The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 11: Announcement for the Demons

Itʼs been 1 week since my request, things have become slightly strange between us, but nothing problematic, Elena still teaches me diligently and in the same stern way as always.

She taught me the fundamentals of magic and how the abilities work, I was amazed to discover that it is practically the same as what happens in an anime, the biggest difference is how the release of magic happens.

And that the unique abilities can or cannot use magic, as well as passives that are always active and passives that sometimes deactivate. My ability to see emotions is a passive that I can deactivate, while my passive Adaptive Talent is always active.

I ended up activating the passive of seeing emotions and looked at Elena, she has a bright light orange color like the sun, showing her loyalty, this color is also in all the maids although slightly weaker. Another color I saw in Elena is when weʼre in the bath, her color becomes a beautiful light pink, although Iʼm not sure what that color represents.

”Your Majesty, I have some news, some good, some bad,” Elena says as she places several papers in front of me.

”From bad news, the main one is that now other races know that Your Majesty was born...”

”H-How?”

”Some annoying beings used magic to find out, then sold this information, although we are currently at war only with humans, this will change in the future.”

”Why?”

”Because many races hate demons, but did nothing because it was ʼunnecessaryʼ now that a demon king has been born, this will be a reason for them to want war with us.”

”T-This is very bad...” I think about the problems that will come with this.

”Not so much Your Majesty, the biggest problem for Your Majesty are unique abilities, and only heroes possess them, so Your Majesty as long as you can use your full power can easily decimate armies alone.”

”It makes sense, but doesnʼt mean itʼs not dangerous, right?”

”Yes, although they are not a great threat yet they are a threat, but fortunately preparing for a war from scratch consumes a lot of time, so they canʼt start the war now.”

”How long until the war breaks out?” I hope my status is fully unlocked when the war happens.

”About 2 to 5 years Your Majesty.”

”...Longer than I expected.”

”Starting a war is expensive, and several races are currently fighting, so they not only have to prepare for the war but also need time to recover from the damage they already have.”

”Why am I the reason they want war now?”

”They are afraid of Your Majesty, the demon king for all other races is a symbol of destruction and death, being a being they want to kill at all costs before it can get too strong.”

”How long until I have my full power?”

”...I donʼt know...it depends on how fast your body gets used to your own power, it can take hours, days, weeks, months and even years.”

ʼI sincerely hope it doesnʼt take years, I donʼt have confidence to fight a war with my sealed status, after all 1 against thousands in the current state is impossible.ʼ

”What other news, Elena?”

”From bad news we still have...the human kingdom has started an attempt to form an alliance with other races, humans did not consider demons a threat since we are ʼdisorderlyʼ, but now with a Demon King, demons naturally have a leader.”

”This is terrible, those treacherous rats...tsk” Just hearing this already irritates me, my desire to tear them apart only grows, unlike them who can have allies, demons are alone.

”Now the good news, although it took a while, finally Your Majesty has your own castle, and we were able to use a magic to reach the demons collectively, meaning that Your Majesty can finally announce your existence to the demons.”

ʼThat fast...ʼ

”What will happen to the mansion?” I didnʼt want to have to abandon this mansion, it was the first place in years that I felt comfortable.

”Weʼll take it with us.”

”Yes, we...we what?” She said something that confuses me.

”What do you mean by... taking the mansion?” Although I havenʼt gone out to walk outside the mansion, I know itʼs very big.

”We will use magic, and we will take the entire mansion to near Your Majestyʼs castle.”

”...whatʼs the reason?” I donʼt think itʼs bad to take the mansion, but she must have a reason for it.

”We canʼt abandon the place where Your Majesty was born, this place must be preserved as a sacred sanctuary, just like the one for Your Majestyʼs sister.”

”...Sanctuary...do all Demon Kings have this?” I canʼt believe she wants to turn the place where my eggʼs shell is into a sanctuary.

”No, only the daughters of the abyss have this privilege, the sanctuary of the birthplace of Your Majestyʼs older sister still exists, in case Your Majesty one day wants to visit, we can take you there.”

ʼThis could be interesting...ʼ Iʼm curious to know where my older sister was born...I wonder where the seal of my older sister is, when I have all my power I can try to free her.

”Weʼll go to Your Majestyʼs castle as soon as weʼre done packing everything...it should take about...30 minutes to an hour.”

