CEO's Reborn Wife

Chapter 1547: Chapter 1555: Did Not See

After using eye drops, Jane Sampson’s eyes were fine when she woke up the next morning, and she still entered the film crew looking as beautiful as ever.

When Jane Sampson arrived, she immediately spotted the original author, Fiery Fanny, who was already in the group.

Jane Sampson walked towards the crowd, greeted the director and others, and then smiled at Fiery Fanny.

”Little Jane.” Fiery Fanny repressed the original emotions on her face upon seeing Jane Sampson, and greeted her as if nothing happened, ”Finally seeing you, do you know how long I’ve been looking forward to this day? Goddess! You are my goddess!”

Jane Sampson and Fiery Fanny often kept in touch through Twitter, discussing script creation and the female lead in Fiery Fanny’s mind. Although the two had never met, they were almost like good friends.

Growing up in the Sampton Family environment, Jane Sampson developed the habit of observing others’ emotions since she was young, even the most subtle ones could easily be noticed by her.

So even though Fiery Fanny tried her best to hide the emotions in her eyes, Jane Sampson still noticed.

However, there were many people around, so she didn’t ask for the moment.

”You are also the creator I really like. Before the New Year, I stayed up several nights reading your novel.” Jane Sampson wasn’t exaggerating at all; during the first few days of reading, James Black had to call regularly to remind her to rest early.

To what extent did he remind her?

To the extent of trying to call her at midnight to see if she could answer.

Jane Sampson still doesn’t understand the point of these actions, since, after all, she could just not answer the phone and pretend to be asleep.

The director was still arranging things, and after exchanging a few words with Jane Sampson, he directed her to go to the makeup artist and wait. When the start-up ceremony officially began, he would send someone to fetch her.

Jane Sampson agreed, took Fiery Fanny and Lucy Brisk, and headed straight to the makeup room.

Times have changed; Jane Sampson is now the female lead, and her current stature is much different from when she first entered the scene last year. As a result, she has her own separate makeup room here.

Upon entering, Jane Sampson wasted no time and directly asked Fiery Fanny, ”What’s wrong? You seem a bit upset.”

Fiery Fanny sighed, nodded, sat down on a chair, and said, ”Didn’t you notice that you didn’t see the female supporting role when you arrived?”

”I didn’t see her indeed.” The actor list was shared by Fiery Fanny with Jane Sampson when she joined the crew, and Jane truly didn’t see the female supporting role when she arrived.

”I only found out just now that the female supporting role has been replaced and will only join the crew approximately a week later.” Fiery Fanny was quite frustrated, ”I asked the director who is playing the female supporting role now and why the originally decided role was changed, but the director didn’t say a word to me. He just said to do my job as a screenwriter and not worry about other things.”

”Replaced?” Jane Sampson was a bit surprised.

But she could also understand why Fiery Fanny was upset.

Fiery Fanny had been involved in every casting decision for this script from beginning to end. She valued her work very much, so from the very start, she was involved in the auditions and even personally scrutinized every word of the script.

”Suddenly changing roles is probably an issue from the investor’s side. If the investor wants to insert someone into the crew, the director can’t do much.” Jane Sampson patted Fiery Fanny’s shoulder and said, ”Don’t be upset yet, let’s see who comes. Maybe you will end up liking this person too?”
