CEO's Reborn Wife

”Then I’ll tell Sister Tin that I’ll postpone all work until the child is three months old.” Jane Sampson checked on her mobile phone on the airplane; the first three months of pregnancy need extra attention.

James Black was satisfied, truly very satisfied.

”So obedient.” James Black praised Jane Sampson like coaxing a child, ”Will you stay here with me?”

Jane Sampson didn’t agree immediately, instead she glanced at James Black, giving him a mysterious gaze.

After a few seconds, she said, ”Am I the only one you miss? Do you think grandfather doesn’t miss me? Auntie doesn’t miss me?”

Originally, she wanted to mention Peter Gingery, but later Jane Sampson felt Peter Gingery was unreliable, so she dropped it.

”Let’s go see grandfather on the weekend.” James Black laughed softly, then picked up his mobile phone and started typing.

At first, Jane Sampson thought James Black was sending Elder Black a message about going home on the weekend, but after waiting four or five minutes, without seeing James Black raise his head, she realized she misunderstood.

She poked James Black’s arm, ”The one who supposedly misses me a lot, I’m sitting right here, yet you’re captivated by your mobile phone.”

Her words sounded a bit pouty.

”I suspect your claim of missing me is just a pretense,” Jane Sampson remarked, craning her head to peek at James Black’s phone, ”What are you looking at?”

James Black straightforwardly handed the mobile phone to Jane Sampson, ”Just now checked some precautions and dietary taboos for pregnant women, let’s go through it together.”

James Black initially wanted Jane Sampson to stay at the base with him, but now changed his mind, ”After Mair Williams returns, you should also go back to the Black Residence to live; there are people to take care of you, and you’ll have company. Aunt will look after you. You often get hungry; Aunt will prepare food for you, so you don’t have to do it yourself.”

James Black wanted Jane Sampson to stay at the base with him, so he could see her as soon as he returned.

But now Jane Sampson is pregnant, and during the daytime when he’s out busy, she’ll be alone in the house. James Black is worried Jane Sampson might feel bored or that if something unexpected happens, no one would be there to help her in time.

Just now he checked online; the mood of a pregnant woman is very important, and it’s essential to keep her happy, so after considering, James Black decided Jane Sampson should live at the Black Residence.

”Later on weekends, I’ll go to the Black Residence to keep you company.” James Black gently rubbed Jane Sampson’s head, ”Be good, don’t jump around the house, walk slowly when you see people, don’t dash like the Great General when he sees you.”

At this moment, Jane Sampson was very obedient, not deliberately opposing James Black; whatever he said, she agreed with.

However, both underestimated the fervor Elder Black and Brooke Black had for the child in Jane Sampson’s belly.

In the afternoon at 2:30, Elder Black and Brooke Black arrived at the base with Bright Sampton. Jane Sampson opened the door and was stunned to see the three standing in the doorway.

”Why are you all here?” Jane Sampson quickly opened the door to let them in, ”Grandfather, are you tired? I’ll pour you a cup of water.”

”Tired? What tired? Your aunt drove here; we didn’t come by foot.” Elder Black’s eyes were squinting with joy, ”Once grandfather sees you, he feels no tiredness; my heart is full of joy.”

Technically, as a senior, he should wait for Jane Sampson to go home, but Elder Black couldn’t sit still. Jane Sampson had just spent half a day on the airplane today, and he couldn’t bear to let her endure too much hassle, so he had nothing to do and simply came to the base himself.
