The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 5: Birth of the Demon King

I didnʼt really feel any pain when I lost my head, it happened so fast that I didnʼt have time to process the pain. Now I feel like Iʼm floating in nothingness, thereʼs nothing around me, just pure darkness.

I donʼt have a body but I can see everything, I donʼt have sensations but I feel hatred and anger, I wasnʼt fast enough to realize it was a trap, I knew the Saint didnʼt like me, but she was still a Saint, so I never expected her to be so dirty.

Now all I can do is float in this endless void, I donʼt know what place this is, it doesnʼt seem like heaven or hell. Itʼs just an endless void.

[Donʼt you think this is unfair?]

A beautiful voice says, itʼs the only sound in this dark and gloomy void.

”Yes,” my death was unfair, all for the entertainment of those wretches. I donʼt know how I can respond, but I confirm it anyway.

[Humans can be terrible, wouldnʼt you like to plunge this race into chaos?] the beautiful voice says, like a whisper from the devil, but with a sweet temptation.

”Yes, I would.” Honestly, I donʼt care that not everyone is guilty, I know very well that there are good people, but it is in human nature to be selfish, so I can only care about myself when I had a death like this.

[Then my daughter, do you know what you lacked to not be trampled on by this world?]

ʼDaughter?...ʼ I decide to ignore the fact that the voice called me ”daughter” since Iʼm a man, I think itʼs more important to answer the question.

”Power...if I had power, this would never have happened.” The world boils down to a single word: ”Power.” The world belongs to the powerful, when you have power you can stay on top of those who donʼt have as much power as you, and those who are powerful take advantage of this fact.

[So if you had power at that moment...what would you do?]

”I would kill them.” I answer without hesitation, if at that moment I had power, I would kill them without caring, my empathy died a long time ago when they killed my mother, I donʼt know anyone in this world and I have nothing of value, so killing them would be the only thing my thoughts would lead me to do at that moment.

[If you, my daughter, had the power you speak of...would you use it for good or evil?]

”...”

”Evil” if I had that power, I would do whatever I wanted, I wouldnʼt let them step on me like an insect, I would crush them before. I donʼt care about good, or morality, I did everything for my mother, when she died anything lost its value.

She told me to be happy, I would be much happier if I could be evil, living above others, having the power to stay on top of those who looked down on me.

[Daughter...If you went back to that world...would you plunge it into chaos for me?]

I donʼt know who this being talking to me is, I deduce that I am just delirious from being in this void, but my answer is obvious.

”Yes...if I went back to that world I would plunge it into the deepest chaos.” Many say that revenge is not worth it, and that in the end all that remains is a void, but itʼs not just that, with revenge finally comes satisfaction and the feeling of freedom from a weight in your heart.

I want to have that satisfaction, the feeling that I am above all those who treated me like trash, I want to trample on them, I want to make them suffer more than I suffered.

[Hehehe, my daughter is so interesting] the voice says with a beautiful laugh.

[So show me daughter...show me this magnificent vision, plunge the world into the depths of the abyss, make the world a worse place than the darkest hell you can imagine]

”Who are you?” Itʼs clear to me that this canʼt just be an illusion, I notice how the whole void seems to tremble every time this voice speaks.

[I am the Goddess of the Abyss, and you, my daughter, will be the new Demon King]

”Iʼll be...the Demon King?”

[Thatʼs right daughter, you will have the power you spoke of, you will have the power to plunge this world into chaos, do what the old Demon King gave up on doing, plunge the world into a pit of despair, put everyone beneath your feet]

The offer is tempting, I donʼt have much to think about, Iʼm already dead, and besides, Iʼve always had the desire to get revenge.

Since I canʼt be a [Hero], why not become the [Demon King]? From what I know of the history of this world, the Demon King is the most feared existence, the level of fear of him is such that he is not considered a monster but a natural disaster.

This comparison means that he is something that the races of this world cannot stop, a natural force of the world that, wherever it passes, devastates. So I will become even more, I will be even worse than a natural disaster, I will be an unstoppable calamity.

Whether this being who makes me such a proposal is a God or a Demon, I donʼt care, as long as I really can have the power to do what I want, I accept anything.