ʼSo fast...ʼ

”You said make an announcement to the demons...how will that work?”

”As soon as Your Majesty is ready, we will use magic so that all the demons on the continent can see Your Majesty as well as hear your words, although we can only maintain the transmission for 5 minutes as it consumes a lot of magic.”

”Prepare my dress, Iʼll make the speech in 30 minutes...” Although it may be a bit rushed, I want to finish this now, Iʼll show the world that I, Pandora, will be the greatest calamity in this world.

”...Understood Your Majesty, we will release information about Your Majesty shortly after the live broadcast.”

”Chief Maid, arrange a room, prepare the dresses, prepare the environment, prepare the transmission artifact, prepare the accessories and send all the demons a message through the system informing that we will have a transmission from Your Majesty in 27 minutes and 32 seconds.”

ʼNow I feel nervous...well if it goes wrong Iʼll let my instincts speak...I just hope I donʼt say nonsense.ʼ After Elena gives the orders, she takes me to get ready, I just hope everything goes well.

...

...

...

”Hey, did you see, Your Majesty is going to make a statement, finally after 800 years a new demon king has emerged.”

”Yes, Iʼm very excited, from the information she is a daughter of the abyss, our goddess had another daughter.”

All the demons in the bar are excited, although the threat of humans has left many demons nervous, now that a demon king has emerged we no longer need to worry.

”...Interesting...I wonder what Your Majesty is like...” At least I know she wonʼt be an incompetent like the old demon king, Iʼm sure our new demon king will be as competent as the goddessʼs older daughter.

All the demons agree when they say that the daughter of the Goddess was the best demon king who has ever been born, she was considered as strong as the Goddesses, being much more than a natural disaster for the world, all the races of this world had no chance against her, and even the heroes were trash compared to her.

During her reign, the demons evolved a lot, whether in power or technology, everyone hopes that the new demon king who is the younger sister of the strongest demon king in history will be as good as her older sister.

”I wonder how she will be...” Demons have long lifespans while the daughters of the abyss have infinite lifespans, we demons always maintain records of our entire history and culture, humans call us disorderly, but this is wrong.

We just donʼt obsess over anyone, but we are very organized when we have a leader or when it comes to the history of our people.

”H-Hey, itʼs starting, everyone shut up.” The bar owner says to everyone.

ʼFinally Iʼll see what sheʼs like.ʼ

Soon an image appears on my system, I see a beautiful girl with pale skin and blood-red eyes, her pupils forming a black spiral as if it were infinite, matching her beautiful jet-black hair.

She wears a black Gothic Lolita-style dress, while on her head she has a beautiful black and red spiral accessory, her appearance is stunning, easily surpassing the appearance of the old demon king.

Her black and red angelic halo shows her descent from our goddess, while her black tail shows that she has characteristics very similar to her older sister.

Soon she begins her speech.

”To all my subjects who urk...” She speaks confidently while her voice is beautiful with a soft and melodious tone, as soon as she starts speaking she seems to bite her tongue.

ʼHow cute...ʼ

Everyone seems to think the same as me.

All Demon Kings are always beautiful girls for some reason, but this is the purest deception, if anyone underestimates the Demon King just by their appearance, they will pay dearly.

No matter which Demon King it was, throughout the history of demons, the weakest Demon King had a status level higher than 50,000, so all Demon Kings are always absurdly strong, and this is only for normal Demon Kings, the daughters of the abyss are always stronger.

ʼIf Iʼm not mistaken, of the normal demon lords, the strongest had a level of 77,000... and the older sister of our new demon king had a status of 100,000.ʼ I wonder what the level of our new demon king is...maybe itʼs the same as her older sisterʼs.

”...” Soon our new Demon King remains silent, she seems embarrassed to have bitten her tongue in a broadcast to everyone.

She takes a deep breath, soon I see her eyes with a tone full of hatred beyond showing an incredible desire to destroy, as if she sees one of the greatest enemies of her life.

ʼWhat a fascinating gaze...ʼ soon she resumes her speech.

”These damned vermin called humans think they can defeat us, for years they have trodden on us, but now that Iʼm here...weʼll show these insolent ones that demons are the absolute race of this world.”

”In the last 800 years these insolent ones have become very arrogant, they even summoned heroes to eliminate us...but weʼll show them, Iʼll make these vermin pay, Iʼll tear their bodies apart, Iʼll torture them, Iʼll devour them, Iʼll make them know despair.”

