CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 2109: Chapter 2117: I Contact Him

Father Carter and Mother Carter watched Jillian Carter busy from beginning to end with registration and gathering money, neither mentioning helping her.

Even the brand registration was assisted by Joseph Shaw.

Jillian Carter didn’t ask for help from Father and Mother Carter, so they listened to Old Sir Carter and Granny Carter, wanting to see if Jillian Carter was serious about starting a company.

Jane Sampson wasn’t very interested in Jillian Carter’s affairs; however, when Mother Carter spoke, she listened patiently.

She also understood the reason Mother Carter was telling her this; Jillian Carter previously told her that the Carter Family would help Jillian start a company. Therefore, Mother Carter was informing her that currently, the Carter Family is not providing any assistance to Jillian in starting the company.

”I know you don’t want to hear about her affairs, so Mom won’t talk about it anymore.” Mother Carter patted the back of Jane Sampson’s hand, ”Before, Mom always hoped you two would get along well and thought of you and Jillian as being equally dear, hoping the family could be harmonious, but now Mom understands.”

”If Mom’s hopes meant you had to endure grievances, then these hopes wouldn’t truly be Mom’s wishes. Mom’s only wish is for Jane to be happy and healthy every day.” This is the most common and sincere hope of a mother.

”Mom, your wish has always come true; I’m very happy and healthy every day now.” Jane Sampson said playfully, holding Mother Carter’s arm, ”You have no idea how devilish James Black is; he forced me to take Chinese medicine for several months. Before, I was afraid of the cold and had cold hands and feet; now, I no longer do. Feel my hand, isn’t it warm now?”

While they were talking, Jane Sampson’s mobile phone suddenly rang.

It was her mobile phone at the Black Family’s, which only a few people knew about.

Peter Gingery, who had returned to the guard team after his vacation, was the one making a call to her.

”Jane, President Forest has come to me, begging to see you one last time.” Peter Gingery said, ”He probably tried Mom and Bright before, but was refused, so he just called me, pleading to take him to see you one last time.”

Peter Gingery sighed, ”I didn’t want to tell you about this, but President Forest begged me on the phone until I felt a bit soft-hearted. However, I didn’t say anything about your situation, thinking it’d be best for you to make the decision.”

He hadn’t discussed President Forest’s matters with Jane Sampson since returning from the hospital; he assumed...

Jane Sampson was quiet for a long time before finally making a decision.

”I understand. I’ll contact him.” She said, ”Overall, he needs to let go.”

”Everyone hopes he can let go.” Peter Gingery hoped so too, considering President Forest liked Jane Sampson, who officially is his sister-in-law.

If someone else looked at it, even if they were married, seeing President Forest suffer, Peter Gingery would have lost his shame long ago and encouraged someone to undermine it.

”I’ll go upstairs to make a phone call.” Jane Sampson stood up and explained to the three, thought about it, and quickly added, ”Mom and Brother, if you’re not in a hurry, stay for a meal together.”

”Sure, you haven’t had my cooking in a long time, have you?” James Carter agreed without hesitation, ”Then I’ll borrow Elder Black’s kitchen.”

Jane Sampson took her mobile phone and ran upstairs directly, then found Kane Forest’s mobile number from her original phone.

She thought about it and called Kane Forest using the mobile phone prepared by the Black Family.