”I want it, I will plunge this world into chaos, if you really make me the Demon King,” I say without hesitation.

[Perfect my daughter, I hope you show me a beautiful vision, show that world that the abyss will always be the most powerful force of all]

[When you are reborn, my daughter, you will be in the Valeheart mansion, it is a family that has offered servants to all generations of Demon Kings, you can trust it]

[I hope our next reunion you can really see me, have a good night my dear daughter, and may the world know the new Demon King]

After she says that, I feel my consciousness fade away, as if I had passed out, all I wish at the moment is that when I wake up, I really have enough power to do what I want.

...

...

...

”Iʼm alive...” All I see is still darkness, but now I have a body, I can move my hands even though I canʼt see them. They seem...thin?

I feel a warm, viscous liquid, and as if I were submerged in it, itʼs a little comforting, as if it were a safe place from the cruel world.

ʼCould it be...ʼ I put my hand in my mouth to taste it, the liquid is more viscous and sticky than I expected, but itʼs delicious, now I realize Iʼm very hungry, as if I havenʼt eaten anything for months.

I start eating this liquid, although the consistency is strange, the taste is good so it doesnʼt matter. I eat it as fast as I can, my hunger is slightly sated.

ʼI want more...ʼ the liquid I was almost submerged in now only reaches a little above my heel, I realize this place is a bit tight. I tap lightly on what I think is the wall, the shape of this place is round.

I try to hit harder, and a crack appears.

ʼI can get outʼ I start hitting to break this place, the crack starts to grow as a cracking sound begins.

Crack, Crack, CRACK

Finally a large piece is torn off, I put my hands over my eyes. The lighting I see after only seeing darkness is a bit uncomfortable. I start to crawl through the hole to get out.

Soon I get out of where I was and find myself on a beautiful obsidian floor in a structure that looks like an altar.

”Your Majesty, I congratulate you on your birth” a beautiful voice with a sensual touch speaks. I look at who said that.

I see a beautiful girl with black hair and blue eyes, she has sexy curves, medium to large breasts, while her clothes are sexy and elegant, I notice she has horns and a tail as well as wings.

I was going to say something, but my thoughts change.

”Iʼm hungry...” My first words after being reborn were to say that I want something to eat. The girl leaves the room for a moment while warning.

”Iʼll be right back with your meal, Your Majesty, just a moment.”

I look at where I came out, and see that itʼs some kind of giant egg, it has a black coloration that is so dark that it seems to absorb all the ambient light.

ʼI was born...from an egg?ʼ I start to analyze my body, Iʼm completely naked but what surprises me is.

”Iʼm a...girl?” My body no longer has my ”little brother”, my penis has completely disappeared, soon I analyze my body and see, I must be around 1.65 meters tall, I have long black hair.

I look around the room and see a mirror, soon I walk up to it.

When I look at my reflection, I am surprised, I have long black hair that reaches my waist, small to medium breasts, an extremely pale, almost white skin, my eyes are a deep red that is even scary, my pupils form a black spiral that seems infinite.

I also have a large angelic halo over my head, but its color varies between shades of black and red, with a shape like a circle with points that form a star or constellation.

I also have a tail, it has a rather long length while it seems smooth and soft, it seems so natural on my body that I didnʼt even notice I had one.

The realization hits me, Iʼm no longer human, now I am the [Demon King].

”...”

”...”

”Ha...HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA” I laugh like a maniac, the Goddess of the Abyss seems to have told the truth, I am the newest Demon King. Finally I have the power I wanted.

Even my voice is beautiful, it has a soft, elegant tone but with an almost supernatural chilling touch. Although turning into a girl is something I didnʼt expect, I donʼt care.

I couldnʼt care less, turning into a girl wonʼt stop me from getting my revenge, even if Iʼm a girl, Iʼm still the Demon King, this world will still be plunged into destruction and pain.

”Your Majesty, I apologize for the delay, I just didnʼt want your meal to witness your glorious birth” She says as she drags a...

”Human?” what the beautiful girl brought with her was a human, she has blonde hair and brown eyes, she is naked so I can see everything, she has fair skin, and a well-cared for body, she is probably some human noble.