”We demons will make these filth know their place, weʼll make them sink into the deepest pit of despair.”

”I will be a calamity that will sink this world into the abyss for my mother, the Goddess of the Abyss, I will place our race where it should be, at the top of this world, I will trample over any being that tries to stop me...if necessary, I will kill even the goddess of the humans, I wonʼt let anything or anyone stop me.”

”I will lead us all on this path of destruction, we will be an unstoppable force that will surpass any disaster these humans have ever witnessed.”

”The world belongs to the demons, and it always will, be it in the past, present or future, we demons will be the ones who have trampled on all the inhabitants of this world FOR OUR GODDESS, FOR THE ABYSS.”

Soon the transmission ends.

Everyone is silent for a moment, then the applause comes, everyone agrees with Her Majestyʼs speech.

Now that a demon king has emerged, we will show the humans that we are those who are above all.

”How interesting, I want to meet her...maybe itʼs time to visit Elena.” It was a good speech, it may not have been the most coherent or fantastic of all, but all demons understand, Her Majesty let her instincts dictate what she would say.

These are the true thoughts of Her Majesty, unlike the false human speeches that only use beautiful words to give ”Hope”, Her Majestyʼs speech was an honest speech, showing that she really plans to lead us and that just like all demons she likes our goddess.

Almost all normal Demon Kings stopped caring about our goddess over time, and during their first speech they let their subordinates do it, but just like her older sister, Her Majesty let her instincts guide her words.

A Demon King who really cares about our goddess in addition to wanting chaos and destruction, we couldnʼt want anything better. The more chaos in the world, the better for our goddess, the goddess of the humans will not be able to hold back the arrival of our goddess forever.

Taking me, I throw the money to the bartender and grab my big sword that was leaning on a nearby table, soon I blend into the shadows and disappear from the bar, going to complete my mission while thinking about when I can see Elena and meet the Demon King.

...

...

...

”E-Elena, was I good?” I say to her very nervous, when the broadcast started I got nervous knowing that millions of beings were watching and ended up biting my tongue.

Since I had already made a mess at the beginning, I let my instincts guide the conversation, I donʼt know if it was a good speech, but I hope it wasnʼt bad.

ʼW-Well...if the demons donʼt want to obey just because of this speech, I only need to force them to obey me.ʼ I am still the Demon King, if necessary I will use force to make them obey me.

”Your Majesty was good, this is the kind of speech that demons like, without much rambling, and more importantly, it shows that Your Majesty really cares,” Elena says, soon I look at some maids and see how they cry with excitement.

ʼIf she said so, then itʼs done, Iʼll just trust, I donʼt have much to do.ʼ Soon I walk through the door to go to the teleportation circle, now weʼre going to my castle.

ʼSuck it, you fools, while you had houses and mansions, I have a giant castle.ʼ Elena said the castle was ”Small” and that they would increase the size, but soon she spoke in comparison to the mansion, and the castle is clearly giant, to the point of being exaggerated, and it will get even bigger.

I walk excitedly and enter the circle, soon Elena enters the circle with me, the maids will come later, since they have to bring things, and theyʼll have to use some kind of magic to move the entire mansion territory near my castle.

”Are you ready Your Majesty?” Elena says while looking at me with a smile.

”Yes, letʼs go, I want to see my castle.” I can finally flaunt my luxury, so I want to see my castle, I even asked for the teleportation circle to send us to the castle entrance just so I could see it.

Soon the magic circle activates and the scenery changes. In front of me I see 2 rows of maids, the row is gigantic, I look up and see an enormous castle, so big it seems to touch the sky.

The Castle has a fantasy-style theme but in a Dark style, worthy of being called the Demon Kingʼs castle, even if I explored for days I wouldnʼt be able to see everything.

”WELCOME YOUR MAJESTY AND COMMANDER ELENA,” All the maids speak in unison. Soon I start running to enter the castle, I pass looking at the many maids, there are hundreds, maybe even thousands of them, all have very distinct appearances, showing the wide variety of demons that make them up.

”Your Majesty, when we enter we will go first to the throne room, there some of the noble demons from the mansion are waiting, they are responsible for the construction of the castle.”

”Ok, Ok, letʼs go, I want to explore a bit,” I say with a smile, while running towards the entrance. Wanting to explore my castle.
