m in...” The mouth on my belly smiles in satisfaction as I look around. It’s very quiet, as if all living beings here are afraid of disturbing the Abyss Goddess, who is obviously in the immense black castle floating in the sky that I can see from here.

”...” I begin to float gently toward the castle, my four hands rubbing together in eager anticipation. After all, I’m going to see my mother again after so long.

Besides, I’m far too anxious about what she’ll think of my true form. Aesthetically, it’s beautiful even without a head, but what truly matters is its power.

’This aura...’ I sense a second dreadful and dark aura, which I easily recognize as my older sister’s because it’s too vast and destructive even by Abyss standards. It seems she reached mommy before I did.

’The whole family reunited... how wonderful.’ I land on the ground outside the floating castle. I see some monsters tending to a sort of garden. They look at me for a few seconds as if assessing me.

”...” I snap my fingers, killing them all at once, crushing them with gravity by using [Demon King’s Gravitational Pressure]. It’s my ”I have arrived” announcement to everyone in the castle.

My gravitational aura, even though it’s intense, doesn’t damage anything, showing the insane durability of this castle.

”Mommy really has excellent taste in design,” I say cheerfully as I reach the castle door, opening it like a daughter returning home. Strangely, the door is immense, and I have to float to reach the door latch.

I feel... familiarity with this place, as if I’ve been here before. And I know I have—in egg form. My body recognizes this environment as its ”home,” the place where my mother conceived me.

”Hahaha, who would have thought...” Me, born as that weak little thing, hatching from an egg to cause chaos, I’ve become this giant beauty full of power. Destiny really is a great cosmic joke sometimes.

’Pity the reception isn’t so fancy...’ No one came to greet me. Not that I expected it. They’re monsters; I doubt they have noble etiquette. After all, that sort of thing doesn’t exist around here.

”...” I walk directly to where I feel my mother is. She’s standing in one place, but it’s obvious she’s already noticed me and is waiting for me.

’It’s kind of suffocating...’ At the goddess gathering, everyone’s power was contained, so it was easy to be near them even though they were level 100 billion and I was below level 100,000.

But now, nothing limits my mother’s aura. And even though I’m level 2 billion, my mother’s aura is oppressive, making me feel like I’m being crushed. It’s no wonder my mother has few close servants.

It’s not just about utility; it’s because anyone below 1 billion levels could never withstand being near my mother unless they had some skill for it or were a race with great regeneration like... tentacles.

”Urgh, that fucking tentacle bitch really rented a permanent space in my memories.” Good thing I killed that whore and erased her permanently from the history of existence.

I start walking in complete silence as I get closer to where my mother is. The silence is strange. Not that the Abyss isn’t already quiet, but here the silence is even greater.

’This is it...’ I reach the point where I feel her aura. The entire castle inside is gigantic. Even with my 10-meter body, I’m still smaller than the height of the door’s keyhole.

’My mother is probably going to look very different from the first time I saw her...’ I open the door and immediately observe everything inside the hall, seeing my mother. And my god, she is so different from the first time I saw her.

She has long black hair that falls to her waist, with eyes that are a dark black like a black hole, while a large red X covers her pupils. The shade of red is so vibrant it seems alive. Her large, imposing breasts are blatantly and intimidatingly visible.

Her extremely voluptuous body evokes both a feeling of lust and a certain dread. Her height is easily 20 to 25 meters. She has large black horns with red stripes.

While a black mark like a constellation encircles her neck. Behind her, a large black halo floats. The halo emits an orange glow and almost resembles the form of a black hole with a hole leading to nothingness at its center.

Her extremely pale skin has so much Mana covering it that it seems like armor, even without any attempt at defense.

Her clothes are absurdly revealing, as if made purely for aesthetics. I can easily see the edges of her nipple and the immense cleavage of her outfit, which strangely covers a lot, yet barely covers what’s important to cover.

This is my mother’s form without hiding her power—a form she didn’t show at the goddess gathering. Probably after this comes her monster transformation, which from what I’ve heard is completely monstrous.

She’s so big I feel like a little child next to her. I thought 10 meters tall was pretty big, but she’s more than double my height.
