CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2111: Chapter 2119: Always Has Been

The two of them held their mobile phones, just like that, neither of them spoke, and suddenly fell into silence again.

From where Kane Forest was standing, he could see through the window to the courtyard downstairs, and his parents were looking up worriedly in the direction of his room. In the sunlight, the white hair at their temples gleamed silver.

Waking on the hospital bed, Kane Forest noticed his dad and mom had suddenly grown a lot of white hairs.

After being discharged for recovery, in the house, it was either his mother or father. There was always someone at home accompanying him.

Kane Forest had been self-disciplined since he was a child, never worrying his parents.

Academics and growth had always been like that.

But unexpectedly, it was his grown-up self that made his parents anxious enough to turn gray overnight.

”Okay.”

Kane Forest finally spoke, using a very gentle tone to the girl on the phone, ”In the future, I will meet a girl as good as you. She will like me, and I will like her.”

Kane Forest silently said goodbye to Jane Sampson in his heart.

The first girl who moved his heart.

Jane Sampson.

His reckless behavior caused so many people to be anxious and restless day and night.

And also made her carry a heavy burden in her heart.

During his days of fainting in the hospital, everyone in the Forest Family worried for him. At that time, Jane Sampson was probably not happy either and was also worried about him.

Because she is a soft-hearted girl.

She feared anyone because she didn’t want anyone to get hurt. The last thing she wanted was to bring disaster to the people by her side.

After hanging up the call, Kane Forest gently put the phone into his pocket.

He stood there, but his heart was extraordinarily calm.

Whether he could let go now or not.

But she is still alive, which for him, is the greatest joy, isn’t it?

That sentence ”I like you,” Kane Forest ultimately didn’t say it to Jane Sampson in person.

Kane Forest thought, perhaps he could leave that sentence for the next one he likes.

Three days later, Jane Sampson learned from Nina Rice that Kane Forest went abroad with Father Forest and Mother Forest. On one hand, it was for recovery, and on the other hand, he had also taken over the overseas business of the Forest Clan Group.

From now on, the domestic management of the Forest Clan Group was handed over to Alexander Forest, while Kane Forest was responsible for the overseas part. The two brothers truly supported the entire Forest Clan Group.

Kane Forest’s grandparents also went abroad with the eldest son’s family, mainly because they were worried about their eldest grandson’s health, so they went along.

”Isn’t Alexander Forest now busy like a dog every day? So have you been free recently?” Jane Sampson asked.

”Free? That shows you don’t know Alexander Forest well enough,” Nina said. ”He doesn’t have time to personally block my way, but in the annoying places, it’s still really annoying.”

Nina said, ”Every day, my WhatsApp is about to be maxed out by his messages. When he holds a meeting and encounters someone who disagrees with him, he comes to me complaining that no one respects him as a little boss. When the assistant orders a meal that doesn’t suit his stomach, he also comes to me pretending to be wronged, saying he hasn’t eaten.”

”Is he expecting you to deliver meals to him?” Jane Sampson was practically ready to give a thumbs up to Alexander Forest.

”Isn’t that exactly what he means?” Nina laughed, ”I really want to take a ruler and measure how thick his face is.”

”So did you deliver meals to him?” Jane Sampson asked casually.

Nina’s cold laughter came to an abrupt stop, like a duck suddenly choked by its throat.
