CEO's Reborn Wife

”Hold the mobile phone a bit farther away, let me see if it’s a lens angle issue.” James Black thought Jane Sampson’s little bird stomach from eating wouldn’t get fat this fast.

Jane Sampson obediently stretched her arm, straight as a rod, ”Like this? Still fat?”

James Black scrutinized for a few seconds, ”Looks like you’ve really gained weight.”

One sentence, and it hit right in the heart.

Jane Sampson held the mobile phone dully, pouting, ”Then I can’t video call Sister Tin, she’ll want to kill me.”

Rock Bell would probably freak out, her artist who went to the countryside didn’t lose weight, but got fatter instead.

In just a little while, someone like Jane Sampson who had always been thin, actually gained weight.

Rock Bell had always been confident about Jane Sampson’s body management and never specifically reminded her to diet, since Jane Sampson had never been fat from childhood.

”You have a good appetite in the countryside?” James Black laughed at Jane Sampson’s distressed look, ”Nothing to worry about, you were too thin before, even if you’ve gained some now, it’s still a normal person’s appearance.”

”Okay.” Jane Sampson nodded in agreement.

”How good?” James Black thought to himself, no wonder she’s so reluctant to come back from the countryside.

Jane Sampson didn’t want to say, saying it would mean her appetite was so good that her mouth was never idle a day.

The village elders were especially good, seeing her and wanting to feed her, seeing her eat made them happy, like they were feeding their own three-year-old gourmand granddaughter.

”No worries, when you come back I’ll take you to exercise for a few days.” James Black comforted her seeing Jane Sampson a bit sullen, ”You lose weight quickly.”

”That’s true.” Jane Sampson was pacified easily, confidently patting her chest, ”I think this has gotten bigger too.”

After speaking, Jane Sampson akimboed and chuckled, ”You’re no help, relying on you is worse than relying on myself!”

James Black’s gaze twinkled, ”Is that so? When you come back, I’ll check.”

”Then you’re doomed!” Jane Sampson laughed, ”Once I’m back, if I weigh seven or eight pounds more, you’ll have to prepare seven or eight gifts for me!”

”Come back first, then we’ll talk.” Not just seven or eight gifts, even if it were seventy or eighty, or seven or eight hundred, as long as it would coax her back home, nothing was too much.

”I’ve already booked your return flight, Coco Edwards will go over tomorrow.” James Black was really afraid Jane Sampson would ditch him again.

Jane Sampson was a chatterbox, and while James Black was a good listener and a cunning fox, they hadn’t chatted for ten plus minutes before Jane Sampson, in the midst of her gabbing, spilled what she ate today to James Black.

When James Black asked her earlier, she didn’t say, but at this moment she unconsciously let it slip.

After listening to Jane Sampson’s story, James Black finally understood why she gained weight so fast.

Because, she really ate a lot.

James Black was a bit shocked, but seeing that Jane Sampson showed no discomfort from overeating, he could only attribute it to her being so robust in the countryside, running around all day, having plenty of activity, so eating a lot didn’t feel stuffing.

Jane Sampson, hearing this, froze there, unsure of what to say.

For a while, she only pouted, ”Did you really let Coco Edwards come over? It’s so hard for her to have free time to be with her boyfriend, and you actually split her and her boyfriend up.”

”Her boss doesn’t have a husband to accompany her, what does she need a boyfriend for?” James Black himself didn’t have time to go pick up Jane Sampson, otherwise, he would have flown over to bring her back himself.