”...”

I quickly understand what she meant, and honestly seeing this girl reminds me that Iʼm hungry, Iʼm a demon...well I donʼt know if my race is demon, but Iʼm clearly not human, and seeing this girl tied up and crying fills me with hunger.

”...”

ʼI want to eat...ʼ itʼs almost an instinct, I know this girl is my meal, although human morality says that eating a human is repugnant, I canʼt feel disgust, in fact itʼs the opposite.

This human seems appetizing, her scent excites my senses, I donʼt impose the rules imposed by humans, soon I move my tail, the movement is so natural, as if my tail had always existed.

With a simple upward and downward movement, her arm is cut off.

”HMMM HMHMMMMH” She cries while screaming desperately but the gag prevents the sound. With my tail I grab the severed arm and put it in my hands.

Moving the tail is almost like moving an arm.

I hold the arm in my hands and smell it, the scent of the blood is intoxicating, Iʼve never felt such a delicious scent. Soon I put it in my mouth and start chewing.

Crunch Crack Whack

My teeth shred the bones as if they were nothing, showing the strength of my jaw, although the sound of grinding makes it seem like something hard is being crushed, for me itʼs soft and crunchy, the meat is soft while the bone is crunchy, chewing the bone is almost like chewing a snack, it only has a sound but itʼs not really hard.

The taste is wonderful and easily the most delicious thing Iʼve ever tasted, showing that my palate has changed completely, I eat it so quickly that the arm disappears too fast.

Soon I tear off another arm from the girl who screams desperately. I continue eating while slowly cutting off her limbs, I know I could kill her quickly, but I feel like I want to see her suffer, itʼs just fun.

This is the first time I have total control over another life, the feeling is satisfying, Iʼve always dreamed of the day when I could be above others, and Iʼve finally achieved it.

Throughout this time, the black-haired girl just watches, she has a satisfied smile. My meal cried and struggled until her last breath when I finally beheaded her, although the posture for eating something so large is strange, I can devour her body completely.

I notice how Iʼm dirty with blood, and a viscous liquid that came from the egg I came out of.

”Your Majesty, would you like a bath? Or do you want to have another meal?” she speaks as she waits, her gaze reminds me of a loyal puppy.

I got so distracted with my meal that I forgot about this girl. She must be from the Valeheart family, that is, my loyal servant.

”I want a bath...and whatʼs your name?” I ask with my beautiful voice. The girl seems super happy that I asked, Iʼve never seen anyone get so excited just by asking their name.

”I am Elena Valeheart, Your Majesty, Iʼm glad you have an interest in a mere servant like me” She says containing her excitement. From the appearance of the room, this girl is a noblewoman among the demons, so I donʼt understand how she can get excited by declaring herself a servant, but I have nothing to complain about.

”Letʼs go” I say as she starts to guide me to the bathroom. Soon we arrive while I enter, she enters with me and soon I realize how completely naked I am in front of a girl, it makes me a little embarrassed.

She guides me to a spot in the bathroom.

”May I touch your body, Your Majesty?” she asks politely.

”Yes?”

”Are you going to give me a bath?” I never expected this.

”If Your Majesty allows it, yes”

”...Okay, you can do it...” She soon grabs some kind of cloth and starts cleaning the excess blood and viscous liquid from my body, her movements are super delicate.

After that she pours water over my body, and rubs with some kind of soap, after pouring another bucket of warm water I realize, she guides me to a bathtub.

I enter the bathtub while she continues to do various care on my body, there are so many cares that I donʼt even try to remember.

ʼGirls take such good care of their bodies?ʼ

”Elena...why isnʼt another servant bathing me?” I ask with doubts about why she doesnʼt get a maid to clean me.

”Is Your Majesty dissatisfied with me?” she asks with a sad tone.

”No, I just donʼt know why a servant instead of you, a noblewoman, isnʼt bathing me”

”I would never let a mere servant touch the majestic body of Your Majesty, if Your Majesty is dissatisfied with me, another noble of the house should attend to you” she explains why.

”...I see” I donʼt care who cleans me anyway, so I donʼt say anything else. The bath is great, although being observed without clothes makes me a bit embarrassed.
