CEO's Reborn Wife

”Can we go in to see her?” Jane Sampson asked.

”Hold on, wait until the bodyguards James arranged arrive, then we can go in,” said James Carter. ”Before you even got off the airplane, James gave me a call about this. He said you had a nightmare last night?”

Jane Sampson looked a bit dazed and muttered quietly, ”How did he even mention that?”

A few minutes later, two tall and strong bodyguards came up. Accompanied by the bodyguards and the doctor, Jane Sampson and the others entered the ward.

Inside the ward, Jillian Carter, who was chatting and laughing with the nurse, heard footsteps at the doorway and looked up towards it.

Then her expression paused for a moment, but she immediately stood up happily and greeted the three of them.

”Mom, Brother, Jane, you’re here!” Jillian Carter said with a joyful smile, ”You all are really something, I’m just here with the baby for a regular check-up, and all of you came?”

For the first time, Jane Sampson saw such a kind and gentle smile on Jillian Carter’s face.

The gloomy smile she used to have was gone, replaced by one that’s bright and captivating.

”Brother, have you released a new album recently? When you release a new album, I’ll be the first to get it! By the way, Jane, has your new drama started? When your new movie is released, I must take the baby and also invite Joseph Shaw to see the premiere. The whole family has to support your new movie!”

After saying this, Jillian Carter picked up the doll in her arms and handed it to Gwendolyn Young, looking loving, ”Mom, look, doesn’t the baby look like Daddy? Come on, baby, call Grandma.”

Her face was full of happiness, like a mother and wife surrounded by love.

”Is your baby a boy or a girl?” Jane Sampson asked curiously.

Jillian Carter’s expression paused again, then she murmured softly, ”Boy or girl?”

While murmuring, she reached out and took the doll back, opened the swaddle, took a look at the baby, then smiled, ”It’s a boy! I gave Joseph Shaw a chubby son! It’s a boy! Look, doesn’t my son look like his dad? Doesn’t he look just like him?”

After confirming the child’s gender, Jillian Carter was even happier, pointing at the baby’s eyes and nose saying this part looks like Joseph Shaw, and then saying the baby’s eyebrows look like hers, the mom’s.

Then she insisted Gwendolyn Young holds the baby and then turned to ask Jane Sampson, ”By the way, you’ve been married to James for several years, right? When are you two planning to have kids? Have them early, so our children won’t have much of an age gap, and they can grow up together.”

Jillian Carter seemed to have endless words to say, ”Ever since I got married, got pregnant, and had a child, it’s been a long time since we went shopping together, right? Jane, when Joseph Shaw comes back from the base one day, I’ll let him look after the baby at home. The two of us, good friends, will arrange to go shopping ourselves. You don’t bring your James, and I won’t bring my Joseph, just us sisters shopping on our own.”

Then, Jillian Carter suddenly turned her head to ask James Carter, ”Brother, when are you and Sister Mandy Forest getting married? The baby and I are waiting to eat your wedding candy, you and Sister Mandy have been together for so long, it’s time to get married, right? Sister Mandy is such a good person, you can’t let her down.”

Jillian Carter said this, holding Gwendolyn Young’s hand with a smile, ”Mom, aren’t you happy now? All three of your kids are very happy, in the future, there will be a bunch of kids surrounding you, calling you Grandma and Granny.”
