CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2105: Chapter 2113: Maybe Not

Looking at Kane Forest’s state after waking up, Alexander Forest now truly agrees with the decision of the seniors in the house to take Kane Forest abroad for recuperation.

So, after all, seniors are still seniors and always see things more clearly than young people.

After Peter Gingery returned to the Black Residence, he was still messaging with Alexander Forest, listening to him complain about the things Kane Forest said during the time he was sober.

In the long decades of Kane Forest’s life, Jane Sampson was the first girl to touch his heart, someone he kept hidden inside for many years.

Such deep and profound feelings, even after she left this world, Kane Forest couldn’t put aside.

Or rather, it was precisely because of her sudden passing that Kane Forest couldn’t escape the maze he had set for himself.

After Peter Gingery finished reading Alexander’s messages, he put down his mobile phone and looked up at Jane Sampson who was curled up to the side, playing a game on his number.

The issue that Kane Forest mentioned in Alexander’s complaints suddenly popped into Peter Gingery’s mind.

Before Jane Sampson and James Black’s marriage, if Kane Forest had confessed and pursued Jane Sampson, then, might Jane Sampson have married Kane Forest now?

This question, Peter Gingery couldn’t necessarily give an answer.

When Jane Sampson married James Black, it was not without the mindset of hastily leaving the Sampton Family, a place that suffocated her.

Peter Gingery always felt, at that time, that Jane Sampson could only leave the Sampton Family legitimately through marriage, so back then Jane Sampson probably didn’t mind who she married.

That’s why she married James Black.

Thinking this, if, in the past, Kane Forest really pursued Jane Sampson and won her over, then he might not have missed the chance to marry Jane Sampson.

As long as Jane Sampson nodded, the Black Family wouldn’t make things difficult for her because the seniors in the Black Family truly cherished her as their own child.

The people of the Forest Family have good relationships, without those sordid struggles. The parents of the Forest Family had always liked Jane Sampson, so if Jane Sampson felt that marrying Alexander Forest wouldn’t cause too much trouble or obstacles, she might indeed have married someone who loved her.

However.

On second thought.

Peter Gingery felt that perhaps she wouldn’t have.

Because Jane Sampson cherished the Black Family deeply.

The kindness the Black Family showed her, Jane Sampson cherished bit by bit.

So, it might also be that because she carried the marriage contract with James Black, and knowing everyone in the Black Family cherished her, she wouldn’t do anything to disappoint the seniors. Therefore, it’s possible that if Kane Forest confessed from the start, Jane Sampson would have flatly rejected him.

Everything is unpredictable; things from the past, things that never happened, no one can say for sure.

Bright Sampton only returned to the Black Residence after spending half a month in the countryside, and on the same day Bright Sampton returned, Kane Forest was discharged from the hospital, returned to the Forest Family’s ancestral home to recuperate, and did not go abroad as per his parents’ wishes.

During this half month, Old Master Black only spoke once to Jane Sampson about James Black’s news.

He said that he had confirmed James Black and Alexander Forest’s whereabouts, confirming that James Black was fine now.

Apart from that, there wasn’t any more information.

It could be that Old Master Black didn’t inquire further, or perhaps he didn’t tell Jane Sampson more.

Bright Sampton, having left the team with nowhere to go, after returning to the Black Residence, commissioned an agent to find a house for him to rent and live in temporarily.
