CEO's Reborn Wife

”Nia is gone, and I want to accompany her on her final journey.” Jane Sampson knew it was quite unreasonable to ask for leave right after joining, so she didn’t hide anything from the director and gave him the reason she had to take leave.

The matter of Jane Sampson and Nina Rice helping Nia was known all over the internet, and because of Jane Sampson’s popularity, Nia became a child of widespread concern online.

Later, Sister Grace’s lawsuit with her ex-husband also attracted a lot of attention.

The director was momentarily stunned upon hearing Nia’s name, as he knew of the poor girl.

”Nia is gone?” The director was quite surprised, ”I saw on Twitter that she just had a transplant surgery? I heard the surgery went quite smoothly.”

”She was rushed to the hospital at midnight yesterday and suddenly passed away this morning,” Jane Sampson explained, ”Sister Grace is temporarily not planning to publicly announce Nia’s passing. She said the weather over there has been bad, with constant rain, and she’s afraid that if many people go to bid Nia farewell, there might be accidents on the road.”

”What a pity,” the director sighed several times.

It truly is a pity.

The child was so understanding and well-behaved. Previously when making a call with Daniel Taylor, he even mentioned how nice it would be to let the child play a role and nurture her if there’s a chance.

After listening to Jane Sampson’s explanation, the director understood her intention.

”Go ahead, I’ll make some adjustments here in the film crew and bring someone else’s script forward to shoot first. It’s not a big deal.” The director understood Jane Sampson well, knowing she had been in close contact with the child, and the child’s passing affected Jane greatly.

Since Jane Sampson needed to take leave, the director decided to move all of Jane’s scenes to be shot after she returned.

Having gained time, she booked a flight ticket and went back the next day.

She first returned to Capital Province and brought along the dress she had worn in her Spring Festival Gala performance with James Carter, then set off with Coco Edwards to send Nia off.

There weren’t many people at Nia’s farewell for the remains, with only Sister Grace, her mother, from Nia’s family present.

Alexander Forest also came, along with Quincy Forest.

Then there were doctors and nurses from the hospital who were available, all of whom had accompanied Nia during her hospitalization, and Nia’s passing was a heavy blow to them as well.

The time they spent with Nia was even longer than that of Jane Sampson and the others.

”Why did you bring the dress along?” Nina Rice asked Jane Sampson in a low voice, looking at the bag she was holding.

”Nia mentioned many times when she was alive that this dress of mine was particularly beautiful, that wearing it made someone look like a fairy. She really liked this dress. In fact, I had always kept this dress set aside, thinking about giving it to Nia when she grew up into a young girl.” Because of this thought, Jane Sampson carefully preserved the dress after her performance.

She originally planned to give this dress to Nia as her 16th birthday gift.

But it’s a pity, Nia won’t live to see 16.

”Let this dress accompany Nia into eternal rest.” Jane Sampson handed the dress to Sister Grace, ”Nia should like it.”

”Thank you.” Sister Grace took the dress with trembling hands, ”Nia really liked it, Nia truly loved this dress.”

Sister Grace wiped her tears, ”I once thought of ordering the same style in a child’s version for Nia online, but Nia was too sensible. She told me not to spend money carelessly. I heeded her advice and dismissed the thought. I should have bought it for her, I really should have!”

Sister Grace couldn’t stop blaming herself.
