CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2102: Chapter 2110: Glad You’re Awake

She suddenly turned her head toward the doorway to look at Peter Gingery and asked incredulously, ”What did you say?”

”Good news, Mr. Forest is awake! Alexander Forest just called me and said Kane Forest woke up a few minutes ago.” Peter was overjoyed, holding his mobile phone and twirling around happily with Jane Sampson. ”It’s really good news! No wonder the sun was so bright this morning when I woke up; today is indeed a good sign.”

The news of Kane Forest waking up not only made Peter Gingery this excited, but even Jane Sampson couldn’t hide her joy.

A huge stone in her heart could finally be put down slightly.

Frankly, Kane Forest’s accident, whether Jane Sampson felt guilty or not.

Saying she didn’t feel guilty is impossible.

Ever since she was young, Jane Sampson had told herself not to trouble others, not to cause confusion for others. She always cautiously required herself to be an independent person, not influencing others.

However, this time, because of her, Kane Forest almost lost his life.

During the most painful times, Jane Sampson felt so guilty that she really wished she was the one lying in the hospital.

”By the way, grandfather is out walking with the Great General. You stay home and don’t move around too much. I’m going out to the hospital now.” Peter let go of Jane, smiling so widely that his eyes seemed to be missing.

”Okay.” Jane nodded, seeing how overly excited Peter was, she couldn’t help but remind him, ”Drive carefully on the road.”

Peter waved back at Jane as he replied, not sure if he really heard her or not, he went out, got into his car, and left.

At the hospital, with the news of Kane Forest waking up, the whole Forest family had gone there.

Kane had just woken up; lying in his sickbed, he hadn’t said much, and his complexion still didn’t look very well.

”Brother, this time you really scared us all.” Quincy Forest said with teary eyes, looking pitiful like a little white rabbit. ”We’ve been by your side for several days. Do you know how scary you looked before? You went into the emergency rescue room twice a day, each time Elder Uncle and Auntie had to sign so many agreements, it really scared me.”

Kane quietly looked at Quincy, just giving a light hum. Seeing the worried looks on his family’s faces, he felt somewhat guilty in his heart.

Back then, when he made that impulsive decision, and fainted, what he felt guilty about was his family.

It’s just that, at that time, he couldn’t control himself, couldn’t control that rush of enthusiasm to do something for Jane Sampson.

”It’s good you’re awake, it’s good you’re awake.” Jasmine Seven’s mother truly felt relieved. ”The doctor said that if you’re awake, there is basically no danger anymore. The recovery will just take some time.”

After speaking, Jasmine Seven’s mother looked toward Kane’s mother, then said, ”In two days, let’s go to the temple to give thanks, truly blessed by the Bodhisattva!”

Normally, Alexander Forest would have pushed back, saying she was superstitious and so on, but now, Alexander dared not be disrespectful even a little bit in his heart.

”Your dad has arranged things internationally; once you’re released from the hospital, we’ll go overseas to accompany you for a while. Over these years, you’ve been so busy with company matters, it’s time to hand them over to Alexander so you can have a good rest.” Kane’s mother spoke softly.

However, before she could finish speaking, Kane shook his head gently and uttered two words, ”Not going.”
